Hadn't been to your store for several years so when my wife and some friends went and were very happy with everything I decided to do a return. Sunday we went to your restaurant to see for myself. We arrived at approximately 2: 30 on a Sunday afternoon. Place was about 1/3 full so no line. The greeter was sweeping up her area and did not say a word or greet us in any way. I even commented to my wife, is this a seat yourself or do they seat you. No response. We are both handicap with my wife using a cane and I on a walker. Greeter had yet to say a word or welcome us. About a minute later, still not saying a word, she put her broom down and picked up 2 menus and we just followed her to an empty booth. She set the menus down and walked away. Our server followed just a few seconds after we sat down and did greet us and ask about drinks. Our waitress did a bang up job and deserves everything you are paying her. I ordered sweet tea and I think the color wasn't much darker than the water. Weak would be an overstatement. We placed our order and started eating the onion rings which were very good. When our order came out again everything was A+. My wife and I had trouble with the salt shakers and would prefer regular salt shakers rather than the twist and get gravel type provided but that's just us old folks. We enjoyed our meals and I went to the power room only to find the handicap grab rail falling off the wall. Now I am around 300 lb and had to figure a different way to get off the throne. The rest of the meal went well until time to leave. As we were departing I noticed trash and food laying on the floor and the greeter sitting on a chair looking at her phone. I came in for lunch with a few friends. It has been quite a while since I've been to any Applebees. Penny was our server, and she was quite nice and available for us just the right amount. We ordered an appetizer trio, mini tacos, pickle fries, quesadilla. All were good. I really liked the fried pickle fries. I ordered a bourbon mushroom swiss burger... It was juicy and covered with a bourbon sauce, cheese and grilled onions. Very nice flavor. I would order this again. I also ordered onion rings and they were decent, middle of the road. The inside of the restaurant was clean and not too busy. Same kind of decor I saw last time, which is good. Based on this visit, I'd return to this location. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS APPLEBEES GO TO ANY OTHER APPLEBEES BEFORE THIS ONE!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would that how terrible they are. I just moved here and started going to this Applebees back in August of 2024 and had my first issue with them when I ordered a burger and as soon as I took it out of the bag before even opening it, I could see some long thick black hair going completely across my burger touching it. Wasn't my hair because I'm blonde and wasn't my bf's he doesn't have long black hair. It was so disgusting I couldn't even eat it I had to throw it away. I contacted Applebees and the manager reached out to me and sent me out a meal pass to make up for it. So I obviously continued going there to eat and it seemed like after complaining this one time, the cook and workers there had it out for me. It didn't matter how much money I spent there or how many times I went there to their specific Applebees no matter what, my order was messed up and it started to look intentional. The manager Jason emailed me profusely apologizing and saying I wanna make it up to you I can send you another meal pass in the mail for you and I never ended up receiving it. So, I went to order there again to speak with him there about not receiving it and he ended up speaking to me at my car in person once again apologizing and saying "it must of gotten lost in the mail" and that he will leave out a meal pass with my name on it next time I order again.. My stupid ass believed him again and ordered ANOTHER time for the carside worker to tell me there's no meal pass left out for me at all and even confirmed she heard the manager Jason say he would leave it out for me and didn't. Ever since then, I have not gotten ahold of Jason the manager no matter how many times I email or go there and the very last most recent time I ordered, I ordered a 6oz steak and the steak literally looked like a rib patty it was so thick and when I cut into it it was completely raw pink I had to throw the entire meal away and drive all the way back to the Applebees and wait for my order to be remade. While I was there waiting for my order inside, another worker there tried even making jokes about my bad order and said "you should keep the other meal and heat it up later to eat" HOW THE HELL CAN I EAT A THICK UNCOOKED RAW PINK STEAK???? I will never go back here again, I have never had this many issues going to a restaurant EVER!! And the fact that I am consistently getting ignored no matter how much money I spend there or how many times I try and get ahold of Jason the manager i get treated so disrespectfully and ignored. Shows that they could care less about their customers and making everyone happy. Am thinking about even contacting corporate about this place because they need to know how terrible this Applebees is and should be closed down because as I can see, I'm not the only one that feels this way. read more

