Armando is kind, honest, and easy to work with! As a female. I sometimes worry about being taken advantage of in the mechanic space, but Armando walked me through what was wrong with my car in an easy to understand way that didn't feel like mansplaining, He even pulled up his online order form for the needed car parts to show me the exact breakdown of costs for parts and services, which I really appreciated. If you are looking for someone to get you in quickly to streamline your car, I definitely recommend this place Armando and his team are top-tier. I'm so grateful and blessed to come across them. I called three other shops in the area and they had bad customer service skills so I opted to not go there. I was going to replace the turbo charger on my car which is a $700 part in itself plus I would still have to pay for labor. I decided to do a boost test to see if I really needed to replace it and come to find out I didn't need to replace it and there was nothing wrong with it. It was an error on my part haha. Great customer service and car service at a fair price, highly recommend. This is definitely my go to place now. I took my 2001 Camry in for a cylinder misfire. Armando greeted me as I arrived, and asked me some questions about the car. After chatting for a bit I left it with him and he said he'd get back to me after taking a look at it. Since I live nearby I was going to walk home but when I told Armando that he actually lent me a bike. Really awesome. A few hours later I got a call back explaining what the problem could be and how he intended to fix it. A few hours after that, I got a call back saying it was all fixed. Armando is great - although I've never taken my personal cars here, my girlfriend has brought her 2012 Toyota Camry here several times. Each time Armando walked her through exactly what needed to be done without overselling any other services or extraneous issues. The first time she got her transmission serviced, and it was very fairly priced compared to competitors. Her alternator went out the other day and she got the car towed back to Armando. He was able to get it fixed the same day and we were able to pick it up that afternoon!! This place is right down the block from us and she has only gotten superb service every time. read more

Our van started smoking and we were stranded in an unfamiliar neighborhood. We went to the nearest mechanic and were told we needed a new radiator and it was going to be $850! We panicked and didn't know what to do, and luckily another shop in the area referred us to Armando instead. Turns out, all we needed was a small connector piece, and not a whole new radiator at all. He was able to fix the problem, and quickly, for less than $100! We were so happy with his work, and he gave us another awesome quote for a problem we were aware of, and we are happy to have him fixing that for us next week. I highly recommend this local small business. We brought in our Buick to diagnose and fix a coolant leak that was causing the car to overheat. I called on a Friday afternoon thinking I would be out of a car for the whole weekend, but Armando told me to bring it in right then. He quickly found the leak and quoted a very reasonable price - less than I expected. He immediately went and bought the replacement parts and installed them that afternoon, and I had my car back by 6pm the same day! He pointed out some other issues with the engine that need to be fixed in the future, but didn't pressure me at all to have them done immediately because I was on a budget. I will definitely be using his services again. Nice guy, easy to talk to and seems very honest and straightforward. Walking distance from the Windsor Park neighborhood, very close to Mueller as well. It is hard to find a good honest mechanic, but Armando is the real deal. I was needing a new engine and looked around and referred to Armando from a friend and I am so thankful for that. He took care of my new engine, and a couple of other things at a great price. A couple of weeks after I was having an issue with a bad vibration in my truck and I was afraid of what was coming next. I stopped off and had Armando take a look. I think what most would have done was say that I needed X,Y and Z done but no. Armando said yes you need new struts on the front in but it is your tires.
