Wish I could give 10 stars. Awesome job! We had black carpet stains from soft black soled shoes and past spills. No matter how hard we tried we could not get out the stains. We were almost to the point of buying new carpet but decided to give APT Carpet cleaners a try. Wow! Anthony got out all of the stains, and the carpet looks bright and fresh. No harsh smells either. Our neighbor saw the results and also scheduled Anthony to come clean her carpet too. The cost was very reasonable. Extremely impressed. We contacted APT Carpet Cleaners to clean the carpet for the apartment we were renting. Anthony came right on time and was asking questions about the carpet and we mentioned that we had a past mold problem this summer that we had believed had been resolved. He suggested that we might want to double-check a few things prior to getting the carpet cleaned, as the cleaning could potentially make the mold worse. When we pulled the edge of the carpet up we found mold. While we unfortunately were not able to get the carpets cleaned, we very much appreciated how helpful and honest he was - even if it was not in his best interest and meant we couldn't proceed with the cleaning. 5 stars is not enough for Anthony. He was on time and extremely friendly and polite. Our dog had some trouble adjusting to our new house, and we had some pretty bad urine stains. Anthony made our carpet look like brand new and got all of the spots out. He even gave me a suggestion for some other products to use if our dog had another accident. I first used APT a while back when I lived in Pentagon City. I decided to use them again for my new home, so I gave them a call because the Rotovac service is awesome. I scheduled my appointment and had them come out within two days of calling to setup the service. They were suppose to arrive between 10:00-noon, but had an issue at a job before mine and were running a little late. The office called me as well as Anthony when he was on his way to my home. Not a huge deal, I understand things happen and honestly, the communication was key to making sure I was informed of the delay vs just making me wait around all day like some other companies/contractors have done. I know other reviews have said this, but Anthony really is awesome. He's polite, professional, works quickly and does an excellent job. He made sure to explain all of the options for me to make sure I knew exactly what I was wanting and what the results would be. I am a little delayed in writing the review. Anthony cleaned my carpet in late April before moving in a (new to me) home. He did a fantastic job- he was on time, very nice, and very thorough! The carpet looked and smelled great. He didn't try to upsell me unnecessary services or products and was very honest and helpful. Did an amazing job. Carpets are 10 years old and we have two large dogs. After cleaning, they look almost brand new again. APT was very easy to deal with and also cut us a break by not charging us for the premium package but still moving the manageable furniture to clean underneath. I'm moving into a new apartment and just had the carpets cleaned by this company. They were great starting with showing up on time!! The cleaner walked through the apartment with me and gave his honest assessment about some of the tougher stains and whether he thought he'd be able to get them up instead of just trying to sell me a different service. He had me walk around after the cleaning to look at those areas to discuss other options. He also explained what he was doing and the reasons why during the cleaning process. I received an email confirmation in minutes. That's not even the best part. The tech arrived exactly on time, if not a few minutes earlier. He explained the process and got to work immediately. He was done in about an hour. Probably a little less than an hour. The price was good and the service even better. This carpet looks like new! I called APT carpet cleaners to get an estimate on cleaning pet urine from my sofa. Anthony (I believe is the owner) said he could come out to give me an estimate. Anthony was there on time and informed me that it may be more cost effective to get a new sofa versus trying to get it cleaning given the degree of damage. I appreciated his honesty given he made an effort to come out and, in the end, not get any business. If I have a need for carpet or upholstery cleaning int he future, I would certainly call Anthony again. read more
