Great customer service!! Sophia was super friendly! And the 15.99 all you can eat deal is so worth it

When arriving to the restaurant it was packed/ busy, before they seat us I see that there is about 5 tables available the host scouts the area and see the dirty table and ask if we are okay to sit there. He said he will clean it up for us and he did it was clean but also soaked in sanitation water from the rag they used. Either way we sit down and I don't know if it's this location but the seating arrangement was NASTY why are the seats that closes to one another I hated hearing others people conversation. Once seated we order drinks one Pepsis (YEA NO COKE OR DR PEPER!!) I orders a popin Sheryl temple, and my friend a Bacardi Pina Colada With Strawberry Swirl both of the bar drinks were made WRONG. I don't know if it's because we came in an hour and a few minutes before the restaurant closed, regardless I did mention to the waiter after waiting FOREVER on her that this didn't taste like it had alcohol in it she said it had about two ounces maybe two ounces of hopes and dreams and news but news flash IT DIDN'T!! My Sheryl temple was HELLA watered down and tasted like someone left it out. I don't know if the waiter made our dinks or the black guy at the bar made it wrong but yea no. Also the waiter was just not as attentive as her other peers I didn't get her name but she had curly kinky hair and was super sweat and helpful after waiting for 15 minutes. I did see a big guy walking around and just picking up plates and not helping customers. He seems to be the manger like brooo you see all these folks and not helping customers kinda reflects on you as manger. Either way the food came out, it was Sysco food what more can I expect. I recently tried Applebee's Unlimited Shrimp, Riblets, and Boneless Wings deal at two different locations. The price is excellent and offers great value, but the service needs improvement. The biggest issue was the long wait time between orders. Servers would ask for our next order, but it often took 15-20 minutes before the food arrived. Sometimes they would leave the table and return much later to take the next order, making the experience feel unnecessarily slow. The portions are also quite small, which makes the long wait times even more noticeable. We experienced the same issue at two separate Applebee's locations, so it doesn't seem to be an isolated problem. If Applebee's is promoting an unlimited deal, the process should be smoother and more efficient. The food and pricing are good, but the service needs significant improvement to make the promotion enjoyable for customers. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This experience was absolutely terrible. When I received a text saying our table was ready, my party of 6 went to the front. When I told the host I received the message, she looked at me with a blank stare like she had no idea what I was talking about. We were finally seated, but then waited about 30 minutes without a single server coming to our table to greet us, take a drink order, or even acknowledge us. A girl who appeared to be the manager eventually walked by, and we let her know we had been waiting. She kindly offered to take our order, but unfortunately managed to get most of our drinks and food completely wrong. After taking the order, she disappeared and we didn't see her again. When we tried to get help from another server (the one with the septum piercing), she had a terrible attitude and responded with a sarcastic tone when we explained that our food was missing or incorrect. It got so bad that I actually had to call the restaurant while sitting at the table because there was no server or manager in sight and we just wanted our check. When I asked the same server to remove the incorrect items from the bill, she said she'd see what the manager could do and then we waited another 20 minutes. Eventually I had to flag down another server to get the male manager's attention and explain the entire situation again. He just stared at me blankly with no real response or urgency. Our party arrived at 9:05 PM and didn't leave until 11:15 PM, and that was mostly due to waiting not because we were enjoying ourselves. The worst part is that the restaurant was not even busy. It was very clear their priority was the bar, not the tables. Overall, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. Poor service, incorrect orders, long waits, and management that seemed completely uninterested in fixing the situation. read more

I came Sunday evening about 8 o'clock and I thought service would be decent because it was Sunday night and boy was wrong. Kevin had me sitting on standby like a fool. Once he figured out that I was a one dollar margarita girl and a two for 25 appetizer grill it was screw that I'm not giving her any service. Once he took my order, it took 10 minutes before I saw him again never at my table always a table away asking me are you OK as he runs away. It took over 10 minutes for me to get a drink. I didn't even want it anymore. I had to walk out and hope that I get my money back. Doesn't matter what a customer orders your tip is based on your service not my dinner price alone. Kevin definitely needs to find some humility or a different line of work if you think you can treat people poorly because of what they choose to eat out and order based on their appetite. not to mention, I have dirty dishes sitting on my table for an hour. He never came to clean my table. What will be the reason to just leave the dirty dishes on my table as you bust tables all around me. And I was the only black person in the entire bar area so I don't know if it was racism sexism or just pure ignorance, but it definitely was hostile and unnecessary. read more