I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews. Since Applebees revised their menu, it's been amazing. Michael, the bartender, was fantastic and the food was super good. We got the 2-$32 with the chicken and sirloin. Worth every penny. The steak was cooked perfect and the chicken was tender and flavored well. I would have given it 5 stars but the liquor, beer , and local beer selection is really lacking compared to their competitors. Still a great place to eat. read more

So I headed down there got there about 3:40 and there are signs saying not to get out of your car so I didn't. I didn't interact with an employee til about 4:15 and only received my order partially missing my desserts. That took another 20 minutes. Me and my family are from out of town, and currently staying at the hotel nearby. Last night (10/29) we stopped by and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get good service. The host was busy running around cleaning the restaurant, looked like no one was helping them. The restaurant looked awful by the way, someone needs to do a better job at keeping that place up. You could tell the host was frazzled. We didn't even get spoken to or anything, so we left. Today (10/30) my children wanted to come, so I had no choice, but to come back.(I'm glad we gave it a second chance! come during the DAY if you want good service!) Traci was our server! She was the only one helping at the door, and running the bar as well. You could tell she's a strong employee, so this place needs to give her a raise or do something to recognize her hard work! We had the monthly sippers, zombie drink and the new chicken quesadilla salad(Traci's recommendation) I'm very taken back by the service we got today, some places just don't hire friendly people no more, so I'm glad our server turned our bad experience last night, until a good one today! read more

I came here on 11/12/20 for lunch with friend/co worker. It was about 2pm. It was not busy at all. Maybe 2 other tables filled. Masks were worn by staff. The provide hand sanitizer at the door. They are enforcing social distancing by having every other table closed. We were seated promptly. Our waitress was Amber. Amber was attentive and friendly. I got the shrimp n' Parmesan sirloin with green beans and broccoli. This was an expensive lunch, but it was sooooo good!! I'm doing keto, and this is a good choice. Only 3-4 net carbs for the shrimp and sirloin, About 7 net carbs for the green beans, and about 3 carbs for the broccoli. I would definitely get this again. So we decided to do lunch on Saturday Feb 11. The food was good, normal Applebees fare. We tried the Cheetos wings as an appetizer and they were surprisingly good. What really impressed me was our server. She was working the bar, waiting tables and doing hostess duties and she never missed a beat. She also never stopped moving. Yes, there were others working but no one came close to working as hard as she did. I wish I had gotten her name but don't remember it. Overall I would give her 5+ stars and the food 4. See photo** Since the quesadillas looked extremely thin when they arrived I opened them up and was amazed that the kitchen would send out such an insulting dish. Worst nanagement ever. Winston Salem NC on Patterson Ave. We communicated to the waitress that we came for the $1 shrimp with a steak purchase. She said ok. We had seen the advertisement and the menu said $1 for 12 Shrimp with the purchase of any Steak entrée. I ordered steak and my husband said ok I will not order a different entrée since you got a steak and I will be getting the shrimpbshrimp. The waitress ask how we wanted the shrimp cooked. We said fried and when our order came out there was no shrimp. We ask the greeter where is the shrimp? She went to get it came back and ask how you want it cooked? She later came back and said they said you can't get it with the 2 for 30. I spoke with the Manager who stated they had to account for every shrimp and it was impossible to ring up now. We could have made different choices and he could have ordered a shrimp entrée. 1. A good manager would have informed the staff 2. She would have honored it after we had ordered our food and was waiting on the shrimp while thinking we were still getting the shrimp and we were misinformed. Twice we were ask how we wanted the shrimp. 3. I would never say I had to account for every piece of shrimp. 