With the same mega chains of fast food repeating on the I-5 north and south this Arby's stands out as a great change of pace option. From LA to SF there are only 2 Arby's that I know of and I visit both. The roast beef sandwiches are awesome and huge. Don't forget the horsey sauce! And be sure to check out the onion rings... woah. My wife and I usually love Arby's, and went out of our way to search for one during a recent road trip. We will never go to this location again. Soon after arriving, we were told they were out of roast beef, their signature menu item! The service was super slow (in spite of the six employees on duty), and some of the workers looked like they would rather be anywhere else. The entire place was dirty, which was unfortunate as the kitchen was completely open to customer's view. They waited till the trash was overflowing from the trash cans to empty it. Brand new store, employees are not experienced or trained. Hardly anyone here, and the trash is overflowing and every table is dirty. The girl taking the order left mid order and just went to the bathroom... we had people behind us waiting to order as well. I have no clue what to say. Franchise owner? Investors? Eric works behind the counter here and he is awesome. He told us about a cool online survey that I could fill out for a free dessert, he then offered to clean items off our table. Great customer service. When it came to the food I got the Hawaiian Smokehouse Brisket which exceeded my expectations. It had a great combination of sweetness from the bun with warm meat and cheese. The bathrooms were a bit messy for the amount of traffic that was there when we visited. If it weren't for the cleanliness of the restroom I would give this Arby's 5 stars for Eric's 5-Star Service. read more

Picked Arby's for a late night dinner on the way back home from San Francisco to San Diego: saw my fellow Thanksgiving travelers clogging up In-N-Out on Sunday and noped outta there. Service was nearly 5 mins slow in the beginning, but they at least acknowledged that they'd get to me, they appeared quite busy with near closing time clean up as well as a few other guests. Food came out pretty quick after I ordered anyway, and the fried stuff was super fresh, so no harm no foul. Was still hungry so made a 2nd small order, chitchat with some of the employees and some of them had been working all Thanksgiving weekend and/or pulling double shifts. Then after wrapping up, some still have to open up the next day. I went here because I saw a commercial and thought I would try Arby's again because I haven't for many years. I went for the bacon beef cheddar because they were on sale and looked tasty in the commercial. Just trying to order was a pain from the beginning. The gentleman taking our order seemed unable to help us for many minutes even there was no one else in line. He was also void of any knowledge regarding the menu as he couldn't answer the two questions we had. He also rang up our order wrong and gave us a free drink. But what makes this trip most memorable was the food. It was disgusting to say the least. The meat had to be at least three different colors. The bacon was old and overcooked making the sandwich feel like it had pebbles in it. This is exactly why I haven't eaten here in years and probably wont ever again. read more

Just waited 40 minute in drive through line. I have always gone to McDonald's, in N Out, etc when stopping at Tejon Ranch. My wife wanted to try Arby's on our way to our destination. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. How is this fast food? What a fricken joke. Btw, we were only 5 cars behind the window where you get your food. EACH CAR took about 10 min! This is ridiculous. This 5-star review is specifically for the service we received from Ginger at this location. We were on our way back home from Bakersfield and wanted to stop at Arby's as it was one is the options in the area. I had never been before and was not familiar with the menu choices. Ginger took the time and explained some of the popular items and was super patient when taking our order. Her suggestions were perfect and the food was great. Probably the best arbys I've ever been to. Staff was courteous and friendly. I made special requests for my meal (which fast food rarely does right, if at all) and they killed it. These guys were awesome. Someone's shift ended so they left and didn't say anything despite the fact that she was in the middle of preparing our order. We weren't in a hurry and didn't even notice, but apparently 30 minutes had gone by, so Alex and Gurinder offered to remake our food fresh, and comp it. 30$ meal free because someone else, not even them, made a mistake. I think the worst service I have ever had. I just Order one combo meal and it took 33 minutes and it might have even taken longer but a guy that oder after me got his food and ask me what did I order and I said one meal. He said to the lady hey hey she has been waiting longer than us. She said what is your name and found the order and then I got my food slop together and fries were cold. A older lady standing by me was waiting too for like 10 mins and all she order was a chocolate chip cookie and got fed up and said excuse me like 4 times and said I only order a cookie. They had a whole lot of people waiting just as long as myself. Had 5 employees prepping the food. I never see. Nothing like it to be so slow. The girl making the sandwiches couldn't have been any slower like a sloth. One more thing general manager doing the cash register taking order never notice the orders not getting out. The whole staff acted as if they had no idea what they were doing. Will never go there again and we pass thru on our way to Disney often. Also one more thing the drive thru not any faster because we were in that line like 10 mins the car never moved so I went on thinking it would quicker. What a joke just horrible read more
