There's food I like at Arby's, but sadly not the roast beef sandwiches. A Facebook friend posted a photo to his timeline where an Arby's employee misspelled his name. My response was, "Reno still has an Arby's?" Sure enough, in the Northtowne Center that used to have a Walmart. So I had to stop by and give it a try. As I walked up to the main entrance, I saw a sign that said no photos or audio or video recording in the place. Well, you don't post more than 4,000 photos on Yelp by giving up so easily. So I place my order. I got a basic roast beef sandwich, potato wedges and an Orange Creamsicle shake. The woman behind the counter said it would take several minutes to make fresh potato wedges and I was okay with that because I needed to reconnoiter where I was going to take my photos of the food. I looked around and settled on a place behind a post so the employees couldn't see me. I was the only customer in the restaurant. Then just as my food arrived, more customers walked in. I thought, great, the employees will be tied up with them and won't notice me snapping away. I set my tray down, pulled out my camera and got my photos. I was happy to get three potato wedges because I like those. They were as good as I remember. Nice crunchy texture and decent potato flavor. I would get those again. I stopped being an Arby's regular when they got rid of their Black Cow milkshakes. I gave the Orange Creamsicle shake a try. It wasn't bad. Maybe a tad too sweet but otherwise good. The roast beef sandwich was not that good. I recall a time in the 1980s when I liked the taste of the roast beef at Arby's. Not any more. Tastes both heavily processed and bland. Nothing in the flavor suggests it comes from a cow. It needs Arby's sauce, but a little of that goes a long way. It has this odd metallic tanginess. A thin coat actually helps the sandwich, but add just a tiny bit more and it overwhelms the sandwich. The staff was friendly to me. I could return to Arby's, especially for the potato wedges. I would love it if they could figure out how to get their roast beef to taste like beef. read more

I usually don't leave bad reviews, but just need to do this here in hopes that maybe management may do something. And I usually don't eat at this Arby's because I honestly haven't been too impressed with this store in the 3+ years since I moved into the area. But my son from SoCal was visiting and likes Arby's where he lives, so we've been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Neither of the 2 previous visits were all that great, but here's my experience today... Arrived at the drive thru at 12:44 PM. I was just wanting to get food and take it home before my son started his drive home. There were 6 cars ahead of me...2 of them hadn't yet ordered. (And if you are wondering why I stayed in that line, as soon as I pulled into it, 2 more cars pulled in behind me. I was stuck...or I would have left.) At 1:09 I finally got up to where I could give them my order. At 1:33 I finally got my food. So if you average it out, 49 minutes total for 7 orders equates to 7 minutes per order...and 24 minutes to prepare my order from the time I placed it. Not exactly what I'd consider "fast" food. As for the quality of the food itself, it was okay...what I would expect from Arby's. Granted it was a Saturday, so would expect it to be a bit busy (of course, I would hope management would staff for the same). They DID have a sign on their doors and drive thru menu that they are hiring...maybe that's the issue. It'll probably be a while before I come back here. read more

I've always loved Arby's, I like the brisket sandwich when they had the Hawaiian bun and the mozzarella sticks are amazing buuuuuuut unfortunately Arby's really disappointed me tonight. I ordered the buffalo chicken burger and it was one of the nastiest things I have ever had. I give this place a four star because I had a pretty good experience there. The location of this Arby's is perfect. Close to the freeway and near a shopping areas. I ordered the smoked house turkey sandwich and a roast beef kids meal. The turkey sandwich was much better then I was expecting. Especially is a fast food place. The sandwich was mouth watering good. Stopped at Arby's for lunch while out doing errands. Got 2 fish sandwiches one without lettuce and extra tarar sauce, the other normal. We received our food and both had lettuce and very little tartar sauce. I informed the cashier the order was not correct and explained what we wanted. She took the bag and then brought it back in a couple of minutes and the order was still wrong. We needed to get going so we took it as it was. Worst drive thru I've ever been in. I got in line, and because a car was behind me, was unable to leave. Big mistake. I sat in line for TWENTY-FIVE minutes before getting to the order box, then tried to order a shake, which is the only thing I wanted. They told me that they didn't have any shakes, when the girl ahead of me had JUST ordered one. Because they were out, I couldn't order anything as I'm vegetarian. So I sat in line for another THIRTY minutes just to be able to leave. Very upset that I wasted an entire HOUR of my time in line to get nothing. I'll go to Sonic for my shakes instead. read more

