I have a service dog that rides in a stroller now because she's getting old and can't walk very fast. I'm used to being questioned and criticized when I take her into places. The staff at Applebee's today was so welcoming and friendly, though! They even jokingly brought her a kids menu and crayons! It was great for me to be able to enjoy a meal with friends, while knowing that my service dog was welcome and that none of the employees would be questioning me or glaring at me. Possibly worst service I've had - - friend had his order forgotten to be put in - my burger was so salty i got less than halfway through it - friend's food came out burnt - management didn't apologize or acknowledge anything was wrong - when the bill came, they didn't offer to discount/remove the late/burnt items - still tipped 20% because waitstaff was nice but terrible experience overall. glad i don't live in this area. read more

So.. don't get me wrong, the food I might have to give a solid 3 stars but overall I decided to give this Applebee's a 4 star review because the service and timing was in our favor. The place was pretty crowded, we needed to order quickly because the boyfriend would be on his 1 hour break in a few, the server didn't show for some time and I was getting nervous but lo and behold, the server was nice, we ordered, the food actually came out right on time! Now, however of all the Applebee's I have gone to, I have to say this one was disappointing. I ordered the 6oz sirloin with two sides; garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. I asked for medium rare but I pretty much got well done minus a tiny bit of pink. The size however seemed a lot smaller than what 6oz should look like! I ordered the Bourbon Street Steak entree, supposed to be 2 4oz steaks but they looked like measly 2 oz'ers. The bloody Mary's here are stiff and ON POINT. I have been here twice in 2018 and 0x in the 37 years leading up to. My first time was a business meeting and I had a bloody Mary and cheese sticks. Neither myself or my boyfriend have ever tried Applebee's until last night 12/30/21. We both had made up our minds years ago and snubbed it without a shred of evidence. I had thought it to be a "a glorified Denny's" as I said to him and he said he had heard it was "a step below The Olive Garden". It is funny how our mind is made up just by the name of a business, or maybe the exterior of a place, and in most cases, by their marketing campaign. Step up, the greatest marketing tool of all, The Gift Card". We received one from a family member for what would be enough for 2-3 visits but instead we went for the whole shebang - an appetizer, 3 dinners and 2 desserts and spent every penny by leaving the rest to the meal runner as a tip (they help to get your order correct and in a timely manner, so tip them! ) Our runner/waitress came out with our food at the exact time that was promised, 11:45p. She was very friendly and polite and thorough even though we were the last order of the night. I used to work in the restaurant - hospitality industry and believe me, at the end of a long shift, you are mentally sprinting for the door but she still took the time to make sure our order was correct :) The first thing we tried was the Grilled Chicken Wonton Taco appetizers and let me just say this, if I didn't like anything else on the menu, I would still go there any day, any time. THEY WERE THE BOMB!!! A perfect blend of tastes that melted in your mouth. They were incredible and I would have given this review a 5 had the ribs I ordered not came out looking like old beef jerky. Unfortunately, they were bone dry and tasted like they had been in a warmer all night (maybe not the case but...). My guy had a prime rib sandwich with fries and he was very happy with it. I, also, ordered the Strawberry Salad and ate it today. It was also excellent. And our desserts were to die for! The blond brownie was so good that I intended to just try a little bite before dinner and ended up eating the whole thing. It should be called the No Self Control dessert! This is the thing. I can understand the rib situation as it was the last order of the day. No excuse although somewhat understandable ordering that late at night. What makes me look forward to recommending this restaurant to my family and friends was that I had decided to call management to let them know because believe it or not, if they are any good at managing, they will definitely want to know. I believe her name was Michelle or Melanie (?), an Assistant Manager that I spoke with and after hearing me out and checking into it, she offered to make it right, although I hadn't asked or expected it. She sincerely invited us back and we look forward to the next time. We could not have been farther off the mark for formulating the opinions we both had because after actually experiencing their food, the extensive and delicious menu options, speaking with employees, etc. we think that nothing really can compare to Applebee's. An old friend and I met up here for a chance to catch up and have dinner while keeping an eye on Monday Night Football. I think the server decided we outstayed our welcome because our server was great to start, but exceedingly slow as the evening wore on. We placed a Grubhub order and Applebee's forgot to put the fries in the bag. Our Grubhub driver called the location and this location upgraded us to their largest fries for free. Beyond that, the assistant manager, Steven or Steve I believe, personally called me to apologize and notify me that our Grubhub driver was bringing us the fries! Great experience. Judge your self, payed the bill walked away 10 feet realized i forgot the keys from my car, turn around and i see them on the table by the time i get there the waitress that was cleaning the table throws them under the table, i come up and tell her that i forgot the keys, she said "oh i didn't see them take a look" i pic them up right away as i saw where she threw them, and tell her "i saw that" all she did was laughed.