4. The special should not say with ANY Steak entrée and then make exceptions. Well to sum it up she was rude and refused to make any consession like getting the shrimp. . Due to this, Applebee's has lost 2 customers for life. She should have met with the waitresses, Post something for the servers but don't flip the switch on the customer's when you are a sorry Manager that didn't inform your staff. None of the staff knew. I am not usually a fan of Apple Bees just because over the years it has really declined in professionalism, cleanliness, and menu variety. However, I gave it a try as it was close to the hotel. My experience left much to be desired. We were sat at a table promptly, however our server did not know he was our server. He had to ask if "we had been helped " yet. This was only after he walked past us like 4 times. Yes I would have left, but I gathered that they were having some issues with staff. More so, having issues with being under staffed. The gentleman that assisted us was great! As I knew the staff situation was not his responsibility. He was very kind and attentive. The food on the other hand was VERY disappointing. The silverware was not clean, the ice was dirty so it appeared to be floaties in my child's drink. Veggies were not chopped correctly, food was not very hot, and it took a significant amount of time for my child's order to arrive. Only to appear over cooked and a bit old. The tortilla strips on the fiesta lime chicken were burnt and the chicken looked a little tough. Overall, I will NOT be returning this establishment. It needs a massive upgrade. We stopped by at 2:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon and stood at the hostess station for about five minutes before someone came and told us that there would be a 10-15 minute wait, and a longer wait if we wanted a booth. Yikes. We looked around the restaurant and there were plenty of empty tables - a few four tops, and and least four two seaters down the main row to the right. Not sure why there was such a long wait for a table, but we gave our name and had a seat. We struck up a conversation with the couple who had already been waiting there and asked them how long they'd been waiting, and they indicated it had already been 15 minutes for them. Well, we had gift cards that we had to use up, so we decided to wait it out. Not long after the couple in front of us were seated, we got a booth shortly after that. Our waitress came and took our drink and appetizer order. Our drinks were delivered and shortly after our appetizers arrived, but no cutlery or napkins were given to us. It took us a few minutes for her to come back around to check on us, and she quickly brought us napkins, plates, and silverware. The food was good, but cold - the chicken wonton tacos were my fave, and husby got the mozzarella sticks. Our entrees were brought out not too longer after the appys arrived which was fine with us - we wanted to be done and out of there as quickly as possible. I got the brunch burger but it was missing the bacon. I didn't want to extend our visit, so I ate it as-is. Husby got the steak and shrimp parmesean - a little too salty, but the shrimp and the steak were well cooked. He got the bacon mac and cheese as a side (would get again) and the garlicky green beans (stay away from this one unless you like mushy beans). I was perplexed by the green beans - they were a vibrant green, but they were extremely mushy. Yuck. We paid our bill and left as soon as we could. The inside appears run down and dated, and I guess they had plenty of empty tables and not enough servers. We saw a table behind us that was piled high with un-bussed half-eaten plates. The whole thing was not appealing and we will definitely not be back. If we are given gift cards to Applebees again, we'll definitely re-gift these so someone else can have the pleasure of visiting this location. read more

Me and my husband went here for dinner got there at 7:45 & was seated as soon as we walked in. Waiter comes and takes our order, and we waited over 50 mins to get our food. Then, the order comes out and my husbands was wrong, he had ordered the mashed potatoes and got Mac & cheese, he decided not to make a big deal about it and just keep it. Before the waiter walks off we asked for some A-1 sauce for our steaks. 10 minutes go by and he still hasn't came back and so I see him in the back and approached him, we need A-1 sauce and he snaps off "I have other customers to attend too, you will have to wait". We then asked for a manager , at which she comes out we explain everything that just happened and she apologized and went and got us the A-1 and my husband mashed potatoes. So, the time we ate, our food was cold. The people beside us got their food before us and they complained how their food was cold and had to send it back after waiting nearly a hour to get it. Then, we asked for our check which the waiter brought but, left before I could give him our payment, had to wait another 10mins before I finally took the check to the front and have the guy up there cash us out! This place is awful, they are rude, wait time is ridiculous considering they wasn't even that packed, & the food is not that good! I will definitely never go back! read more
