Awesome arepas... Cachapas y empanadas ...must go..!! And the people are genuinely nice...!

Damn. This place is amazing!! I will say this--stick to the arepas. Everything else is great, for sure, but the arepas..... God damn!

I didn't grow up eating arepas, but I've had my fair share of homemade and store arepas to know what's good and what's not. These were ok at the moment, but not anything memorable (like much of Orlando's food unfortunately). They seemed very overpriced as well. The late hours were a nice convenience though! read more

As authentic as you can get if you want some Venezuelan food. You can't go wrong in this place really tasty.

This place has great food. I always get the chicken arepa with Guayanese cheese. It's really good. They have super long hours, til like 4 o'clock in the morning. I would give them 5 stars but their service is not as great as it could be. read more

I've come to this place since it open, back when it made sense to pay $5 for an arepa.... But now this place it's a joke.... The owner of this place must be the most miserable person to actually tell a client that for 6 dollars you only get 2 shrimps... Yes 2... But for 8$ you'll get more... An arepa it's a 3" diameter, how much more shrimp can you put to justify 2 extra dollars... Bottom line. Best Late-Night Grub. Chicken soup during regular hours is homemade and delicious. Definitely a go-to place!

The food here is wonderful. A unique venezualean mix of foods and flavors. The juices there are the real deal full of full natural flavors with none of the extra added flavors or corn syrups. THIEVES! Stuffed Arepas are advertised as $5.50 plus tax and I was charged $6.00 when I bought an arepa. Orlando sales tax is 6.5% which brings it to 5.85 not 6.00 which means they steal .15 cents on every purchase.When I confronted the cashier and the manager all they did was laugh in my face and tell me "we do this to help the customers, it's easier that way!" Midnight had the munchies.... rolled up, greeted by friendly staff and obviously it was a language barrier because I ordered 2 arepas, one with pork and cheese and the other with chicken salad and cheese. I recieved one combination of the two. I didn't think this combination would of worked but it actually tasted very good. The chicken salad was very good, along with the pork. I never had a arepas before so I cant speak on the authenticity but the flavor was plentiful. Because I'm a hearty eater, I thought getting one wouldn't fill me, but I was wrong. Underwhelming, pricey and a just plain RUDE staff. I give three stars to the food. The staff should all be REPLACED and then trained properly on basic customer service. The prices i thought were also high compared to how much it costs to make arepas... BUT my biggest disappointment was how rude these women were. It was as if i personally owed them something! Plus the restaurant must have been 105 degrees... Unbearable. So, train your staff a tad on how to greet and treat customers... Had to finally go here because the husband raves about this place,(yes, the same guy that puts banana peppers and mushrooms in chili so I never know what to expect). At first glance from the outside, it looks sketchy (oh was I looking at the husband asking, really?!), but once inside I was ok because it looks much better on inside than from the street view. I ordered the pabellon venezolano (shreaded pork, maduros, white rice, and arepa). It was good and cheap (always a plus for lunch), and it was a huge order that I was not even close to finishing it (but I had. Oh, and don't forget the sauces. I like the mixture of the green and white sauce (similar to a cucumber garlic sauce). I saw arepa sandwiches being made which looked really good so I think I am definitely going to try one of those next time. This is my favorite place to get authentic, great tasting arepas. They have great food at a low price. My favorite kind is the shredded chicken with queso blanco (white cheese). I love the mango juice they serve as well. I have tried other places and they just don't compare in portion size and taste. read more

This place was horrible!!! Came tonight for my usual and when I took a bite out of it something didn't taste right, I asked my boyfriend to try it to see if it was just me but something was definitely off. We brought it up to their attention and when the waiter came back he said he and the owner had tried our food ask that there was nothing wrong with it. Needless to say the customer service was horrible but we ordered another arepa with a different cheese which we thought was what made it taste funky. As we're waiting for the next arepa another customer comes back to return his arepa cause the cheese didn't taste right and this lady has the nerve to say the same thing to him!! That the cheese is fine, there's nothing wrong with it like we hadn't just complained about it!!! Horrible customer service horrible food safety practices!! First of all the service is the worst. I ask for an empanada of beef and another one with chicken, and they brought me the beef one and a empanada with cheese instead which I could only noticed until my first bite. When I notice that they had mess up my order I went to the counter and told them nicely that they had mess up my order which is normal on a food place. And the two ladies working there were like no! You order cheese and that's what u got and if you want your chicken empanada you are going to have to pay for another empanada. To make things shorter here i resume everything said by saying that I ended up being kick out of this place i did not get my chicken empanada and the cheese empanada that they had charge me for they throw it away, and I believe that's not the way to treat a loyal customer that has been eating there for the last 4 years. The correcct way that this situation had to be handle was by simply giving me what i had order period. the customer is always right not your employees. Or at least that what i teach at sears holdings incorporated. U lost a customer for life along with my family which is big.
