Great location with an outdoor patio! The service was great the entire time. The waitress was great with suggesting different foods and drinks off the menu. Ordered a flight with a variety of different beers. I enjoyed each one but I believe their IPA was the best! The Cubano sandwich I ordered was delicious as well. A great brewery in Belmont!

One of the best patios around GR. They were out of a couple beers including a pineapple sour I'd love to come back and try! The elote dip was amazing, sometimes these dips can get bogged down by cream cheese, this one was perfect and had great flavor!

Went there Cz I heard they are the new hot vegan friendly place. It was an amazing setup, however they didn't meet vegan expectations. I ordered vegan Falafal sandwich and specially asked to remove all dairy products but yet I got dairy on my sandwich, what part of vegan is not clear at a restaurant that have vegan options, so disappointed. Beer options were great though.

The falafel burger is humongous. I upgraded to truffle fries for (($4 up charge)) so I won't do that again. My husband got the Cuban and he said it was delicious. He got kettle chips, and those were amazing!

Delicious food. Delicious drinks. Spacious indoor seating... but the outdoor seating is where it's at. A perfect place to have lunch or dinner outside in the summer!

It was too cold and blustery to sit outside but inside had a nice cozy view of the sunset too. There are quite a few gluten free items to choose on the menu which is one of the reasons we chose to stop here to eat in Belmont just outside of where we were staying the night in Grand Rapids. Our server was a sweetheart. The flavor of the Seoul Food Poutine was outstanding and is not to be missed. Sadly it wasn't served hot enough but I think it's because the kitchen is downstairs and it cooled rapidly on a chilly night. We also ordered the goat cheese and sausage pizza which came out way undercooked. They made us another which was more well done with nice crispy edges and the flavor was really good. Gluten free crust is tricky to get right and I suggested pre baking the crust before topping then baking again. I loved the native wildflower garden outside, the use of locally sourced ingredients and philosophy of building community that this thoughtful brewery exhibits.

We were looking for a good brewery with a calm relaxing view. The view here was nice as we sat on the outer deck. Yes it overlooked the parking lot, and you could see a nearby subdivision. But it was a pretty day with blue skies and green grass during the summer. Now for why it only got 2 stars. The service was not good. They were slow and with only intermittent attentiveness. We wanted to eat here, but we didn't want to spend the whole day waiting. So we had 2 flights of some of the worst beer we had ever tasted. We taste a lot, so I feel like I have a right to say when beer is bad. The amount of hops in the beers was so strong, the taste was like drinking liquid marijuana. Maybe you like that. We do not. Then there were so many children running around unattended to that you couldn't just enjoy a peaceful time on such a beautiful day. It was a bummer. We will not be back. Fortunately, we found some other places the next day that made up for it.

Hundreds of Hops 2024 Self-guided Tour Stop #29 A beautiful place with fabulous outdoor seating, good beer & staff that either hate their job, hate people, or both. Our 2nd worst stop to date. We came in as a party of 3 for beer only & were advised there would be a wait for a table. We again asked about just getting beer at the bar, as we could see 3 open stools. Staff seemed less than thrilled but told us to go ahead. It was busy & kept getting busier, leading us to expect great things to come. After getting seated, we adv the barkeep that we had 2 passports between us, and each passport holder would be getting 2 (each good for half off your first 2 beers), for a total of 4, so 2 tabs was fine, or however they needed to do it. They recommended we take 3 now & grab the 4th once one of us finished, so it wouldn't get warm, cool... They then proceeded to tell us at the end that we couldn't each redeem our discount, as they only allowed one discount per party. They would not run it as 2 bills and offered to stamp both passports anyway. As the stamp is to acknowledge use of the discount, they were willing to mark it as used to prevent redemption in the future but not redeem it - not cool. We explained that we notified them in advance but didn't continue to insist- we just paid and left without allowing them to stamp the 2nd book. I can't say I'll go back to use my book. At least I have the option & the gal with us did get to use hers, as she won't have another opportunity to. Staff were clearly annoyed with several other customers & just seemed generally unhappy. It was an odd experience considering how welcoming and customer-focused the other breweries were. The beer simply isn't good enough to get away with acting like that. I get it - they were slammed but didn't appear short staffed. Anywho, it was a bit disappointing. UPDATE: They reached out to us from a post made elsewhere to address the visit. Taking ownership always rates high in my book, so, props for that!

