Recently stopped in for lunch. I decided to wash my hands before ordering. When I went into the men's room, I found a bathroom that was noticeably dirty. The single sink had a hand pump soap dispenser. The pump had been removed and someone had clearly added water to try to make more soap. Absolutely disgusting. There is simply no way that an employee could wash their hands. If they can't wash their hands, then they can't handle my food. I suppose they could have another sink in the back but I shudder to think what that may look like if the public spaces are in such poor condition. I'm bummed out by this experience. In general, I like Arby's menu. I'm not sworn off Arby's, but I won't return to this location. read more

Visited the store on 09/09/14 around 5PM. Only 2 staff waiting on customers with 9 customers standing in line. Only 1 person seen working in the kitchen. After a 14 minute wait to have my order taken only to find out the shake machine has not been refilled after the lunch rush so no shakes. Sandwich order took 5 minutes to fill. Several condiments were not refilled and did not work. Definitely a sub par experience. In heindseight, the help wanted sign for cashiers and assistant managers should have been a clue of things to come. Not going to be stopping back by for a while and see if they can get their act together. I love their menu but I'm not going to go through that again with so many other fast food outlets in the area. read more

We eat here a lot because my husband loves their classic roast beef sandwiches. He always eats the homestyle fries as well, which we think are better than the greasy curly fries they're known for. I've found the staff to be very friendly and cheerful, and they even decorate the place for holidays like Halloween and Christmas. It's always clean and well-stocked with sauce and soda dispensers, but they do have some roof leak issues in one spot of the lobby. A lot of the food on the menu is high in sodium and/or fat, but a few items are tasty and not too unhealthy. I think their fried chicken strips are some of the best out there, nice and crispy without being greasy, and it's real chicken breast meat, not that chopped/pressed stuff. The turkey and swiss wrap is really good too, and not too heavy. But my favorite item is only available in the summer, which is the pecan chicken salad. It's chopped chicken, pecans, grapes and apple chunks, and it's delicious in the wrap or sandwich. If you want something a little less healthy and are looking to indulge, they have jalapeno poppers, a smoked brisket sandwich and a rotating variety of cool shakes, all of which are very tasty. read more

Today I was on a mission to try Arby's new Brown Sugar Bacon BLT. My friends and I like to say "there's a party in my mouth, and I've been invited." Today; however, there was no party. My mouth simply died and went to heaven! It was soooooo gooood! I ordered my BLT with only brown sugar bacon, as it is normally served to include peppered bacon with the brown sugar bacon, and I don't care for peppered bacon. They really got this one just right, I'll be back for many many more. read more

I would avoid this Arby's, located at 8127 Lee Highway, Merrifield. The staff there are incompetent. I ordered two sandwiches, a simple order, and waited along with 6-7 others also waiting for their names to be called to pick up their order. While waiting other customers were arriving and placing their orders and those who were waiting with me were being called to pick up their orders. Then I noticed that those who arrived after me were also called to get their pick up orders. Realizing something was amiss, I approached the counter to complain and ask where was my order? The manager asked my name and they had no record of my order, offering an excuse that it may have been given to someone else? So then they reorder the sandwiches to be made --another 7-8 minute wait. After a total of ~20+ minutes at a fast food restaurant I finally got my order only to eat a dry roast beef sandwich. I won't go there again. read more

The restaurant was clean. The service was good. We did not have any trouble placing our orders. The cashier was friendly and capable. The fries and the roast beef sandwiches were good. The chicken tender had too much batter and a little dry. The onion ring was not great, not awful. I liked the horsey sauce (wasabi mayo) and the three pepper sauce. It's something different than the usual chicken nuggets and Big Mac. If we are in the area, we will go there again for the roast beef sandwich and the fries. read more

What can I say? Sometimes I just need meat and some bread. Always get a classic roast beef sandwich sans fries. It's cheaper that way and I'm not in love with their fries. This place specifically is nicer than most others. Nice, clean seating area. Two soda machines and condiment areas. The food itself was fresh. This is a great Arbys. The food is always hot and delicious and the staff is friendly and quick. We always get the classic meal combination with curly fries. It is always good. I think they could do a better job of keeping up the drink station and the dining area but our experience has always been a good one. The coupons generally make this a very good value. read more

