    Shrimp Rolls
    Christine G.

Beautiful Thai restaurant on West Flamingo and Torrey Pines. Met my gf for lunch. And we had a feast! I had the shrimp egg rolls, spicy beef salad and 2 Fiji waters(always order bottled water). She had the beef teriyaki appetizer and chicken curry. Everything was delicious! We both took doggy bags to go! Portions are really enormous. The side white rice was cooked perfect and the spicy side condiments are always a plus. We had a few different servers, but we encountered with Nino the most. Thanks to all the staff and chef. Such a fabulous lunch. Look forward to return soon. Private lot. Lots of parking.

Ok, first off, I called in our order for pick up. It was around 11:30 am and the thr guy who answered said they are behind on fulfilling the orders so our food would be ready in 45 minutes. Fine with that and he asked if I'm picking up at the drive thru or inside. I said drive thru and I was shocked they had a drive thru. Yay.. I ordered the Pad See Eww with Tofu and Vegetable Yellow Curry. The curry was delcious. And the pad see eww was also good. It didn't have the wok smokey flavors like other Thai restaurants I've been to but still good. Upon picking up my order (since this was my first time) I went to thr drive thru but missed the window to pick up. Epic fail on my part so I went in. Overall, delicious fast food Thai restaurant.

    4. Red Curry Lunch Special with chicken

Great spot for lunch! They have a nice lunch menu with something for everyone. Met a friend for lunch there and we were not disappointed. Word to the wise: don't show up right at opening but we were hungry. The restaurant is small and decorates are typical Thai restaurants but who really goes to a restaurant for decorations lol. I got the red curry lunch special with chicken level 7 (giving it a nice touch of heat to the dish). My friend got the broccoli lunch special with beef. The nice thing about the lunch special is it comes with soup, egg roll and fried crab wonton. Lots of food for a great price. Service was friendly and quick.

Experience: We were a party of 2 and waited about 10 mins for our table. Once seated we were greeted by our server. We have been here once before and dreamt about it since. Thankfully, the food quality matched what we remembered from our first experience. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and ended taking back to our hotel. Tom yum, pad kee mao, fried rice, curry and soft shell crab. Honestly, i felt like one of your foodie youtubers with the spread on our table. Each dish was made well and with care - we enjoyed every bite we were able to eat and would recommend coming here out of any place on the strip. Note: check our their whiskey list - they have alot of options from all.

We were not ushered until another area of offered water. I asked for water and found a place to wait it out. Our party was big and had two separate reservations. The restaurant was just opening and they could have sat us near each other per our request but they sat us separately and said they couldn't sit us near each other even though there were tables empty near where both of our tables were sat. Honestly, the food was mediocre. I had friends hype this restaurant up and it was not that good. Service wise--one of the kids spilled water and they brought new water without cleaning up the spill. They left ice cubes on the table and went about their business. I had to flag someone and asked to please clean it up. Unfortunately, we won't be back mainly because of service but also the food was just ok. We ordered garlic shrimp, larb, padsee, eggplant tofu, You all need better service. The waitress was fine, it was your other staff.

For a smaller neighborhood gem, getting that level of care and attention right at our table was incredibly impressive and made the meal feel truly special. No biggie, I understand that things get busy. Both dishes tasted far too sweet for me. Personal preference, I suppose. Biggest issue was the amount of rice given with the basil chicken. It barely amounted to two tablespoons. How is one expected to eat what is assumed to be a flavorful dish with such a paltry amount of rice, 9.95 or not? Also, the basil chicken mostly consisted of onions and peppers. Not traditional, so I assume it is used to bulk it up so the chicken can be skimped on. Skip this place!

This place does a great job on Thai curry. I know many reviews will say "the curry was good"…read morewithout any details, but let me give you the details. -They seem to use actual whole spices in the curries, you'll see flecks of coriander and lemongrass and such. I suspect they make their own curry paste. -The curry flavors are REALLY well balanced. Someone or some people with very good cooking sense are making their recipes and cooking. -Massaman curry is hard to get right, but theirs has the perfect mix of umami, tangy, sweet, salty. -Yellow curry can often be really bland and just like sweet coconut milk at other restaurants, but the yellow curry at Panna Thai is intense and chock-full of spices (you can see the spice pieces in it, probably coriander and other things) and it's one of their best curries, really excellent balanced and flavorful taste -They take care to prepare the vegetables well, and the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry has the perfect texture, the eggplant is very soft and melt-in-your mouth, I've never had bad vegetables in their curries -The coconut milk is very rich and thick and the curries are thick (not just like water) -Each curry tastes like what it's supposed to taste like and they all taste very different. I think the best taste is in the yellow curry, Massaman curry, red curry, and pumpkin curry. The curries are not oily, no layer of oil or little drops of oil, and don't seem to have seed oils in them (we asked and were told the curries are a good dish if you want to avoid seed oils) -The curries are consistently good and I've had them maybe 15x between dine-in, trying my husband's food, and delivery -- been great every time -The curry fillings are good -- chicken is tender, they include lots of vegetables, the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry is melt-in-your-mouth -They add the things that are supposed to be included in authentic curry (like Thai basil for the red curries, fish sauce, etc.) -They are accommodating to allergies and dietary preferences -They'll actually make the curry spicy if you request it, I have a high spice need/tolerance and this is one of the only places that will make it taste spicy to a level where I can feel it if I ask for their highest spice level -The jasmine rice is the best of anywhere I've eaten in Vegas -- so fresh, so bouncy/springy, high-quality rice grains, clearly handled well and rinsed prior to cooking, cooked perfectly every time I've had it. It's a big part of the experience of curry to have bouncy, high-quality jasmine rice to contrast with he creaminess of the curry, and this place does a great job with it. -The portions are large and I almost always take some home, delivery portions are pretty large, too There are only 3 Thai places in Vegas that I can say that about, and this is the only one in SW Vegas that I've found to be like this. the service is also great and you actually feel like a guest there. they have little extra touches like real candles. they do a great job with refilling water, lemon in your water, mints by the door, lots of extra touches. above-par Thai restaurant, please support them! and try the curries! I think most people would enjoy their yellow, Massaman, and pumpkin curries.
