Appliance 911 answered the phone within 2 rings (no voice mails), Tatiana was able to schedule me for the very next day, Vlad arrived when promised and fixed my Whirlpool clothes dryer on the spot. Vlad arrived with another worker, they removed their shoes, asked for a vacuum, kept the workspace neat and most importantly resolved the issue. Within 30 seconds of listening to my machine he was able to diagnose the problem and had the parts in his truck. He offered a fair price for repair and I am very pleased. They offer a 90 warranty on their service. Honest, fast and reliable. Vlad also took the time to show me the machine after he took it apart and where the problem was. Appliance 911 team saved the day and Holiday season. Our refrigerator broke right before New Years. We woke up to fully unfrozen food in the freezer and warm milk and other produce in the refrigerator. Not fun when you have a family over for holidays and planning a New Years party. We've had problems with our freezer leaking randomly every few weeks and the last repair guy who came out basically said we need to replace the whole refrigerator. So we called Appliance 911 and Serge came out. He quickly discovered (by taking apart the freezer--something our first guy didn't do) that our drain line was clogged. It's been a couple weeks since Sergei came to our house, and our fridge is still in good working condition. We got it ten years ago and were mortified when we discovered that the temperature was fluctuating in both the fridge and freezer, all of our recently purchased groceries ruined! A new fridge was an expense we were unprepared for after my surgery. I called a few repair companies, and Appliance 911 was available same day, although they charged a little more than the competitor I spoke with. I figured it was best to just get it done, so I agreed to have them come out. Sergei performed a thorough inspection and determined that the problem was unusual and we might need a new compressor (I think that was the term?), which would have been expensive. He admitted though that he wasn't sure if that was necessarily the issue, and suggested that we start by replacing the relay and cleaning out the coils/underside of the fridge. He even suggested that to save money we could clean out the coils ourselves after he replaced the relay. He gave specific instructions on how to clean it, and allowed us to save some extra cash. Sergei had the part he needed in his inventory, and replaced it in probably ten minutes. The end cost to us was minimal, and my husband was more than happy to clean the coils. I appreciated how honest Sergei was with us about the problem, and how he clearly wanted to save us money. He cared way more than I would expect any contractor to. From what I can ascertain from our single experience, this company is efficient and honest. In the end, it was totally worth spending an extra 10-20 bucks on the minimum trip charge. read more

I am editing my original review to 4 Stars as I received a call from Appliance 911 that underscored their commitment to customer satisfaction. We had a good discussion that their approach to providing an estimate was based on "worst case" and that they wanted to have all parts available that they might need to fix the problem. I did not understand that they would methodically use the most probable "System" repair part and see if that solved the issue and if not escalate to the next part(s) if needed. I had paid for the service call and they did offer to reimburse me for that charge which is appreciated. So the cost and savings I mention below are not representative of their service. My GE Refrigerator stopped cooling, I tried GE and they could not schedule a call for a week, so I called Appliance 911. The good was they came out in a couple of days, charged $120 for the visit. Vladimir (nice guy) diagnosed and thought it needed 3 parts, labor estimate was several hundred $$. I decided to call GE again and they came out Visit was $118, plus cost for 1 part totaled $240. It was fixed in 20 minutes. I saved $420. So You may want to consider the manufacturer repair as they have all the diagnostic tools, and all parts. read more

Our Kenmore built-in side by side refrigerator had gone "over temp" several times in a 3 week period. In addition to this it was not holding the temperature in the freezer and was going to -10 vs 0 recommended. After reading many reviews, I chose Appliance 911 and am so happy with my choice. After reading a majority of good reviews with some not so good ones too on Appliance 911 I decided to try them. I called at 7am to leave a message hoping by 9am ish I might get a call back. They called me by 7:30am and were very accommodating. Vlad came by that afternoon, he was extremely knowledgeable about stoves and appliances in general. We have a Thermador stove and it has been making a lot of sparking sounds on its own. Vlad have his opinion on what he thought the problem was, what he could do and not do and was honest that servicing one area might not solve other issues our stove had. He gave me an estimated cost and we proceeded. So far it's been 25 hours and all seems to be in great working order. What's great too is they offer a 90 day warranty on parts and labor AND were more than happy to show me a full breakdown of charges when I asked. Promptly too I might add. This is the best experience I have ever had with an appliance repair company. Two of our appliances, the drier and dishwasher went on strike. I called on a Sunday of a holiday weekend and Tatiana aswered and was ready to schedule someone the next day. She answers the phone every time and works hard to accomodate your schedule and keeps in touch to notify you about expected arrival times. After the move to our new home, our dryer wouldn't work. I called Appliance 911 and they came out on time when they said they would. Sergei worked his tail off trying every possible fix (changed out gas valve coils, flame senor, glow igniter), but in the end he couldn't get it to work. He recommended I call someone else that might have a computer board and/or blower thermostat. Since he couldn't fix the dryer, he didn't charge me at all.