I picked up an order to go at this location in Merrifeld. I guess I wasn't speaking fast enough for the cashier because she gave me an eye roll and a huh like she couldn't wait. I don't eat this kind of food all the time so I don't have your menu memorized. I only stop at Arby's like once or twice a year. Even so, did she really have to give the impression that she was couldn't wait. After she did that, she walked away in the middle of me ordering. It's not my fault there was only one cashier. Walked here from my hotel last night and they couldn't take any card for payment. Came back tonight and was very disappointed. The staff was inattentive and moved about as fast as grass growing. The place was filthy and many of the amenities (napkins, sauces, etc.) were empty. I ordered a premium sandwich from the menu (6.49 for a BBQ brisket) and it was the smallest sandwich I've ever received from Arby's. It literally had less meat than a junior sized sandwich. I took it back up to the person working the register and he shrugged and said "uuuhhmmmm". No explanation, no question, nothing. read more

Sure, I know what the quality of the food is. I don't come here very often, it's a pain due to the nature of it's location and lack of a drive thru. I tried the Smokehouse Pork Belly, and it's OK, despite the sauce being way too sweet. But the customers are a freak show at this location. They mill around, and because there's no organized way to line up, everyone just stands around, wondering who's next. Lots of senior citizens, and lots of just plain strange folks gravitate to this place. read more

I gotta tell you, I was really drunk when I came into this Arbys from V5 next door. The menu looked a little foggy, so I just tried remembering what I ate here while I was stoned in college. Chicken Bacon and Swiss, Regular Roast Beef with ketchup and curly fries. The chicken filet was not freshly made, probably sitting around for a few hours. The food was fine though, and fast. The experience overall was mediocre. I had a small smokehouse brisket sandwich meal. The main flavors of the sandwich were smoke and fat, but mostly smoke. The curly fries were bits, with about half long enough to be curved. Only one was curly. But it was the service that appalled me. People who ordered after me, were served before me. A customer who came after me and ordered sandwiches and onion rings had time to get his drink, look at his ticket, pick up and read my ticket, and get his food long before the server even noticed that I had been waiting too long. Even after the server noticed the problem, I still had to wait while others who came in much later were served their meals. Did they apologize profusely or do anything to make me feel better? No, they did not. Although when I said, "This is wrong," the server who took my order said, "I apologize." To top it all off, when I went to get a refill of soda, the flavor I chose came out as carbonated water. They have a bell customers rang to show their enjoyment of their meals. Nasty location. The restaurant was uncleaned and the bathroom was dirty. Not enough employees working here. A guy takes your order of onion rings and goes to the back and fried it himself. I only got 4 pieces of onion rings for $2.89. You kidding me, right? The add-on small drink was $1.79 and another small fries for $1.89. That's a price of a combo (burger, chicken nuggets, fries, and soda) at other franchise, but whatever if quality is better- it's actually even worse. The orange soda tasted nothing like the original Fanta. The sauce stand was messy with spilled sauces on the counter and they also ran out of straws. Please get a new management. I came here last month with my friends and it took me this long to get around to writing this review, but here it goes. I decided to order the french dip and Swiss and the sandwich was great! I loved it. The staff is okay...meaning they weren't the best or the worst. The cashier who took my order made me repeat my order a total of 6 times. He seem confused but I only order 1 thing. When he gave me my order I decided to stop and put napkins in the bag, and great thing I stop cause before I knew it the french dip sauce was all over the bag and counter. When i examine the bag, the cashier decided it was a good idea to put the boiling sauce in a coffee cup which ended up breaking. The staff was nice enough to get me a new sandwich but that was upsetting to get sauce all everywhere. So not a BAD time but for sure not the best. Oh and by the way, the location of this arby's is terrible! read more

Staff is really friendly and food is good. Maybe the building has seen better days but you don't go to Arby's for the architecture.

Food was not as fresh as some of the other Arby's I've been to. The service was not that great either. I think the cashier spoke Spanish to me and I had to repeat my order several times. She didn't wait for me to finish my order before ringing me up either. Its a fast food chain so I wasn't expecting much in terms of service but the food I received was not very clean either.