I came to this Arby's looking for a lunch at 2:30 PM in the afternoon expecting it to be open just like any other fast food restaurant yet the The drive-through was blocked off by a menu sign and the door was locked that said drive-through only how were they closed!?!? Stopped here with a friend on 4th of July for dinner after finding that all other restaurants were closed. Cashier struggled a lot with taking our order but did apologize and say she was new. Overall vibe of the workers was uninterested and unappetizing. There was confusion with my order and I got the wrong sandwich. My friend got the pecan chicken salad in a wrap which they literally just rolled up without tucking the ends so it was impossible to eat. I picked at my fries and we both left hungry and confused. I am from Cali and love Arby's. we moved here 3 months ago. Everything went wrong. Waited 10 mins for them to take my order. They where cursing at each other the time I ate here. The fries where cold and I ask for new ones and they said no and said you should have eaten them faster then. I got a beef and cheddar and there was very little cheddar on it. So I pull up there was probably a 3 min pause before some one said hello . Anyways that's all they said when they answered lmao then I started ordering nd the lady goes we are out of lettuce . Nothing afterwards like okay there's no lettuce ? Can I order it with out it lmao long story short who ever was at arbys working at around 930 pm was complete trash . Not only did they sound bothered by me pulling up but they had zero customer service skills. Food was great like Arbys always is. I came here at 10pm on Labor Day they were out of Arby's sauce packets. Which was quite upsetting being that I don't eat any condiment that is not pre packaged. Also the manager showed great frustration at the fact that they were out of "everything" as she exclaimed. I waited for over 15 minutes to get my meal as well as sauce. Can't review the store it's self as we have only used the drive thru. The chicken salad sandwich is really good with good size bits of chicken. However, the standard roast beef sandwich was more bread than meat but double meat is pretty good. Their potato cakes are still yummy and I have fallen in love with the orange creamsicle shake. Toilet sprayed urine and feces all over me head to toe. No seat covers. Had to use toilet paper for seat. Auto flush did not work. used foot to flush toilet. that's when I got sprayed. This is for the black man that's a night manager: they forgot a sandwich of mine, once I returned he said I was lying because I was confused about the menu. I wasn't able to ask him a question, or anything. He belittled me and he's was the rudest person i've dealt with. Everybody was rude to me because they forgot my sandwich on my previous order. I called over 10 times, they won't ever answer their phone and you can't leave a message. I'm going to call every morning to talk to another manager and tell them about that black man. Plus they have over 10 workers working and it's the slowest place I've ever been to.. I'll never go back. Wendy's is right next-door and is much better anyways. Definitely some of the rudest service I've ever had. "Kathy" who was working the drive-through made it quite obvious that I was interrupting whatever it is she was doing before I got there. I ordered one meal and a pizza slider. Arrive to an empty window at the drive-through and sat there for about 5 minutes. "Kathy" eventually came from around the corner took my money and asked if I'd like any sauce. Not politely, clearly annoyed...that I was alive... she hands me my order I pull out and realized she forgot the Coke. So we park going with the receipt and stand in an empty restaurant at the counter where she can definitely see us but does not acknowledge we are there....so I say "hey-we didn't get out coke." She doesn't even turn to look at us...looks at the poor older lady-behind the counter with her and apparently someone else she's comfortable pushing around and said "can you get her a cup?" No apology no acknowledgment, nothing. So I asked the lovely older lady who gave me a cup with the girls name was...She looked like she was afraid to tell me the name... i'm not gonna say I won't go back to this Arby's because it's the only Arby's in Reno and I know better, haha I'll be back... but someone needs to touch base with that girl, she is clearly having issues.... she's taking it out on your customers and I think also the nice older lady that she's working with. In the past few months this place has really gone downhill. I know at some point last year they basically had a mass exodus of their employees and I remember being there for lunch with my husband watching a kid turn in the app for a job and was asked if they could start that day. Of course after that it got incredibly slow since no one knew what the hell they were doing. We have never had any issues before with them taking expired coupons, even after the change of employees and now all of a sudden they don't take them. Tried asking the girl when this started and of course she couldn't even answer. I think we will try again another time to see if someone else can answer that question for us. Food was tasty for fast food and the service was better than the last time. However, the reason for the lower rating is the God awful music that plays in the dining room. It's horrific music that you would expect to hear in a low budget nightclub, all that's missing is the strobe lights and a laser show. This location is horrible. We went this past Saturday, giving it another chance because of prior issues. The rudeness in drive-thru was palpable. I ordered a sandwich and regular fries, which was rudely responded to with "you will have to wait five minutes for regular fries". Then I dared to ask what teas they had since it was hard to read. The response was, "you want me to go over all the teas we have?". I didn't realize all the different teas they had, which was probably three. With that, I said forget it, and drove away. I was in the drive thru this afternoon 4/14/2018 around 3 pm. It took the staff about 25 minutes just to take my order. By the time I left the restaurant with my food it was about 3:50 pm. When I drove up to the window, the staff did not display any kind of urgency. I realize that help is currently hard to find. But it is plainly obvious management does not know how to schedule their current staff, or does not know how to motivate them. Lead by example. I have bought half-pound Roast Beef sandwiches from other Arby's before, but have never had one as bad as this one! . First, the bottom of the bun was missing. When I went to complain, they gave me a whole new sandwich. Then both my friend and I had the same problem with our sandwiches. The buns were soggy! . Somehow, after using a pile of napkins in trying to eat mine, I managed to stay fairly clean, but her bun was SO