I am really not satisfied with the gel manicure I got here. I came in with a picture of what I wanted (just a solid color with glitter on the tips). My manicure came out looking like an amateur did it. The glitter does not look anything like the picture. It's way too chunky and not gradient. The solid color looks great but don't get glitter tips! They do not know how to do it here. It was cheap but not what I wanted at all! If you want gel definitely get a solid color! My pedicure came out all right though but honestly I'm embarrassed by my gel manicure. read more

This place appears to be understaffed so quality and service is lacking. Went here before my wedding day for a mani and pedi and my treatment was completely rushed. My nails are the last thing I would want to stress about before my wedding but I left completely unsatisfied. Unless you're getting the gel polish done their regular nail polish is cheap and poor quality. I waited about 20 minutes for my nails to dry but once I reached in my purse the polish scratched. They tried to do a quick fix but they were just way to busy to take the time to ensure it was picture perfect for my wedding. Its really hard to find a good and decent priced hair stylist. But i found it here and it's close to home! I got chunking and coloring done here and I loved it! I got so many compliments from people, asking me where I got my hair done and how much it was. They did it just the way I asked and the price was very reasonable. Kaly is the best, she knows what's best for you hair type. In my case, my hair type. Lol. I had a lot of breakage after I gave birth to my son and she suggested how my hair should be cut since my hair was so thin. I will definitely be back to get my touch up here! read more

At apsara a stylist by the name of Kelly colored my hair and she did a wonderful job. She colored it and it came out exactly how it was in the book. She cut and styled it also. I first came to this place because of the reviews over a year ago. Everything they do is very reasonably priced but you get what you pay for. It is no big deal to me when a place is a little older and the decor is not the nicest but if I am getting services like a blow out and a manicure I like to see that the place is clean and this place is not the cleanest, I've seen worse however but roaches running around, and not the cleanest area for your employees to eat is just not good. They do not have fancy massage pedicure chairs too which sucks but the matte black gel here is really matte which I like. I keep coming here for Amy she left for awhile then came back. I've only gone to this salon twice, however I pass by the salon daily. There never appears to be a crowd, so two weeks ago I decided to get my gel manicure and pedicure there. Although the nail technician was not very pleasant, she did a good job and I was satisfied with the pedicure. Note, they do not have spa pedicure chairs but I was still satisfied. HOWEVER, my second visit was a different story. This time I went in for eyebrow waxing, gel manicure, and pedicure. All the technicians were busy, which was not a problem, so someone did my eyebrows first. The nail technician then came over to wrap my nails while I was getting my eyebrows done, which was nothing different from what other salons do. But, at my regular salon they ensure that you put your purse in an area close to where you're getting your service. In this case, as my head was tilted back for my eyebrow waxing, I was holding my purse as my nails were being wrapped. When my brows were complete, I realized that the acetone from my wrapped nails had dripped onto my leather purse which resulted in a large blotched faded area on my purse. Later I realized there were several more faded spots as well. The technician was so nonchalant about the damage....No remorse at all, no accommodations offered due to the damage caused. Finally, the technician gets ready to start my nails, so I asked about a matching polish for the gel color I selected. She tells me that they don't have matching colors at their salon. Now this same damn woman did my nails two weeks ago and bragged about them having lots of matching colors. Today she had the nastiest attitude on the planet. That's probably why there's a HELPED WANTED sign in the window and the salon always appears empty....the two nail technicians need an attitude adjustment and customer service training. There is a nail salon on almost every block....I paid for my brows and walked out! A disrespectful funky attitude is not worthy of my hard earned money. NOTE TO SELF...stick to my regular salon where I have a great relationship with all the technicians, and they provide a welcoming, respectful and courtesy environment. read more

I had a pedicure Thursday spoke with Kaly about my hair , saw some people she was working on, looked great ! Went in Sunday for my roots & highlights ! Looked amazing she did exactly what I wanted ! I've never had so many compliments on my hair as I have since Sunday ! Then yesterday I went and did the Brazilian blowout , so I have straight hair with no frizz! Kaly also did a wonderful job fixing where my old hairdresser hacked my layers ! Two people at my job have asked for her card ! Great place every one very nice , my new salon ! read more

