We went out to Applebees in Vallejo tonight for the Sizzling butter pecan blondie an absolute favorite of mine for over 20yrs! I was hesitant to come because of the poor service in Pinole but my goodness could Pinole learn a thing or two from Vallejo! So we got in around 550pm and I saw the happy hour menu but knew I had to order quickly. We got 2 mucho beach break drinks and they were The food, service, ambience and service were 10/10. Our server was Lucas was fantastic! Well done Vallejo. Also, the manager came over twice just to be sure we were enjoying our meal. I can't wait to return. oh btw, the blonde shrunken drastically but still a favorite !!

By now, I think most diners know the equation when coming to Applebee's. Will it be the best quality food you've ever eaten? No. Is it satisfactory and priced affordably? Yes. That's undoubtedly the trade off. And this model fills that niche better than most. The chain in recent years has shuttered underperforming stores, but the location here in Vallejo remains. I had a promo offer through my Wyndham Rewards membership to eat here. But ended up misunderstanding the offer and missing out on the deadline. After joining the Club Applebee's Rewards program however, I was gifted with a free appetizer and decided to give it a whirl. Ordered take out. My free appetizer was the Chicken Quesadilla and my entree the Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders. If I were to return, I would not order either again. Both reminded me of cruise ship food. Not bad mind you, just nothing memorable in the least. The one-time free appetizer however, valued at about $13 wasn't to be dismissed. So, it wasn't a bad gamble at all. You may wish to join the program to claim your reward also? My order was ready on time, but I wasn't acknowledged for a minute or so when standing at the To Go station. Sorta felt like I needed to bust out a few jumping jacks to get 'em to notice me at first, lol. Little awkward there. The chain has always pushed the alcohol upsale from it's beginnings, this visit no different. Saw on the overhead bar menu for example where they even have liquor to go that's sold for consumption & portability out of plastic pouches or baggies. Yikes, that might could be a good thing or a bad thing I'm guessing? The men's restroom was clean and in order. Not sure I would hurry back anytime soon. But, I will quickly agree and reaffirm that Applebee's does provide value first and foremost. And this idea was driven home in spades by the steady stream of patrons entering the restaurant at around the same time as me.

I wish there was a location closer to me. Service was great and can't get enough of them wangs. I'll visit again when I'm near the area.

Decent burger ... fries were old and hard .

Was craving a burger today ... decided to try Applebee's burger deals the $9.99 burger was just that ... barely . A little bit greasy in the fries had been sitting you could tell because they were hard as rocks ... still tipped the server well . Don't expect anything special pretty sure the goal is to get you in there to get your drinking ! Lol

Just visited Applebees Vallejo wherein there was an "All you can eat" special promotion! Particularly noteworthy: The food choices were delicious and served with smiles and courtesy!!! No wonder lots of customers tend to return to this neighborhood wonder!!! Strongly recommend frequent visits by anyone and especially "families" for a warm welcoming environment and great foods and drinks!!! "Eating Good in the Neighborhood"

The restaurant had nice decoration and was generally clean. The service was also relatively good. I got the 2 for $25 and the onion rings were nice and crunchy. They served it with bbq sauce which is questionable. I got the lime chicken entree and it was alright. Chicken wasn't dry but it wasn't juicy either. Rice was under seasoned and kinda tasted like uncle ben's rice. The tortilla strips on the bottom was a nice touch though. Overall, average experience of what I'd expect from applebees.

Four-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders

I ordered a 4 cheese Mac & cheese w/ honey chicken tenders. Looks nice, but taste wise I could not finish the meal. The chicken tenders and the pasta were ok individually, but the honey glaze from the chicken tenders was too much to the point it was pooling into my pasta and changed the flavor of the pasta completely. I did not like this mix of flavor. Perhaps it is just personal preference that I did not enjoy this meal, but in general, it would have received higher ratings of the chicken was plated separately from the pasta. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe I just chose the wrong item to order

Sunday afternoon 2 for $26 deal. We both got 6 oz top sirloin mines with mashed and broccoli. He got fries and onion rings and we chose the two Caesar salad as our appetizer. Asked for it To brought all together. We also got a flight of margaritas (lime, strawberry, passion fruit, and mango). Place is hit or miss. My steak was not medium rare thank goodness for A1 steak sauce to make it edible for me. Overall it's an ok place for me when we want to get away from fast food.

