Everything was fine, but nothing made me think, "I'd come back for that." Another thing that surprised me was how empty it was. Other than the ten people in our group, there were only a handful of other diners, despite it being an early lunch on a Tuesday in mid-July in Traverse City. The service was friendly and pleasant. The whitefish was very bland and disappointing. The shrimp Alfredo was good, and the scallops were mediocre. The broccolini was tough, and the risotto was mushy. We had someone in our party with a food allergy who let the server know early on that they couldn't have dairy, and we were told the scallops could be made without butter. After a long wait, when the food finally came out, everyone's meals arrived except the scallops. We were then told they had to remake them because they had used butter. So that person had to sit there for an additional 15 minutes while the rest of the party ate. Then they brought out the side dish that had been ordered specifically because it didn't contain butter, and somehow that was also cooked in butter. Overall, the food was mid at best, it took a long time to come out, and we also had to wait a while for our check even though it wasn't that busy.
