I put in a Yelp request for My LG washing machine that wasn't draining at around 2pm today. They responded immediately and had someone at my house at 3:30. $60 service fee that went towards the repair. The service technician told me upfront he would need to drain the barrel and clean and drain the hose. That would be $260. If that didn't work that means it would need a $200 part. So, I have a dishwasher that has (had) a couple of problems. One of the problems was a significant leak from the bottom of the machine that poured into the basement (it was pretty bad). I called and set an appointment for a tech to come to the house. He arrived and diagnosed the problems within minutes. I watched him order the two parts which costed @ $200. It took two days for the parts to come it. Another tech came to the house and spent about 45-60 minutes replacing the two parts. I watch him work and he did a good job. I might have been able to do the work but it would have probably taken my 2-3 hours to do it. I did have doubts. I was surprised at how fast the first tech diagnosed the problems and left. I had a little trouble communicating due to language difficulties. So, the second tech left and I had paid about $425... That was over two weeks ago. The dishwasher works perfectly with no leaks. Both problems fixed. The came to my house twice and about 50% of their charges was in parts. I will use them again. read more

Scammers! The other reviews are not real people. Do not be fooled. This guy wanted to charge me $250 for part and labor. I only needed a dryer belt, which cost $5/7. He told me that he Purchase from Sears so it will be a little more because they get a warranty. I don't benefit from a warranty. I said "so you are charging me $240 for labor?" He said he is just a technician, I need to talk to his boss. His boss was willing to take $10 off. These guys are scammers. Do not use this company. read more

Wonderful response! I had an issue with my oven arise on a Saturday morning. I put in a request and got an answer within minutes and an appointment in the next hour. Ben was my technician, and he was prompt, knowledgeable, and transparent about what he could do at the time. It was on me to have a window treatment removed so that he had proper access to the back of the stove, which I was able to do thanks to my neighbor. Ben returned Sunday afternoon, and while we couldn't get a complete fix, he explained everything to me and advised me as to next steps. My washing machine broke and I looked on Yelp. These guys responded online in minutes and their guy came by w/i an hour. His diagnosis matched what I could find out from codes the washer showed--replace a motherboard. Said it would be a few days to get the part delivered. But, later that same day he called and came back to fix it after finding the part locally at Tribles. It works great. Had them check out the dryer too. They fixed a broken wheel, a cracked belt and did a thorough cleaning. My Samsung French Door fridge was not cooling, freezer was good. I contacted Appro and was immediately contacted by Fred who said his technician was available the next day. The technician arrived the following day and proceeded to fault find. He has never worked on this design before but quickly found out the cause of the failure to cool, the fan was not working!. He had a spare fan and found out that the fan was located in the bottom freezer compartment which is not normal, he removed the housing, the faulty fan, replaced the fan and reassembled all within the hour. A very big thank you Appro for this professional service and customer focused. I forgot the technician name but he was a very nice guy and cleaned up after him. My LG washer was a mess. We have 3 days of laundry backing up. A water valve was faulty and the washer wasn't draining. I submitted a quote request to AAPro to repair it and had a call back in less than 30 minutes! Not only that, but Farid from AAPro was able to fit me in on the SAME DAY! He shows up and is just as polite as can be. He spent about 15mins poking around my LG washer, identified the problem, and even had a spare part in his truck! The total repair time took maybe 30-40minutes. Now my LG washer is cranking out loads without a problem. That was the best money I've spent. Farid is a repair champion. He arrived 30 min after my phone call and figured out my 1 year old LG piece-o-crap refrigerator needed a new control board, which of course is not covered in the LG warranty, only the compressors have a 10 year warranty.
