Just ok. Had the All-You-Can-Eat Boneless Wings, Bibles, & Chicken Tenders. The boneless wings were too breaded; you can hardly taste the chicken. The rib let's were ok; not much meat on the bones. The Coleslaw was good, nice and crisp, not too sweet. The fries were just ok, flaccid, no flavor. The service was ok. 1-30-2025: We came here for a late dinner after the magic show at Marvyn's. We were surprised that the restaurant was full but the manager cleaned up a table for us as we waited. Our waiter Daniel provided superb customer service. We ordered off the 2 for $26 menu, which came with salad, chicken tenders, & fries. We ordered iced teas with lemon. Everything came out right away and Daniel checked in on us frequently. The salad was fresh & served with ranch dressing. The chicken tenders were juicy and the coating was tasty & crunchy. Sat at the bar and could no believe that they removed all prices from their drink menu! I asked the bartender where the prices were and she looked and said oh, there not there? It ridiculous that Applebees thinks people don't want to know what they are spending! And it puts the customer in the awkward position of asking how much something is. Haven't been to Applebees in a while, but this place was right next to the Courtyard so it was time to walk on over. We received a friendly greeting and were seated quickly by the hostess. Our server was Daniel and he was friendly, efficient, and professional. We ordered late Happy Hour apps- pretzels with cheese (), and mozzarella sticks. Our salads were good, and my double crunch shrimp was not bad. The shrimp wasn't as crunch as I liked, but the fries were good. Daniel kept our table clear and our drinks full. I have been here a few times in the past couple of months because it is the only food within walking distance of the hotel at which I'm staying. The food is just fine. I don't think anything there is fresh, but instead off the back of a Sysco truck, but it is tasty enough for what it is. The price is right, service is good, and you can get a drink too. My girlfriend and I went here while staying the night before a long roadtrip, we only chose it as no other places were open next to our hotel. We ordered 2 drinks and the 2 for $25 deal. Both of our food was awful and unfortunately both got food poisoning. Service there is pretty slow on top of the food clearly having something wrong with it. We had a party of 11. We placed our order finally but when then food was served all but one was served. After 20 minutes and 2 parents questioning the server the dinner was still not found. By the time we finished the manager was bringing out my grand daughter's dinner. An apology would have been nice ( but so would being served all together). Went to the location last night, waited for my server for some time, when she showed up, seemed to have an attitude and was very short with me. Tonight, I decided to go it's close to Residence. Tonight easy to seat, waiter seemed nice, my food was fast. The waiter came by once to check on me, and then nowhere to be seen. I just received a HORRIBLE ribeye steak from Applebee's on Frank Sinatra. I just paid $55.00 including tip for this undercooked, chewy tough fatty steak. I called them to see if they could do something to my situation better, a small gift card, a different steak but no. Madison tried to help, went to the back to find my order and the manager picked up, looking for bear. Abrupt, no help , no effort. 3/5 Applebee's is said to be an affordable place to eat dinner with friends and family. But I would give it a 3/5 since there were some elements missing. Service was great our waiter was friendly and constantly was checking on us. Ambiance as well was good. We went on a Friday night around 8pm. It was busy and our food came out fast. But I will say that I was disappointed on the lack of flavor our food was missing. I love artichoke and spinach dip but ours didn't have any flavor and as well as the quesadilla. I felt like I was just eating a tortilla. I would say out of this meal I just enjoyed the boneless wings and the fries. Only reason I went here...Stayed at the Marriott and it's across the street. And it smelled like barf when we walked in. Next the hostess sits us and there's a bug crawling on the table and she just laughs while I kill it....exciting. Now time for the microwave food. We came in with a part of 5 which needed special seating due to a couple people in are party with new disabilities. We tried the bar thinking the bar stool might work, but while everyone gave it a noble effort, if didn't. It was a Saturday night, and they were busy, but they were able to juggle some things around and found a table for us that worked. I knew they went out of way to accommodate us and we really appreciated it. We're lucky that everyone in our group was good natured about everything and ended up having a really good time interacting with our server and everyone else who helped us. That alone made the experience a positive one. We were partially there to socialize and didn't feel rushed at all. The food and drinks were on par with what you expect from Applebee's which is really all we could ask for. Overall, once we got settled, which really was our fault as we're learning maneuver with our new limitation, we had a really nice evening. read more

We came here because they were the few places open after 9 pm in Palm Desert. The place was packed but 1/3 of the tables were blocked due to a lack of staff. We decided to go sit at the bar instead of a 30-40 mins wait. The bartender seemed to be overwhelmed and kept complaining about how tired and overworked she was. One of the servers or runners finally took our order. When I went to the restroom, the place was messy and had a strong nasty odor. Someone had vomited all over one of the stalls. I went out and told one of the servers and she just gave me a frustrating look but didn't do or call anyone to clean it up. Surprisingly, the food came out fast and hot (temp-wise), but it was a moot point after the unpleasant restroom mess experience. read more

The place was decent. The drinks didn't have much alcohol. (It was happy hour) The food was alright. Two steaks, artichoke dip, salad, steak with shrimp. The quantities were great : server was helpful and showing us the menu and recommendations We were seated quickly--after I had said I'll wait outside because the wait was supposed to be 10-15minutes--it was less! Was in Palm Desert for the weekend for my late husband's memorial service with his family. Stayed at the Courtyard next door and upon arrival in town, had dinner here with his uncle. Very nice restaurant. Very good service and a really helpful waitress who constantly checked on us and made sure our drinks were refilled. I had nachos and uncle had the Quesadilla Burger and fries. Our meals were delicious and very well prepared. I even took the rest of mine to go with me to the hotel since I couldn't finish it all! I got to enjoy it a second time! I recommend this restaurant for your dining pleasure whenever you go to Palm Desert...or to any Palm Desert Yelpers who may see this. read more

I sat alone for an HOUR and A HALF, at the BAR, inches from her FACE, while she ignored me, with only 5 other patrons at the bar and but a handful of other customers in the whole place. She listened to me choke, let me starve, never offered me a menu or even a drink of water. It was beyond belief!! Any business that allows this degree of Unprofessionalism deserves to go OUT of business, and I hope they do. I am a visitor staying at the hotel next door and was planning on trying out all of their dishes during my 3-week staycation. The smell of vomit hit us like a freight train as soon we walked in. The foul smell lingered throughout the whole sitting areas. Disgusting & unbearable. Most of the places around were closed & we decided to give the place a try. Food was ok, but definitely the oil was old/overused. We got instant gas after eating fried foods. Chicken & shrimp skillet was drenched in unsavory butter. Nothing felt like complete food & everything tasted like disoriented pile of this & that. Classic Applebee's food always hits the spot. We stopped in for lunch on a Monday and enjoyed our experience including the friendly service. For drinks - the iced tea was on point and perfectly brewed. We didn't try any alcohol, but they have a full bar and beers on draft. For lunch - the crispy chicken tender salad was a nice treat. The chicken was hot and crispy and the honey mustard dressing (served on the side) was perfectly paired. If you don't like honey mustard, I'd ask for a side of bbq sauce and that would have been delicious too. The salad is served with a warm garlic breadstick that was just like an Olive Garden breadstick. Hubby had the chicken Caesar salad and finished the whole plate, so he must have enjoyed that too. Ample free parking, friendly service , and fresh food. If we are ever back in the Palm Desert area, we will be back ! read more

Showed up at 11:30 and the doors were locked! Their hours are 11am-12 midnight and they were locked! People still inside but doors locked, I wanted to order food to go and couldn't, why have hours posted til midnight and you lock the doors before!
