When I come in any Apple bee's my experience is always the same. Service was good with way to many attempts up sale my meal in my opinion yet my partner cant resist to get extra "goodies". The wait staff comes back with our over sweetened lemonades and deep fried mozzarella cheese sticks that tasted very generic and not very hot, go to a local fast food joint to get way cheaper and fresher appetizers and then come here if you must. I had the "take any two seasonal favorites" with Garlic Rosemary Chicken Pasta and a 4 oz. Blackened Sirloin. I asked for medium well being most of the time when its well done it turns out dry and it came back well done but to my surprise it was not dry at all but was way over seasoned. I was not bothered not that much yet for others I cant say.. The Garlic Rosemary Chicken Pasta was just awful I really could not eat this being that chicken looked and tasted like it was frozen or at least precooked in the kitchen and thrown in the fridge for later. I had them take this back and I explained why. I thought I would give them one more shot and I ordered the lemon shrimp fettuccine. After some time has past I was told that they where waiting on the "raw shrimp to cook" I felt that this waitress was acting like I was wrong in her own sneaky way, also shrimp is one of the fastest meats to cook I thought. I get my dish back and nothing has changed in the quality of the food. The pasta sauce was more like soup, the taste was bland and there was 3 tiny shrimps on the pasta.. 3 small shrimps took that long?? I know that this place is no 5 star restaurant but with the cooks keep cutting corners and the wait staff lying to there customers. This was my last visit at all apple bees after being a guest for numerous occasions. We arrived for a birthday celebration for which we had reservations. It was a large group and the place was very busy. The service was exceptional considering the busyness of the day, however, the food was crap and it was probably the most expensive empty stomach I've ever had. Took the crappy food home with me in hopes that I might be able to salvage a meal from it. The rare steak was actually raw and purple in the middle and the mushrooms were barely warmed. That is not rare that is raw. The baked potato was so cold and hard the butter not even melted and the cheese was still cold and hard. Since it was a birthday celebration I kept my mouth shut paid my bill and left. Had I been asked about my food they would have known that it was crap, however, I was never asked. read more

I used the online order system to buy lunch for my team. The system is self-explanatory and very easy to use. One of the items ordered was a chicken fajita roll up. After selecting the roll-up, I was given the option to add bacon to the roll-up for an extra fee which I clicked the box to say yes. Upon receiving the order, my employee noticed that the bacon was not on the roll-up but rather on the side. I called to inquire about the sandwich and was told by the manager " oh they just probably put it on the side because they didn't know how you wanted it. Here are the things wrong with the statement.... As a manager, please do not tell your customer what probably happened instead speak from a position that indicates you actually know what your employees are doing! Two, if you are unsure of a customer's wishes contact them using the information provided by the customer to submit the order. Three when a customer calls with concerns about your service or product, listen with empathy and use that customer's feedback to improve your processes and create training opportunities. Four, ask what you can do to create a more positive customer experience or offer to correct the order. Things that went well:Overall quality of food was good and service of the waitstaff was great. read more

If I could rate today's experience 0 stars I would. I have been to this Applebee's location multiple times and had great service but this afternoon was definitely not the case. To start off with, the waitress came to our table to take our order and did not even allow me to order a drink before going on to the next persons order. We then waited 20 minutes for our drinks, 1 of which being a cocktail so that's fine, but the other two were to be a soda and a frozen lemonade. The soda came, still no lemonade. So we asked the waitress about it and she says "oh you didn't order it." I then piped up for my grandmother who did in fact order it, and let her know she did tell her that's what she would like and she pointed to the picture on the menu even. Maybe had she been in less of a hurry to take our order she would've gotten that in the first place. The lemonade finally comes 5 minutes later and it's not even the one she ordered. Oh well, it's something right? So another 20 minutes go by, the table next to us that arrived 15 minutes after us has already had their appetizers, and is on to their entrees while we are still waiting for our appetizers. Lo and behold 40 minutes after taking our orders our appetizers come out. Finally. Oh and what's that? Our main courses right after. Cool. Because someone that orders appetizers totally wants it with their main course. When I brought it up to the waitress, she stated "oh I told them to bring those out first, they didn't listen." Ok, but you are our server, wouldn't you question why your table doesn't have their appetizers yet considering you've walked by and made eye contact with at least 2 of us at least 3 out of the 7 or 8 times you've walked by without checking in? I'm sorry, but we tried to be understanding and patient but this has been completely unacceptable and I will not be back, nor will my family for a while. We stop here every year on our way home to Vancouver WA. from a Seahawks game. Their service is always excellent with their amazing food and drinks. Monique and the staff make us feel like we are all family. We had the 2 for $25.I had the Bourbon Street Chicken + Shrimp! OMG it was the best flavor, so tender and delicious. I was able to bring 1/2 of it home so will have for lunch today. We shared the Spinach and Artichoke dip and we both loved it.!! The drinks are always amazing. Had dinner and it was very disappointing again. The last 3 meals here were terrible and got the bill discounted. Maybe that says something about the quality of their meals. I am honestly stumped. I cannot understand how a chain restaurant like this can have absolutely the WORST service! First, the host walked up and did not greet us, just grabbed some menus and said "Follow me". We sat for at least 10 minutes until someone finally walked by and asked us about drinks, they also took our dinner order. So I guess the waitress was just curious what we wanted to drink as we eventually got one of three drinks and after flagging down another employee we got our other two drinks (although not the drinks we ordered). We finally had enough and walked out before our food arrived (if it ever did) and went to a better restaurant. This place is a joke, no leadership, no customer service and no clue how to work with customers. I remain stumped as how this place is still open. FYI there is a decent Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden within walking distance of this dining disaster. read more

