I found my washer and dishwasher overflowing in two separate weeks. First week, I contact Appliance Genius for my washer. I was able to get an appointment that same week. When the technician arrived he was respectful and knowledgeable with the issue. He explained to me that I had a bad water valve and he will have to replace the part. Once the part was replaced, the technician test the washer. I was relieved that the washer was repaired. The following week, my dishwasher was leaking out tremendous amount of water onto the kitchen floor. I called Appliance Genius and they were able to save the day, again. I was able to get an appointment that same week. When the technician arrived, he explained to me the disposal is what causing the dishwasher to leak. Technician was able to replace the garbage disposal and everything was back to normal. I'm very thankful that Appliance Genius technicians and staff were nice and caring when both appliances were giving me chaos. Ive used Appliance Genius twice, once for an ice maker repair and once for a repair to my downdraft system. Both times I felt like everything was done exactly like I would want it if it was my own company I was running. So impressed with the thoroughness of the reps they sent out- they carefully explained in detail what was wrong and how they could fix it and as an added bonus, both were super nice and friendly guys! I also cant say enough about the customer service over the phone. They didnt have an apoointment until a week later, so I had asked if i could be put on a waitlist in case something opened up sooner, fully expecting the standard "that's not in our policy", but they said theyd be happy to (!) I have used Appliance Genius to rebuild a built-in Sub Zero and to repair a built-in gas grill and gas range on a home that is over 20 years old. In both instances, they were experts at finding parts that I could not locate myself as the models are discontinued. They managed to secure all the parts to make both appliances operate as new, including new burners for the gas stove and gas grill, new knobs, etc. The technicians they send out to diagnose and perform the work are outstanding. It is great to know that my I have options and don't have to listen to the appliance sales people who think you have to replace everything built-in at a higher cost. In my case it would have resulted in tearing out a counter tops, and installing a vent hood to replace my downdraft system on the range. Luckily I did not have to do that! What a great company to deal with! They rescheduled my appointment twice to accommodate my work schedule. I needed a part replaced on my Bertazzoni range and was assigned Alfredo. Half hour after he placed the call, he was in my kitchen and skillfully proceeded to diagnose and replace the part. What was most amazing was that afterwards, not only did he clean my oven, he also went on to give us a mini class on ALL our new appliances in our newly built home. This service gets it done Right!! Appliance Genius was recommended to me by my appliance dealer, Harway Appliances. I called and a very nice & polite human answered! I was able to get a technician in less than a week. I requested a time-slot; paid for the parts required for my service call and promptly on the day a Tech was to arrive, my technician arrived! He went right to work and within 20 minutes or so, he had the part installed, he cleaned away, dust and debris that might have been causing an issue with the performance of my Appliance, and also gave me advice on the best way to keep the appliance running smoothly. My GE refrigerator had a blocked water line and was causing water to leak everywhere. I was referred to Appliance Genius by my home warranty company. I received a call within 30 min of my service request submission. The office staff was courteous and professional and very helpful. I had some specific time frames that I could be available. Jay the first technician came on time (10 min after the start time frame given.) Parts were needed and approval from warranty company. Great service from these guys on our speed queen washer. We tried all the stuff on YouTube to reset the machine and after nothing worked we called them. Alfredo showed up and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He was courteous and professional all while keeping his social distancing and mask on. I felt very comfortable with the way he presented himself and his knowledge. He ordered the parts we needed and made an appointment with us to fix the washer when they came in. Nathan came out to my property to repair my fridge. The fridge freezer and ice was no longer working. Nathan took his time! He didn't just reset the fridge and confirm it was working. He WAITED to see if it properly was cooling as should. After a hour, he found the problem. If he wouldn't have stayed he would've never found the real problem. I'm so grateful in this time of necessities Nathan came out to help me fix my fridge. I'm so grateful for people like him. Someone who cares and was very nice. They came out to replace the light bulbs in our microwave and oven. The entire unit had to be pulled out to replace both bulbs. 3 guys showed up to do the work. They were very nice and polite and did the job with no problems. However about 6 weeks later the microwave bulb went out again. They told me their parts warranty was only 30 days & they would have to charge the labor again. However, after much discussion, they finally sent a technician back out to replace the bulb for no charge (which was the right thing to do). I really appreciate them taking care of the situation. I had to deduct one star for putting advertising stickers on all my other appliances without my knowledge or asking if it was ok. read more

They have installed grills, repaired ice makers, replaced oven sensor boards, washing machine rubber gaskets, and just yesterday, Jay and his assistant repaired a Sub Zero with a freon leak for me. This company is friendly, works efficiently and will actually tell you up front if something is not worth repairing. They went above and beyond the call of duty yesterday to help me figure out an electrical issue I was having in my kitchen that had nothing to do with the refrigerator repair and didn't charge me for their time. We were having a problem with our newly purchased Dacor dishwasher. After having problems with Dacor's first Chosen service firm, we were referred to Appliance Genius. We were assigned a 2 day appointment. Nathan Wallace arrived and immediately went to work. There was a leak problem which required three additional visits before Nathan diagnosed a faulty inlet valve. The part was ordered and Nathan returned to effect the repair and return the unit to service. Nathan is an excellent technician. He is extremely professional and pleasant to speak with! Alfredo was very professional and knowledgable about my Thermador stove. Per customer service's promise, he called 30 minutes before arriving and showed up on time. He calibrated both ovens and explained to me the process. Turns out the readings on the stove were almost perfect so Alfredo explained to me the process the stove goes through to preheat in both the convection and regular mode. Did not realize preheating was so important. Anyway, Alfredo took time to explain the heating process and reviewed the specifics on how to get the stove to preheat properly before cooking. Appliance Genius is very professional. They replaced some parts in our Bertazzoni oven door that another local company failed to do. The hinges were faulty resulting in poor door closure which resulted in excessive heat damage to the gasket, glass panels, and the closest cabinet edge. Scheduling was easy and they had a technician out in 2 days. Their tech, Tristan, was very upbeat and extremely knowledgeable. He serviced the appliance in 30 minutes for a flat fee. Even placed a flashlight in the oven to check for light escaping to ensure proper fit and test the new hinges. Even cleaned the new glass panels before installing them. I had a water leak on my refrigerator that was only happening when I used the water dispenser but unfortunately the Morning I was scheduled to leave town the problem expanded to a consistent steady leak regardless of what we were or were not using.
