Good company. Appliance Concierge Services was recommended by multiple people on NextDoor. Our LG refrigerator's ice maker decided making ice was no longer in its job description. ACS returned my call promptly and put up with my numerous questions about their pricing. Having received reasonable answers, an appointment was set. Stephen, their Technician, told me what I suspected, that a new ice maker was required. Evidently there's little to "fix" in these things. Stephen explained the charges in detail, obtained payment and said he'd return to replace the unit. A couple days later, I received a call letting me know when the replacement would arrive and to set the installation appointment. Today, Stephen arrived earlier than scheduled after calling to make sure the timing was okay. He promptly replaced the ice maker, made sure it was functioning and reminded me of the 90 day warranty. Finally, he issued a refund for a part and the associated labor that was determined to be unnecessary. It's always a good sign when a company avoids additional work that most consumers, me included, have no idea whether it's necessary or not. A few folks on NextDoor recommended I replace the ice maker myself. I'm reasonably handy and YouTube does provide very helpful information. However, I've also had some do-it-yourself encounters that still haunt me. So, I decided to save myself another potential middle-of-the-night nightmare and call in a professional. The bottom line is, I'm very glad I called Appliance Concierge Services and, more specifically, was pleased with Stephen's expertise and professionalism. While I hope to have a respite from more appliance issues, I'm glad to know whom to call if the need arises. read more

I would like to offer my full and enthusiastic endorsement of Appliance Concierge as a highly reputable company with which to do business. Husband and wife team, Anthony and Mary, are sharp, honest and work hard to solve issues as quickly and economically as possible. I have specifically worked with them twice. On the first occasion, one side of my induction cook top had failed. Mary worked with me on the phone, walking me through various easy fixes. When these were unsuccessful, Anthony recommended that it not be repaired, as failure of one side was indicative of a soon-to-come failure of the other side and each repair would be costly. He felt that my money would be better spent in simply replacing the unit. No cost for this conversation - just good advice. Anthony came out to my home this week to repair a Kenmore Elite washer that was throwing an F11 error code, typically indicating one of three communications problems, none of which can be specifically diagnosed. Anthony's 20 years of experience suggested the motor board is bad 95% of the time, the mother board is bad 5% of the time and connectors are rarely the issue. With my approval, he replaced the motor board and I will run it for several weeks to verify the repair. Should the error code return, Anthony will remove the new part, replace it with my original at no additional cost and we'll move on to the mother board in this trial and error situation. Anthony's and Mary's attitude and business practices are refreshing. Smart, responsive and fair priced make them standouts. Other service businesses could take a lesson here. Anthony provided possibly the best service I've ever received from anyone for anything. Late in the afternoon I discovered my fridge was kaput and checked Yelp. Concierge was at the top of the list and local so I called. He worked me through some troubleshooting steps on the phone and then came straight over. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and very conscientious, he quickly diagnosed the problem and ran out and got a necessary part, all the time with his wife and daughter sitting in the car waiting on him. When he couldn't get a replacement compressor quickly enough his wife Mary surfed the Web to find me some good deals on a fridge locally, they were that eager to help. He's very driven to garner return business and sought my assurance that his bill seemed fair. Wow. Absolutely no comparison to the usual grudging, reluctant so-called service you usually find. Appliance Concierge Services has been our go-to appliance repair company for the past few years-they have worked on our washer, our dishwasher, and now our dryer. They are quick to respond to calls, very easy to work with and do a fabulous job! We cannot say enough good things! Our dryer's heating element went out just a few days ago and Gregory came out and fixed it the day after I called. The price was good, the repair took less than an hour, and he was very pleasant to work with. They are following all of the CDC guidelines-Gregory was gloved and masked. He sterilized his hands before he came in to our home and did so again as soon as he left. I was very comfortable with him being in our home even during this uncertain time. I had a refrigerator that I was trying to fix myself. Not being an appliance guy, I did my best but came up a little short. I had texted the folks here at ACS about setting up a service call. As he was asking me via text what the problems were, he pointed out what the problem was and told me what part I needed. So I got the part and found a You Tube video on how to fix it. It was such a high integrity move for them to help me in this way, especially since it meant they no longer needed to come out to my house (and money out of their pockets.) My double oven lost all power and remained locked after using the self-clean oven. I got a referral from the neighborhood to call Appliance Concierge Services and they were at my house within an hour and had it fixed that day. I was expecting a ridiculous price as it seems most service companies are very dishonest. The cost was beyond fair. Anthony showed me the prices in the book and charged me less. I will ALWAYS call them in the future! They also do fireplaces. We are having an issue with one of ours and told him we would call him this fall. My search for an appliance repair company is over. Mary and Anthony are incredibly knowledgeable and personable, prices are incredibly fair. My Samsung refrigerator began making noise one day and they were able to diagnose it over the phone, order the part, and came to fix it a few days later within a couple of hours. It's been over a month since the repair and it's working well (as well as Samsung appliance can work, anyway), so their over-the-phone diagnosis was correct. You will not find a more trustworthy company to work with; I only wish they handled repairs outside of appliances so I could go to them for everything! read more