I was out in Mississipi a little over a year ago and one of the things I loved getting there was creamy Cajun style pasta with seafood. Whenever me and my wife go on a lunch date on a weekend, we always go to mom n pop owned places. I haven't been to chain restaurants in years because a lot of them get bad Yelp ratings, but this was the only restaurant around me where I could find the closest thing to Cajun style pasta I was looking for. Again, I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away by this location. Although their Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne isn't good as ones I had in Mississippi, it was surprisingly good. The breadstick, which I thought was a sausage at first, was lightly crispy and soft on the inside and went well with the pasta. I also saw on a YouTuber I follow that the Brew Pub Pretzels with Beer Cheese dip was good, and he was right. The pretzels were on a different level and so light, not like the typical heavy/dense pretzels they make in most bars. Although I didn't care much for the cheese dip, I appreciate they use REAL cheese. Surprisingly, the pretzels were better with the honey dijon mustard they also give you. Sat down 40 minutes ago... still no food. Terrible service. Food orders all around us coming out wrong and parsed into one or two entrees. All meals should come together per table. Manager is hoking and joking with multiple staff behind the partition. Loud and obvious, no possible way anything productive is being accomplished. This Applebees used to be very good. Ordered the unlimited food an hour before closing and the staff took 30 minutes to make wings with little to no customers in location. Carmen (manager) gave us attitude and tried to talk smart with us telling us to come earlier and the kitchen was cleaning when the restaurant was still open and we had 30 minutes left until midnight. A group of 4 went in a good mood and we came out of the restaurant upset and down because we were looking forward to the food. My wife and I had a great experience at this restaurant. We arrived at about 8:45 pm. They have a good late night happy hour. We enjoyed the spinach dip and the onion rings. We also shared a shrimp dinner. Everything was delicious. Our server( Sam), was very friendly and attentive. The staff that we encountered were very nice and helpful. By far the absolute worst Applebees I've EVER been to. Went to try the monthly special drinks and our waitress seemed very nice but the place seemed very short staffed and it took us AN HOUR just to get ONE frikking drink!!!! There weren't even a lot of ppl there!!! Surprisingly our appetizers came somewhat quick but we closed our tab immediately. She mentioned there was only one bartender and I glance at the bar to see the girl making drinks over there laughing having a good ol time with ppl while all of us are waiting forever for one drink. The people at the table next to us got there at the same time as us and they left right away. This place used to be fun but it's gone so downhill. Going to switch to getting my monthly drinks from chilis since I haven't had an issue at that one nearby. Oh and when we finally got our drinks they were made sloppy and even tasted WARM!!! Can't even make hot finger food. Had 2 orders of boneless wings. Came to the table cold and soggy. Sent them back for hot order of wings. When the waitress brought the waitress brought the new order back they were also cold and soggy. When we spoke with manager about concers with the quality of the food all he could say was "I'm sorry about that" and waled away. When the check came there was 4 orders of the wings and extra order of fries that were all sent back. After notifying the waitress 3 times about the extra charges it was finally removed. read more

