Applebees is pretty much the same everywhere, but honestly, I find us going here more and more often, because of the value. Going out to eat just keeps getting more and more unaffordable, but you can go here and get a 2 for $25 and get an app and two entrees for that price. That's literally McDonald's regular prices (although you can do a little bit better if you have the McD's app but whatever). Service is always friendly and quick. And I've never had issues with the food. Add drinks and you'll drive up the price quick but they aren't weak, so even that's a value. So yeah, if you want a sit down, clean, yummy restaurant experience that's a solid step up from fast food, for just a couple bucks more, go here! I hope Applebees stays the way they are because normal people can afford to eat here, unlike most places in Napa. So even if the food is only worth 4.8/5 stars, I'd leave 7/5 stars if I could based on the price and friendly service. read more

You can tell the place is understaffed. Took forever for us to receive service. The staff there looks like they hate working. They seemed to be annoyed by anything you ask. Let's not forget the new help they hired. The rudeness was on a next level. The manager was very helpful, we seen her more than our server. When we arrived at Applebees before entering the door Jack, the hostess had the front door opened and greeted us. That was a nice surprise. Jack seat us among a bigger birthday party group. It was a bit louder than I was hoping so I went and ask Jack if we could be sat in a quieter station. He understood and was very accommodating. I do not remember our servers name but she was great! I ordered the quesadilla burger with fries. The fries did not come out hot with the meal so once we told her and she replace them pretty quickly. I was surprised how quickly. When leaving the restaurant, Jack was just as friendly as when we arrived. So courteous! You just do not see that anymore. I would highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Recently (see previous review) we had a great visit here on imola thanks to Jen the bartender. So we came back on a Thursday 1/30/25 with family (see receipt) and it was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS in every way possible. BAD food which took FOREVER to arrive. when it did arrive part of my burger was extremely Undercooked, raw and stone cold fries. Immediately showed aisha our server. It was like kind of an annoyance to her, but she had it remade. Aisha kept disappearing. To be fair she did have way too many tables but you could tell she was burned out or just didn't care. My remade food showed up, was overdone, burnt ends on the meat. Hot but Stale dried out fries. I always's friend's husband didn't get the ranch that he asked for and the table behind us didn't get their food. It took a turn for the worse, in about 10 minutes for me to get extremely nauseous. Which continued into the next day with several trips to the bathroom. The table behind us was getting really upset because they didn't get some of the food that they ordered and their server went ahead and took that off their bill and still gave them the food. Meanwhile, we had to pay for bad food, bad service that made me sick Restaurant wasn't even that busy on a Thursday. WOULD GIVE zero STARS if possible. I looked for the manager, but he wasn't around. In fact nobody was around. Then i kid-you-not, seven or eight employees came out from the back to sing happy birthday for the table next to us, then disappeared again. nobody even cared about our experience. We go here so often and love it! This review is actually for the bartender/waitress Jennifer. What an employee they have in her! We watched her through our whole dinner, and she not only came up and talked with us for quite a while she did it with many tables and many people at the bar. I have never been to an Applebees although one location is not that far from me. I was vacationing in Napa Valley and decided to drop in. First off they serve my favorite Pinot Noir. On the suggestion of the bar server, I ordered the Cajun Chicken and shrimp. It was delicious. I accidentally left my purse there and called them to ask if they had it. I went back the following day and ordered the riblets. Yucky. I don't recommend this dish. read more

It was terrible! The service, the timing the food, the ambience- oh my goodness. They got our order wrong THREE TIMES, our food was delayed several times, and we all left with stomach aches. We order the boneless wings, they were stone hard rocks that looked absolutely atrocious. The chicken and broccoli Alfredo were soggy and NOT even mixed. The mashed potatoes were watery and not mixed well. Our burgers were dripping in grease. The macaroni and cheese - JUST marconi. We needed extra napkins just to handle a little bit of a burger. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings- were ok. Not great even still. I can't say anything else good about this dining experience, which is just terribly disappointing I'm writing this review 2 hours later and my food still hasn't digested. I'd like to leave a review for the Applebee's in Napa, especially for the owners. On a Sunday during lunchtime, from around noon to 2 PM, the restaurant gets extremely busy, and there just aren't enough staff members working. The employees who are there look visibly stressed, and the overall conditions of the restaurant are unacceptable. For example, the men's bathroom door doesn't even have a lock. I hope this feedback helps the owners improve the business. read more

The one star is for the manager! The young staff they hired are working hard because they are understaffed. Stations are closed and with many open tables they are not seating people because there were only two servers and a bar tender. The manager was nowhere to be found until I asked.for her. Only one area around the bar was open. 3groups were waiting to be seated. In the open area, 3 tables were open-two needed cleaning to seat and one large table was clean and could hv been used. She said they are working on cleaning the tables. Understandable. The restaurant was not that busy. I asked her why she is not seating anyone in the bigger table, she said they only seat larger groups. They had a group of 4 but they can not seat them at the bigger table that was not reserved just a waste of table space. She had no explanation why she would make people wait when she can take care of one group immediately and make use of the table to make her customers happy. She said she can not because the table is for larger group. We were seated later! The food arrived shortly after we ordered. Our server was wonderful she was fast and worked so hard, checking on us and all the other tables. Even the bartender was running to get the food and make drinks. As we were leaving she the manager seated 4 people in the large table. Not sure why the other party of 4 had to wait so long and the manager did not seat them at the large table when I asked! ! Dani makes this establishment run smooth. Excellent customer service and way about her. She takes the time to greet you and is genuinely a natural and AWESOME! She isn't just like this with Customers but treats her employees with kindness and respect! Very few people like Dani still exsist! When there was a concern brought to Dani's attention she listened and was quick to resolve the issue. We frequent here based on Dani working at the times we go.
