As a competitive person for escape rooms I was disappointed the first lock of the puzzle was unlocked. They messed up forgetting to lock it. This game requires you to focus on time management and finishing in under an hour. I wish that I could have had the full correct experience with that one puzzle being properly locked rather than open making it easy to unsolve the first clue. The time it took me to coordinate this event was difficult. I called several times and it seemed like no one would pick up the phone. read more

Hands down one of the better escape rooms I've been to. It was my second time here but the first time for my group, and we all loved it. Upon arrival we were greeted by Gabi, who was awesome. She made us feel more than welcome and talked with us for a good 10 minutes about escape rooms, our experiences with them, and making the entire transition from check in to being locked in the room a fun one. Gabi handed us off to our game master, Leigha. Leigha was equally as awesome, making the experience of escaping the room really enjoyable by not spoon feeding us hints when we caved in and asked for a few of them, but making them like mini puzzles in and of themselves. It's something I've never really had a GM do before, and my group and I loved it! We did Tesla's Secret and genuinely enjoyed every second of it. The rooms (I've done Orient Express a now Tesla) are all really well thought out and challenging enough to prove difficult, but not so much so that you feel hopelessly stumped. That, to me, is a sign of quality room design. There are just enough breadcrumbs there to get you out in time, you just have to keep your eyes open. Can't wait to try out the other rooms and can't recommend this place highly enough! We look forward to going back. read more

what a fun spot! we came for the Bonnie and Clyde room at 930pm on Friday and had so much fun! I try to do new escape rooms monthly and I must say this one tricked me (we still escaped!!!). Our helper was amazing from start to finish. We were laughing and enjoying ourselves during the hour we had to escape. I'll absolutely be going back to try a harder room to see if we can get out. I took my 17 year old kid and a few friends for her birthday. They require a person over 18 in the room and the room is really tiny so I had to try to continually move around the room since I was always in the way and it was super uncomfortable. My family and I booked the Orient Express room for my cousin's birthday. It was a fantastic experience! Great atmosphere, clever puzzles -- challenging, but not frustrating. (I've also escaped from the Tesla and Houdini rooms in the past. Both equally awesome!) Our game master Shania was super friendly and helpful. We asked for a hint once, but apparently we were very close to figuring out the next puzzle on our own, so she didn't tell us the hint right away and offered some encouragement instead. My family, my partner, and I had so much here! It was personally my first time doing an escape room and we chose to do the Houdini room. And we escaped with literally 1 second to spare! Lol. Our gamemaster--I believe her name was Bethany--was great. Very funny and helpful when we needed it. Parking is metered on Reseda (but I believe free after 8). The location is very cool looking--a little vintagey-industrial sort of vibe. We had 4 people and it was $39 for each of us, which I thought was fair. One caveat though if you're claustrophobic, this may not be for you. I am not but my partner is and she did begin to feel a little anxious towards the end. Not horrible and did not ruin her experience but just a warning for those who are extremely claustrophobic. But overall, we had a great time and we left wanting to come back and try some of the other rooms. read more

I've been to two Architect Escape Room adventures and they've both been very fun. It's been easy to set up reservations, and I do recommend making one because they fill up! The rooms are clean and the puzzles are engaging and just challenging enough to be able to solve them and not reach a massive frustration point. Hints are only given if you ask for them and it seems they give them at whatever level you need. Meaning, if your group is more advanced, you'll get a hint that fits at that level. If your group is struggling, the hint will really help you out. The stories that go with the rooms are fun and interesting and the decor of the rooms adds to the stories. Went with my wife and another couple. This was a first for all four of us and it was super fun! The puzzles were challenging, but not to the point of frustration. Our Game Master, Bethany was always available if we needed a clue, which we did a couple of times. I would highly recommend this location to anyone thinking about trying an escape room. What an amazing experience. Our first escape room. Found this place searching for family friendly escape rooms. What makes it family friendly is the fact that each experience can be modified in difficulty level. The staff really was amazing. The props were perfectly set within the era the room represented. We selected the Bonnie and Clyde theme. So much fun!!! My 13 and 10 year old were amazing with solving the clues. The clues were cleaver and tricky. We did have to ask for a few clues, but were able to escape within 40 minutes. Can not wait to go back and try the other rooms. Such a great way to spend quality time with my family. Our group did the Orient Express and we def plan on coming back to do the Bonnie & Clyde. But the one thing that was most memorable was the customer service. I love the escape rooms here. They are challenging, and some of the clues are so well hidden, and yet in plain sight. They really do take their clues to the next level. We went on Valentine's Day (it's becoming a tradition) and did "Tesla's Secret"; which is apparently the hardest room. We did manage to get out, we did need a clue. My family and I really enjoyed this escape room! We did the Houdini room and loved it. This was our 3rd room And we finished it with 6 minutes to spare. The environment is welcoming, there is metered parking outside (and after 8pm it's free), and the room was fantastic. We felt that there was a lot of thought and individual attention placed into the room and are still scratching our heads at some of the effects. Out of the four rooms they currently have, I've done houdinis hideout & teslas secret. Both of these rooms are fairly advanced and very interactive. Houdinis hideout is like a 1st generation escape room while Teslas secret is a 1st, leaning to 2nd generation escape room. (Generations = how advanced in technology the rooms are) They are currently in the process of adding two new rooms which I am excited to try out. The hosts here are very friendly and are very patient if you do come late to your reservations. The stories are interesting and I had a great experience with my friends when completing these escape rooms. read more

I did the Orient Express room with my husband and the Houdini room with a friend. Both rooms were fun and challenging. Different in their own ways. Roberta was our hostess each time. She was extremely nice and patient with us. She gave us clues when we were so stumped that we had to ask for help. Even though we could not have solved everything in one hour by ourselves, she helped us "escape" the rooms by giving us a little extra time and by giving us these clues. It allowed us to see how the game worked and it was so much fun to be able to actually complete it! I came here for a team building function for work and it was my first experience with an escape room. Long story short: I would DEFINITELY come again next time I am in the area. We showed up about an hour early as we had quite an itinerary of team building that day and our planner did a great job accounting for any unexpected traffic in the area. When we rang the doorbell and asked if we could at least come inside from the heat to wait, we were ushered inside and told that we could get started as soon as we were ready. GREATLY appreciated! The host that day was very enthusiastic and really set the tone for the escape room while maintaining a cheerful attitude (again, despite us showing up an hour early...). We attempted the Orient Express escape room and had a blast. There were many unexpected tricks around the room and even the "obvious" clues required some thinking to figure out what they meant. We experienced the Houdini's Hideout room. As a group, we are pretty experienced but we were not fond of this room. Throughout the hour, someone was always in your way. There were also way too many locks, so you don't really know what clues go to what; you just gotta try everything. The only thing I truly liked about this place was the complementary photo they took after completing your room; they encouraged you to grab a prop from the room and it just added to the experience. read more