On 01/16/26, nine friends in total went to Applebee's to celebrate. There was an expected wait for the table, no problem. What was not expected was the 30-minute wait for drinks (water and pop). Initially they were trying to have the trainee be our server. We ended up getting Sophia. I ordered a Mango Margarita and once it was brought to the table (in a martini glass), they left me the shaker to refill my own glass. Sophia was pleasant and apologetic, but we were unhappy with her service. For example, she brought drink refills and left our used, empty cups on the table. We had to ask her to remove dirty items. I changed my order BEFORE she left the table, and the salmon dish still came out, and I had to have it removed from the tab. I ordered the trio appetizer with boneless buffalo wings. Not only were they fried hard, but the "buffalo" was a sauce on the side. A friend ordered the Whiskey Burger and asked for two side orders of jalapeños. The chef took it upon himself to grill them on put them on the burger. Upon further inspection, they sent the burger out with half a bun on the bottom. When the manager Carmen, came to the table and my friend explained what the problem was, Carmen apparently thought it was funny because she burst into laughter. Once it was time to bring out the cake, Sophia set our cake in the middle of our dirty table with the 8 saucers and plastic ware. We emptied our own table by placing the dirty dishes on the empty table next to us. Our experience was only good because we enjoyed each other! Although Sophia did not deserve it, we all tipped her. The Broccoli was just blanched in hot water and not cooked enough! My wife ordered the Chinese Chicken salad with the chicken crispy! I came with a friend during their Happy Hour (3-6PM or 9PM to close) for their half-off apps. We ordered the Boneless Wings, Chicken Wonton Tacos, and the Southwest Chicken bowl. The total cost of the meal was around $30 so it was pretty worth it considering how full we were afterwards! The Chicken Wonton Tacos have always been a hit for me, but it NEEDS the lime in order to have any depth in flavor. The chicken is slightly sweet and the crunch of the crispy wonton exterior is always gonna do it for me. The Sweet Asian Chile sauce has always been a crowd favorite with my friends, but the quality of the boneless wing wasn't as great as it usually is. It tasted extremely overcooked and was a bit hard to bite into- even for the larger pieces. The southwest chicken bowl looked absolutely delicious on the menu, and looked almost just as beautiful in person. But the taste was a bit of a let down. The first few bites were amazing, but I feel like we were just shoveling it down alongside the apps because we knew we were paying for it. There was a slight bitter taste in the bowl that I couldn't quite place, so I doubt I'll order it again. The service was very good and not overbearing at all. 10/10 for our waiter! This is my third time at this location, and every experience was different from the last. Overall, I'd probably return to this location for the happy hour deals or the dollaritas, but definitely order some of the appetizers with a side sauce of skepticism. read more

That said, the service was really good. The staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of, which definitely helped make up for the food. Usually I go to the apple bees in downtown Riverside and I ALWAYS get food poisoning so I was nervous to visit this location. HOWEVER, my experience was beautiful. Nathan the host allowed my kids to color while we ordered and eat so they weren't bored and the kind waitress Jackie was so sweet. Ordered takeout for the fam and it was pretty disappointing. We ordered sirloin steaks, ribeye steak and broccoli, green beans, fries, and mashed potatoes. First off our steaks were not cooked to our request, we asked for medium and they were well done lol. Good steak was surprised but not what we requested, the veggies were awful and very little so we ended up cooking extra broccoli to make up for it! Smh but my wife said the mashed potatoes were surprisingly good. Side salads were warm not crisp at all had to put them in the fridge for a while before we could enjoy them. Where do I start? I have been coming to this Applebees for the last 6 years, and I do not say that lightly. I mean I have been coming here for 6 years every other weekend without a break. Now I wouldn't say that the food is 5 star restaurant quality, but the Drinks are FANTASTIC, and the atmosphere is truly unmatched. From the music, to the amazing staff, even to the very clean restrooms that I visit frequently. The restaurant has had improvements year after year but I would like to Highlight some people that have truly made my years of coming here absolutely special. For one, I would love to say that I would not have been as loyal as I am to this place if it wasn't for their previous manager named Patrick (Patty Daddy). He was always so warm and welcoming and made sure that every guest was well taken care of. After his unfortunate departure we had the pleasure of being helped by the Amazing, Fun , and Kind guy named Tevin. He along with all the weekend night staff are truly an example of what Applebees is all about. Thanks to associates like them, I will continue to return to this location and stumble out of the bar area every other weekend until my kidneys tell me otherwise.