I do want to say that I had been going there regularly ever since Kali opened the salon. I've seen it evolve, with people come and go. The owner Kali really cares. While she has a set team she can rely on which is dwindling, there are others that just do not care, and put it on Kali when she's not around. That's not right. At this point, Kali should not have to micro manage the people who work with her in the salon she owns. I shouldn't have to come in on a set appt. that I've had for years (ever since her salon opened), & have the person try to have me do one vs. two services because she wants to "go shopping", and for one of the services....she don't do that. While I get part of that, there was no effort to even try or get a colleague to assist. Why did I get this person to begin with? What did I do to deserve such an ungrateful person who hates her job? Wondering if she got fired from her last job, but that's neither here or there. I also shouldn't have to feel bad about rescheduling my next appt. due to work as I'd be late anyway and not be courteous of their time, only to confirm the day of (that being today) since I had rescheduled, to be again told they can do only one vs. the set two services...because remember I told you....BS! I don't know you like that, and you don't know me well enough to pull that crap with me. I didn't know I was getting stuck with the likes of you....again! I know it's not like I can do your left hand, but not your right. I get that. But for 7 years of getting a manicure and pedicure on a set schedule, and being treated like that like she's doing you a favor and attempting for you to conform to her nonsense? Sorry, but I like people who follow their money. She didn't tell me anything (I barely know her) and again I didn't know I'd be stuck with this person again...then she makes me feel like I bothered her for calling to confirm, and again blamed Kali for her BS of why she cant do it. I've been going there for 7 years since it opened!!! Yet you blame Kali for the second time because she won't be there to "help you" to do both services...Lazy! You had 3 days to figure this out, and I'm sorry....isn't the weekend the busiest times? What you do you mean Kali didn't tell you? That's not my problem. Who's doing who a favor here? You're doing Kali a favor with your BS? She's the owner of the salon!!! Take some responsibility that you're LAZY! I canceled altogether, and scheduled the next day at an overpriced salon by my home that'll handle my business first thing tomorrow morning. I also called one of the people who used to work there who own their own salon now, as I was being courteous out of loyalty to Kali delaying seeing her for so long, and she gave me her personal cell and said when and at what time...before she even realized and remembered who I was...then when remembered...because she knows my work schedule....confirmed she'll be there for me. Either way though, she got me! I don't know if I'll be back at Apsara for a long while or ever. I LOVE KALI for the record, but with an exception of a select now less than a handful of her team that works there as they're slimming down, the new ones are cranky, over it, and expect you to conform to their schedule, and blame the owner Kali who gave them a job behind her back as their lame excuse. I've been holding off, but when the last one I gave a chance had changed her schedule, and was put with one who clearly didn't care. It only took two times to mess this up after 7 years. The third time you're done. You don't care - Neither do I. Trust and believe I love and respect you Kali, but your new staff are the ones that are driving your regulars away. I hope this changes for the better for you. You deserve better. I know you can only do so much, but OMG some of these people need to just walk away and retire. read more

This place is fantastic! I've gotten my hair and nails done here. They do such a fantastic job. Everyone is very friendly too. They have really great prices too. I have really long and thick hair. I got a haircut and I got my hair dyed. It only cost me $75 bucks.They offer $18 gel manicures too! So, you should definitely come here if you want to receive great service for more than reasonable prices :) read more

This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I told her I wanted long layers with side bangs. She gave me straight bangs and there was no layers. I asked her again to fix it, she still messed up. Long story short, after she tried fixing it three times it kept getting worst. She seem to be new at cutting hair because my hair looked like it was cut by a little kid. The more she fixed, the shorter my hair got. The layers were not even and it was a waste of $12 and my time. I should've gone elsewhere. Do not get your hair cut here, the ladies are friendly but the one that cut my hair messed my hair up!! read more

Although very reasonably priced, it's not worth paying for! They do a poor mani/pedi and you really do get what you pay for - limited nail colors to choose from, bleeding cuticles, cold water to place your hands/feet in, less than standard quality. Unlike other nail salons, Apsara isn't properly equipped to do mani pedis and their technicians definitely need more training. Their staff is friendly but I'm paying for a thorough and complete job and unfortunately they just didn't deliver. A very disappointing experience. With so many other nail salons in the area, Apsara will be one that I won't be returning to. read more