soggy, it fell to pieces and her hands were a mess of the extra cheese sauce and Arby's sauce! . We think they must've frozen the buns, because if you freeze them, they get wet and very soggy when they thaw out. . We wanted extra large sodas. They couldn't sell us that, because all they had were milkshake cups--up to the large size. . We wanted potato cakes. They didn't have that either. She ended up getting regular fries and I got the curly fries, but you know? When you're expecting one thing and you have to eat something else instead, regardless of how much you may like it otherwise, it just doesn't taste good! . Half were waiting for their food and the other half waiting to order their food... Service was slooooow. I got my order to go and left... Down the road as I bit into the sandwich, first thing I noticed is "this is not their cajun fish sandwich". Just a plain old fish sandwich with way, way too much sauce which made everything mushy. I really want to like this place and like a fool I keep trying. Food is great, the problem is the service. My one star will go towards the food bc seriously the service in this place is ridiculous. I went to Arby's because I had received some coupons in the mail. I'm 28 yrs old and have never been to an Arby's before. Glad I went . I walked in and at first I was like ok? It took about 4 min before I got helped but that was ok because I was still deciding plus the previous customers order was big and being put together. Once I was greeted it was Amazing! From there on out. The cashier was very friendly and apologized for my wait even though I wasn't complaining. I ordered my delicious food not expecting what I was in for. The cashier and other employees engaged in a conversation with me that not only made me laugh historically but also one convo that made my cry with joy! I'm 7+ months pregnant and the convo was just what I needed to hear. The cashier also said I could bring my dog in the restaurant that she didn't mind . Even though I didn't bring my doggy in because I didn't want to upset any customers that would be opposed . I still thought that was very sweet. I received my fairly large order of 4 different kind of sandwiches because on the coupons you can use up to 5 of them so I said why not haha. I went to me car and my dog and I indulged !! Omgosh!!! I was in heaven ! From the pork belly to the roast beef piled high on the two can dine for 8.99$ and the cheddar roast . Can't remember really the other sandwiches because this was 3 days ago and I've been eating here everyday since then trying to try everything on the menu and I feel I have about 2-3 days left before I can complete the menu mind you I get atleast 3-4 sandwiches at a time haha . But I just have to continue and say that first day got me hooked ! So much that I went back in the restaurant after I finished eating and ordered 6 more sandwiches to go to share with my neighbors in my condominiums , because while I was eating this delicious good mood food I had to call a few friends and boast about how amazing these sandwiches were and come to find out most of them have never had Arby's either. So I was convinced it was my duty to share my delicious experience . I haven't stop going since haha the employees recognize me right away every time and laugh about me bcuz I'm hooked!! They need to rethink this one, the staff is rude, the manager named Martha is an overbearing person, and treats people as if they are stupid and ignorant, laughs at customers when they have an issue and refuses to do anything to help them, needless to say the food is poor quality for Arby's be warned when going to eat at this location, you would be better going to one of the other location in the Reno NV area here is a copy of the complaint that I sent to Arby's and I have been eating at Arby's for many years and have in different states and this one is the worst. I am contacting you about the complete rudeness of your manager named Martha at the Reno NV location on 04/02/2013, my wife ordered our food and waited for it to be complete and then carried the order out to the car and decided to check it to make sure everything she had ordered was there, she did not see the both french dips in the bag so she contacted an employee who she did know was the manager, and since this person was so rude she asked for the manager and Martha said in a rude tone "I am the manager" she became very rude about the whole thing, she insisted that all the items were in the bag and refused to come and check them and laughed at her and very rudely said "Oh yes it is, and you are just trying to get free food", this also caused a customer behind us to walk out because of her rudeness, once she finally did she did find the item in the bag under a couple of the other sandwiches however her attitude and rudeness is something that should not be allowed, acting as if and treating my wife as if she was stupid, her tone with my wife was very rude, and her putting her hand on her hip and shaking her head and acting like my wife was a complete idiot is something that no one should have to put up with, and as much as we love eating at Arby's we will NOT be returning to this location and we will be posting on Yelp and other sites about this store,you need to deal with Martha, before you loose even more customers. read more

I stopped here for lunch on 2/28. I had not been to an Arby's in years but just happened to be in North Reno and saw this one. I was very impressed by the quick and friendly service. The cashier had a bright personality. I had the french dip with the curly fries. It was extremely yummy. The entire place, including the restrooms, was very clean. Great experience. read more

I must say this has always been my favorite Arby's, never a bad meal. On occasion they would get carried away on the condiment, but always good. Customer service has always been good. The last 3 times, only twice did I order. The third time I walked out stating, This is stupid! . Stood in line for 25 minutes only to have the rude gal at the counter stop taking orders and start just walking around. No eye contact at all, there was one customer in front of me and 3 behind me. Claiming someone called in sick, what! So you all just stand around? There was no hustle with any of them, none at all. The big shot making sandwiches shouted at a customer when she asked if the sandwich just put up may be hers? He shouted no it's not yours and i can only do one sandwich at a time! What the heck? I was told last week the whole store was new and she was the new manager and sorry for the 45 minute wait in line! Tonight's order was half ass, my favorite is the market fresh Turkey and Swiss, this one was pitiful, my sons Triple stack was shorted the chicken so we paid for a triple and got a double! May give it one more chance but if they can't come to service of about 4-6 weeks ago, I will no longer go here which makes me very sad! read more
