NOT TO BE MISSED! Food and service top notch! I've been following Tina's Bakery when they were in Park City and very excited they moved closer and opened a new concept, an Argentinian café, on 4th S 7th E, kiddy corner by the Hires Burgers and accessible by TRAX. Vale the owner has done an amazing job; everything from menu, design, presentation and the service. Perfect! I grabbed pastries for my team at work because I wanted something different than donuts, Argentinian pastries are not overly sweet but just right. My team loved the pastries. I'm Argentinian too so it was great to see offering of traditional pastries here in SLC and they actually taste very good, not everyone gets them right. Pastries are baked fresh. Facturas, chocolate pistachio and medialunas are all good. The pasta flora is similar in texture to a lemon bar but it's not tart, and it's the best one I've tried. They offer traditional Argentinian sandwiches along with empanadas (I love their pulled pork) and they do special menus on the weekends with traditional barbecue. I will definitely be back and bringing my family and friends.

I love it here! Chorizo Picante empanada was delicious, and the Danish I got was amazing. There is wifi available for studying, and plenty of seating available indoors and outdoors.

Great beef empanadas. Empanadas are filled with savory beef. Everyone was really nice. Tables clean. Cute decor too.

Dulce de Leche dessert and pork empanada.

Very nice customer service and inside of the cafe. They had one of the best affogatos I've ever tasted. We got our empanadas baked and not fried. The spicy chicken empanada was good and I especially love the crust. It really helps what type of empanada you are getting is printed on it when you get more than one kind (see photo). I also thought there was a lot of filling. I would recommend this place.

    Tasty medialunas (croissants).

I was really put off by this because we were not the only group waiting for an extended time and the two orders in front of us were incorrect so they had to get their adjustments. They are trying to find a theme (they are going with 90's pop culture I guess) and the place feels much homier than the last time we were in. The empanadas were OK. The cheese in my potato egg and cheese was almost like a fake nacho/American cheese. I would not get it again. We also didn't get any sauce and this was one of the best parts when we have been in before. Really hoping this was a glitch- but be warned- don't expect grab and go!

Everything on the menu looks delicious so naturally we had to try several empanadas and the bola's. We can't say enough about how delicious every empanada was! And the bolas were also so delicious! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and had a lovely conversation, they are the nicest people! They also mentioned that they get their cheese from Argentina, which makes all the difference! The decor and ambiance is fantastic and if you're a 90's fan you'll love sitting on the famous "Friends" couch! Highly recommend and will be back soon!

I tried the beef empanada and really enjoyed the flavorful filling. The pastry was light, flaky, and perfectly crisp. They also had a great selection of bottled drinks, so I tried a traditional purple corn drink. It was sweet, lightly spiced, and unlike anything I'd had before. It was a fun addition to the meal. The shop was very clean with cute décor, although seating is somewhat limited. The staff were friendly, gave great recommendations, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

There are a few spaces out front, which you end up having to back out into the main road, so be careful! There are some spots in the back lot, but trying to get out is a tight squeeze. I ended up parking across the street in the neighborhood and making my way to the crosswalk and over. The space inside is tight too. There isn't much sitting space; just a long bench with maybe 5 seats if you're trying to dine in. But it is a cute space, and the empanadas are worth the visit. I tried the chicken Gallina and chicken empanadas (savory) and got the applie pie and peach empanadas for dessert. I loved both of my savory empanadas!!!!! Omg I want to come in and try all the flavors. Both dessert empanadas were great, but the apple pie was my fave with the extra crunch on top. Oh my... I was in heaven! I will also say that the hours are a little wonky and it's hard to make it on time, if you're commuting, but worth it! The hours they keep are due to sometimes being at different markets. But overall I loved my experience and will be back for more!