Tuesday 7:30pm. $9.99 Burger with Fries on Tuesdays for a Limited time, I believe. But it's a good deal considering prices on everything is up. The host and our server were nice and friendly. The burgers took about 25 mins from the point we ordered. On a Tuesday evening, the restaurant wasn't busy. They had about of empty tables. The burger and fries were good specially the waffle fries which was an upgrade for $1.99. In my opinion, the meal was a good deal.

I've been sleeping on Applebee's, man! I recently started eating salads (I know, I know...) and I'm obsessed with theirs. That Oriental Chicken Salad baybeee! It's sooo good. The portion is huge -- definitely enough for two... but I usually don't share. I want that thang all to myself, lol! It's a perfect snack for later when you can't finish it in one sitting hehe. The 2 for $25 deal goes crazy. Two entrees and an appetizer? You just can't beat it. We usually do to-go, but I've been so impressed I had to dine in one time for the one time. I'd give this review 5 stars if we only talking about the salad. Otherwise, service and other food options keep it at a 3.

My favorite lunch order is the Chicken Caesar Wrap - perfect ratio of chicken, lettuce, cheese, dressing, and croutons. The wrap is always well constructed and never falls apart mid-consumption. When I moved away from Vallejo, I thought about this wrap often. For dinner, the wings are always a solid choice - korean bbq, bbq, buffalo - all equally good. The wings are a good size, an even mix of drums and flats, the chicken is always moist and the sauce ratio is perfect. Best wings in Solano County. The M.I.B.C. Burger is another favorite, always cooked as requested, the meat is super flavorful and the toppings - cheese, onion, sauce, and arugula fit perfectly between the brioche bun. This is also served with fries - always served the right amount of crisp. For beers, I prefer to drink the War Bond. However, I can vouch for the fact that all of the beer here is good. Also, all of the staff here are super friendly and helpful. Best neighborhood bartenders, best views of the sunset. We are lucky to have this spot in Vallejo.

The onion rings were good too, although I wish they used the same batter as the fish. The food wasn't served quite as hot as I would have preferred, and they were pretty conservative with the condiments. That may be intentional given the location and the likelihood of non-customers helping themselves if everything was left on the tables. I asked whether the beets in the beet salad were freshly roasted or canned, and I was told they were fresh, so I ordered it. It was good, but something wasn't quite as fresh as I expected. It may have been the walnuts--I think they would have benefited from being toasted--or perhaps another ingredient. I'm very particular when it comes to beet salads. I also ordered the crab and artichoke melt, and this was the star of the meal. It was absolutely divine. Rich, buttery crab and melted cheese layered on thinly sliced, perfectly toasted ciabatta--it was pure comfort food. I was surprisingly full after just two bites, partly because the portions are generous and I'd already made a dent in the beet salad. I skipped drinks this visit, but I'll definitely be back to check out the rotating taps and wine selection. The staff were laid-back, incredibly friendly, and genuinely helpful. The setting is one of the restaurant's biggest draws. The outdoor patio offers a beautiful bird's-eye view of the ferries arriving at Mare Island, making it the perfect place to linger over a meal. Inside, there's a large, inviting bar where it's easy to strike up a conversation with another guest, or you can grab one of the window seats and simply enjoy the waterfront views. I'll definitely be back.

This was his first "real" bowling experience outside of using small, kiddie bowling sets or paper cups. They had 3 (out of 5 or 6?) working lanes and we go there right at opening so we could pick our lane. We made a reservation on Tock and when we arrived they said they were still "setting up". Not sure what that meant, but we waited about 15 minutes while 4-5 people stood behind the bar. They finally let us downstairs to the alleys where we were able to get our bowling shoes and put in a food order. The food selection was not bad, but after leaving, I realized I ordered two kid menu items which come with a drink, entree, and ice cream...but they gave us the entrees and not the drinks or ice cream. When the orders came out, they had also forgotten on of the entrees as well. Good thing I noticed the missing burger, but wompwomp on missing the additional kid meal items. Make sure you check your orders!! The spicy chicken sandwich and the buffalo wings were super slathered in sauce and very salty. The kids burger was burnt and my toddler didn't touch it. The fries and quesadilla were really good though! The kids had a fun time with the bowling experience - they had kid friendly items like a ramp for the ball and bumpers..plus some 7 lbs balls that my 3-year old was able to manage lol. Overall ok experience and a nice thing to do with the family.
