So I decided to try the new steak nuggets. My advice. Don't do it. The price was 7.19 for 5 pieces. Portion of the steak is not worth it. Three pieces were good size and two others were slim to none. Arby's did not have the meat and manager Marilu refused to make the situation correct. ARBYS DOES NOT HAVE THE MEATS WITH THE NEW STEAK NUGGETS!!! I decided to order a French dip to go for my son. Customer service was the worst. She over charged me so I had to go back for a refund. She told me I couldn't use the 5.00 off because she said some are not for in store redeem. I showed her my screen and says you are right but when she refunded and rang me up she didn't give me the 5.00 off and gave me another excuse. Marilu was all over the place. She started taking the man's order and then walked away to the drive thru and said give me a second. Came back and asked him again for his order after having him wait for her to finish drive thru. On my drives to Tahoe or Sacramento i usually stopped in here for lunch. It is conveniently located and it is always very clean. The staff are very friendly too. I always loved this store, ever since college days when i had an Arbys a block away. So glad the company is still going strong brcause i am addicted to their delicious roast beef sandwich with cheese sauce, and i always load it down with lots of extra Arby sauce and horsey sauce. We LOVE Arby's, and this is the closest to our home. So, OF COURSE we would stop for a lunch here! And believe me, we were NOT disappointed! This Arby's is ABSOLUTELY CLEAN! Everything shines and is spotless! I have been going here for quite some time - think it was closed for a while - and then it is opened again! It has gotten better with each visit we make, and that is the best for restaurants! The service was amazing as well! A young man took our order... he was patient, helpful and accurate. Most importantly was his attitude. It was all about the customer and making our experience the best. And he DID! The food - I always order the "Regular Beef Sandwich" with lettuce and tomato. That little addition makes all the difference in the world. I love the thinly shredded lettuce and the yummy tomatoes. Then I add on the Arby-que sauce = heaven! I ordered curly fries - to share with my husband AND a diet Dr. Pepper. I always count on Diet Dr. Pepper - as it is not often served.... but at Arby's - always. The food was quickly delivered and it was as always - FABULOUS!!! My husband ordered the new Steak Nuggets with Mac 'n Cheese. It is a nice bed of Mac 'n Cheese plus a few onion rings and five nice chunks of juicy steak pieces. The lid says to stir it up and it made a difference! The flavors melded a bit and it was creamy throughout. I'm not a mac 'n cheese eater, but my husband said it was really good! This is the absolute worst fast food experience I have ever had, the food tasted like wet socks and garbage. Last time I went the experience was okay and the customer service lady Samantha treated me nicely, however, when I returned today it was as if the restaurant had completely forgotten the FDA regulations regarding food safety. So where to start. So evidently the hours online and posted on their door are just guidelines. Even though everything said they opened at 10am, they weren't. We ended up exploring our options and while deciding saw the Open sign light up around 10:40am. For the food. I haven't had Arby's for decades and now I remembered why. The original roast beef was dry (meat and bread) and no flavor. The horsy sauce helped a bit. The beef and cheddar was better just because the cheese sauce at least cut thru the dryness. The only reason I gave it an extra star is because the curly fries is still good. And if the brisket sandwich had been assembled correctly, it might've been ok. Our brisket sandwich had the onion, sauce. and cheese on only half of it. so the half that was only bread/brisket was dry and flavorless. But the other half with all the other things disguised the brisket enough to be ok. If everything had been spread out on that sandwich it might've been good. Maybe I will wait another decade to try Arby's again. read more