I have in the past had horrible service at Applebee's, so I didn't go there for several years because of it. I decided to give them another chance and was very happy with the service I received! They were friendly and attentive, food was good. They have redeemed themselves for me and I will most likely be going back. read more

I know that a lot of people like Applebee's, but as for there check out, it sucks. I had 2 gift cards and a rewards card that I tried to pay with. One gift card would only charge $10 the other $8.33. Then I tried to use the rewards card and it would not work. The food server told me that you have to have them use it but that it didn't work at the table. On the other side of our visit, the food was good and the service was ok. I just thought everyone should be aware of my experience. read more

I'd never been here but met some friends for 1/2 off happy hour hoping to have a good time, and left feeling like they pulled a fast one on me. I walked in and told the host who seated me I'd like to see the happy hour menu, which she told me was at the table. After I sat down I pulled the menu out and started looking at it and compared it to the regular menu to see what the half off prices for appetizers would be. After I saw what the prices were, I closed the regular menu and kept studying the happy hour menu. When the waitress came to take my order, she asked if I'd like to start with a perfect margarita and I said yes, assuming that it was the same one as the house margarita on the happy hour menu. A few drinks and an appetizer later, we got the bill and were surprised to see that the total was so high. When we asked the waitress, she said "Oh well I asked if you wanted the perfect margarita (which is the larger one...which I wasn't informed of) and you said yes. If I had known you had wanted the happy hour house margarita, I would have charged you for the smaller one." Mind you, I was holding and referring to the happy hour menu the whole time we were ordering. And to top it all off, their drinks were also so painfully sweet all of our teeth were hurting when we left. All in all, I guess if you're looking for an expensive way to get a cavity, this is a great place to go. read more

My husband and I went there yesterday afternoon for lunch. We were startled by the hostess who opened the door for us. I would rather do that myself. She asked if we wanted to be seated at the bar. We chose our own table. The service was less than I expected. The food was also less than I expected. my husband 's club sandwich was sloppy and did not look like a club sandwich. No choices for vegetarians and the food all looked like it came out of a package. The coffee was terrible. Overpriced and under served and we will not be back. We had to wait too long for our check as it was not very busy. read more

Its decent. We paid for a mac and cheese for my 2yo and it was straight from a box of kraft mac and cheese.

This is by far the worst Applebees. But, willing to give them a chance. I have now been there seven times. Each time the service was worst the last. Here's an overview of my last and final visit. We ordered the two for twenty. Not a bad deal. But the appetizer we selected was the boneless buffelo wings, hot. So we waited....and waited....and waited.. About 30 minutes later we were given cold wings with the hot spice that should have been mixed with the sause, tossed in the middle, dry and cakey. We didn't say anything since the waitress was busy eating with the manager at another table. Then, we waited...and waited....and waited. The waitress never checked on us, but it did appear the manager and her were having a nice meal. So, after about 20 minutes, we did get the order. Surprise!!! It was correct. We fininshed, and waited for the check. Meanwhile, the waitress sat with the manager. Finally, I stopped another server and aksed for the check. Then I was told about the comuputer thing on the table that I pushed to the end since I didn't know what it was. We checked out....no tip. I will not be going to that Applebee's again. I will make the drive to the one on Sleater-Kinney. Each time I go to that one....not a single problem or issue. Shows you that an effective manager makes all the difference. read more

We had a late lunch (1:30-2:00 pm) on Tuesday Jan. 19,2016 the restaurant was not busy so we got good service and the high-lite of the meal was the really hot, hot platters the sirloin steak was served on I ordered rare and it was a little tough my husband order med. rare and his was wonderful. Two things turned a great meal into a bad experience at this restaurant. There is a computer contraption on the table which the waitress was showing us how to look at the desserts so while waiting for our food we were messing around with this thing only to find out when we got the bill there was a $2.00 (that's right Two Dollars) charge for using this thing. These either need a very large notice that there is a charge for touching or remove them from the table. Talk about a sting that surely was one. I have been going to this Applebee's for well over 2 years now. It used to be great you walk in get a seat relatively quick and service with a smile and they were always willing to wrk with you. What true service should be. I don't know if this place is under new management or they just don't care anymore, but I had my worst experience in a restaurant that I have ever had yesterday. First they could find a place for us to get service. Mind you that it was just me and my wife. Then the beat they could come up with was for us to sit in the bar area. So we take a seat get comfortable and her come the bar tender to take our order. She ask for our ID. My wire is in her mid thirties and I am in my mid forties. My wife did not have her ID and they said they had to move us because it was policy to ask for an ID. Oh we were not ordering drinks either just food. Then we moved and sat there for around 5 to 10 minutes in a restaurant that was dang near empty and not one server came to the table. The bar tender could have work with us a talked to a manager to make an exception but instead they wanted to inconvenience the customer. So we left went next door to the Olive Garden and receive the service that everyone should get when going to a restaurant. I will not go to this Applebee's again. read more