I've been back to Archival several times since they opened and have always had good experiences. The building is airy and open, and they have a covered outdoor deck as well as a dog-friendly beer garden. The views of the park and disc golf course are pretty, and we even saw a lively fox running around outside during our last visit. The menu is unique and features different food than you usually find at other breweries. As of March 2024 some of the interesting menu items include a soft shell crab sandwich, quesa birria quesadilla, gochujang chicken and waffles, and butter chicken. On our most recent visit, I just went with the bacon cheddar burger, but it was really tasty and well made. I appreciate the options for sides - all sandwiches come with their delicious fries or you can sub broccoli salad, steamed broccoli, a cup of soup, Brussels sprouts salad, Caesar salad, or truffle potatoes! I went with the steamed broccoli and it was a large portion, nicely crisp-tender, and seasoned well. Nate got the quesa birria quesadilla which was so good, with lots of tender meat and melty cheese. We've never had any issues with service. I am not much of a beer drinker these days, but Nate has enjoyed the beers he's tried at Archival. They focus on historic style microbrews, which is really unique in the sea of many breweries in the area. They have weekly food features, weekend brunch, a lunch combo deal during the week, and live music, bingo, and game night. A fun spot!

First time trying - great food. Did a great job with gluten free for my celiac mom. We did a drink flight - any 6 beverages in the flight. Dip flight for appetizers - YUMMMM I got the tuna, sister got the tacos & celiac mom was very excited to get gf fish & chips! Will be back! Parking super easy. Looks like there is a great outside area when it's nice out. Live music was setting up while we finished our meal. Table tent said they gave trivia nights too

As I was reading the Michigan BrewTrail magazine I ran across their advertisement page, and was confused that it had a Grand Rapids address so It prompted me to do a little research. After a deep dive I found out that they are a farm/farmers market and a restaurant, cider/winery. If you Yelp search you won't find their restaurant, cider/winery because it pops up as Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market. This new Pink Barrel Cellars page should help separate this from just a farmers market, and help highlight some of their amazing food and drink. I went on their last day of live music according to their online schedule. When I showed up the parking lot was full and there was well over 100 people there. If you go inside you will immediately notice that this place is so much more than a farmers market. In the back they have a bar serving some amazing ales, seltzers, stouts, ciders, and wine by the glass. In the middle they have fresh donuts, wine by the bottle, fresh fruits and vegetables for sale. Near the front they have a food stand. All the employees were spectacular and very informative. I had many questions, and they were all very Knowledgeable. Found out they have a few beers that have won national beer awards. For lunch I wound up ordering the pretzel with beer cheese, and ordered a honeycrisp ale. The shareable size of the menu isn't joking. It's very large and you're gonna want to share. I was so full after my pretzel that I couldn't even think about a second beer. The beer cheese was the BEST beer cheese I've ever eaten in my life. It was out of this world. The beer was also pretty spectacular. The beer was so good that I couldn't resist the urge to buy some wine by the bottle with the hopes it was just as good. I enjoyed everything at their outdoor seating while listening to live music. If I had gone with someone I definitely would of taken advantage of cornhole and drank wine by the glass. After eating I couldn't resist walking around the farm that had a ton of people running and smiling. In the back I observed the piggies, Eddie and Joe, napping. Also got to say hi to their pony's and goats . I walked through the orchard, and also the pick your own pumpkin patch. They have a huge slidefor the kids, and a playground. Highly recommend following this place on social media to stay up to date on menu changes, and event updates. Such an eventful Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth the visit.

The owner, regulars, and bartenders are like surrogate brothers/sisters and watch out for everyone there - new acquaintances and old friends. Everyone is marvelously welcoming, and the place has a quirky local pub vibe. The place is small and intimate, so you don't walk in without walking out with new friend. I have brought my young daughter here for years (we grab a Fanta from next door at Chicago Style Gyro for her - that glorious place is a whole other 5 star review) and the people here treat her like their beloved niece. This will be the place she celebrates her 21st at. The cider here is unimaginably delicious. The seasonal selections and the staple flavors are all wins. Devout beer-only drinkers, hard cider experimenters, and cider connoisseurs will find something delicious to drink there. And every dollar stays local -with all local ingredients and local production. I highly recommend stopping by in summer to experience grabbing a cold mug of PCC cider, finding a seat in their patio, and watching the cars go by while the sun sets over Leonard. And the hot cider in winter is soul soothing especially while watching the snow blow outside.

The environment is fantastic as well--small, small Irish pub with some vinyl you can request to be played. The barkeep shook my hand and introduced himself with my first order. This place gives ya hope in the fact that others in the world still accept all types of people as PEOPLE.