Stopped in for takeout lunch during long drive to vacation on the coast. We were overjoyed: they have potato cakes! Ordered 4 & they were cooked absolutely perfectly! Can NOT say the same thing for our sandwiches. We ordered 4 Regular roast beef sandwiches. The buns were nicely toasted & fluffy soft. But the roast beef was incredibly undercooked. Most of the meat was so pink that it looked more like carpaccio (raw beef). We were so disappointed when we discovered the raw meat after driving several miles. My husband ate two of the sandwiches because he was hungry & loves medium rare burgers. So, he thought the meat would be OK. But, of course Arby's roast beef is designed to be fully cooked. Undercooked Arby's tastes quite awful. I was hungry too but decided to wait until we arrived at our destination a couple of hours later. As soon as we arrived & unpacked, I microwaved just the meat for 1 minute and reassembled the sandwiches with some Horsey sauce. And they tasted perfect. It was definitely worth the wait to finish cooking the meat. I hope this Arby's crew will commit to roasting their beef exactly as directed to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The first time I came here through drive thru and asked about the jamocha shake, they said their milkshake machine was down. Finally I was able to come back and try it thinking it's summer time it should be fixed and a lot of time has passed that it should be up and working. Well I wasn't happy about it because it tasted like vanilla. My advice is to not get their milkshakes or they should add more flavor of just sell vanilla shakes. read more

I have never been to Arby's before. I always see the commercials and I tell myself I would try them out one day, so here I am. First, entrance is one way and there is a lot of parking. The exit is through the back and you have to go around. Make sure to stay on the right lane because the lane on the left is the drive thru. I walked in the restaurant and I was immediately greeted. It was very clean inside. Not what I expected but it was nice. The drink and condiments station was also clean and organized. I ordered the sweet heat beef and brisket meal with curly fries and a vanilla shake. I also got jalapeño bites. I didn't wait long for the food. She asked if I wanted sauces and said sure. She gave me 2 Bronco Berry sauces. I found the name and taste to be interesting. It is like a sweet and sour sauce but with tang, not bad and worked well with the curly fries. The burger itself was ok. The sweet heat flavor was not there. It was just meaty. The bites with a perfect meat to sauce ratio are delicious. Some of the bites was just bun and meat which was dry. This is where the sauces come in handy. The jalapeños bites and vanilla shake were good. I would get these again. So overall it was ok. read more

Well, I know people on here are saying not to expect too much from fast food, but I remember a time when Arby's was absolutely delicious. I don't know why there is so much variety between the places - there is one near Buttonwillow CA on the 5 that has sandwiches which are delightfully warm all over and melt in your mouth. Unfortunately, this one is not one of them. The bun was dry and looked like it had been passed through the toaster twice. The meat was kind of sinewy and like the kind of slices you buy at the 99 cent store. Not what I was used to years ago or some of the other Arby's I'd been too. I am back here in the Bay area and drove from Martinez because i was craving a good old fashioned roast beef sandwich. I saw all kinds of signs coming over here, telling me to steer clear, but I ignored them. the staff there were a little too casual, joking around in Spanish and spending more time focusing on making noise than actually working their jobs. I heard one laughing so hard she actually started to engage in a coughing fit. Of course, i am probably being a little harsh. I think a lot of fast food is declining- not that it ever was a delicacy. But anyone who has been around for a couple of decades or more knows that quality and quantity in this industry is almost depleted. I ordered Beef N Cheddar SandwichesChedder Roast Beef, and crispy chicken; with a side of strawberry cream pie and curly fries. Curly fries were good. The crispy chicken was good, but lightly crisp. Alright, I don't eat deli meat, and don't know why I expected something more than that for the roast beef's. I couldn't have probably put this together myself, with a dash of velveeta. There must've been some kind of sauce, like horseradish, but I was not provided or asked if I wanted any. All were quite plain, but price was decent. It pains me to have write this review but here's to hoping things will get better. This is the only location close to where I am if I crave them but lately they just have been going downhill especially with their listening skills. My order every time we have been going there has been wrong sadly this year. The cashiers seem to be in a rush whether in the lobby or the drive thru. The last time we ate there in April, the lady did not offer us to change our sides so we got curly fries by default which I was fine with but hubby assumed he would get regular fries. Today we had to go through the drive thru since the lobby was closed which was fine. However the guy was rushing us to get our order completed and we did not make any modifications just stated we wanted regular fries on one order and curly on the other order. We got our food and they gave us our food and of course no regular fries just curly fries and no napkins provided. Very sad but I can say their food is good.