Appliance Concierge fixed our pilot light in our gas fireplace and even did a couple things extra. Anthony was incredibly helpful, explained everything, showed us how to check for leaks, and eased my fears about our gas fireplace burning our house down (I'm a little bit of a worry-wart), Pleasant and helpful, they even tried to help us over the phone when we made our appointment so we could fix it without them having to charge us! They were here an hour and charged less than $100, which is unbelievable. We will be calling them for any appliance issues we have because they were just so wonderful. read more

Our dryer sounded like a rocket ship taking off so we looked around for an appliance repair company. Appliance Concierge Services was super easy to schedule with, all communication occurred over text. Greg assesses our dryer and determined the motor was broken and the replacement part would need to be ordered. He suggested that we contact our credit card to see if they include an extended manufacture warranty, which they did! Our dryer was repaired and our credit card company paid for it. My Refrigerator/Freezer combo has been unable to maintain temp in either compartments. Freezer temperatures have been fluctuating from 0 to 40 degrees. One moment they are fine then a couple of hours later they are out of whack for numerous hours. Refrigerator compartment temps were fluctuating as well. Gregory with Appliance Concierge Services was on time, professional and quickly determined and subsequently fixed the issue (compressor start/run relay was faulty). Great value for the cost. Have used Appliance Concierge Services twice now, first for a gas fireplace that wouldn't light in our new home. We were told by another company it needed a $350 repair; didn't believe them so called Appliance Concierge and the owner came and told me it just needed to be reset. He showed me how to do it, and charged a minimal fee. Just used them again for dishwasher repair. Gregory was courteous and efficient, again no up sale, just found the problem quickly and fixed it. Our ice maker stopped working correctly and the first appliance repair company I called came out and after 10 minutes of looking at things on-line, quoted me the most ridiculous amount to fix it. I told them I was going to get another bid. So glad I called Appliance Concierge! Appliance Concierge was awesome to work with. Yesterday the dryer went down with an F01 code. I have four kids and the laundry needed to get done. I called over to them and they set up a time to come up the next day. Got the dryer back alive and even said that the dryer is a great dryer and not to go out and rush to buy a new one. These are great people and they were amazing. My dryer died, they had to order a part and got it fixed within a few days. They didn't price gouge me and gave me a fair rate for their labor. A few days later, my washing machine died. They didn't have immediate openings, but made room for me the next day. They fixed the problem and actually gave me a discount. The repairman are beyond exceptional in both their expertise and professionalism. They were also personable and I liked the guys. read more

Fantastic service! Scheduling the appointment was very easy. I appreciated exchanging information via text with Sal and it was great to be able to simply snap a picture of the model number on the dryer so the tech would have the information ahead of time.
