I've been coming here to support my local nail shop, has been going down hill. I only stayed because I had a gift card to spend. Front desk super dusty and dirty makes you wonder how clean everything else is. Customer services was better and welcoming not anymore. Very disappointed as other family members and friends feel the same. I guess when you try to juggle too many businesses one will not be so great. For as much money we spend here it should be clean and welcoming since there are so many other businesses to choose from, I will be taking my business somewhere else. Don't fall for the dusty old fake balloons in the front of the store gimmicks to make it look inviting. Save your money and time so many other options out there! Just visited for my second time for an acrylic fill after getting a full set almost 4 weeks ago. Jason and Aubrey serviced my nails, and we had Anna take care of me and my 9yo sons pedicures. He LOVES the jelly pedicures here and Anna was so patient and kind! I'm pretty picky about my nails but Jason and Aubrey were very attentive and detailed. I came in to try this new place. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I just needed a pedicure and went ahead and decided to give the 24k Gold a try. The pedicure was ok, enjoyed the longer massage it came with. For 98$ i think it was "ok". They do bring you a glass of champagne but at 11am i wasn't going to drink. I'm sure others enjoyed it since other ladies did finish their cups. I had told the technician prior to starting that i dislike rounded nails and i need them as square as possible. My main concerns with pedicures are application and my nail shape. The first thing she does is round out my nails, you would think squaring out a nail as a nail tech shouldn't be too hard right? Well i was already disappointed. Then the actual gel application was applied on my cuticles and i could see it and she ignored it. Okay so to explain my rating: 1. Star one is removed for how long it took, 5:30pm-8pm for a pedicure. They were a little busy so Amy helped me she was sweet but not hip to the new techniques like French tips. 2. The second star was removed for the price. I felt that there service didn't match there service given. I had to switch nail techs mid service which is a inconvenience. She had to remove the previous nails tech work to start new. So the "luxury" feeling I was trying to achieve ended become tiring. I left paying $120 on my French tip pedicure, which I wouldn't mind but why so many up charges ? Less hidden fees. & a straight price quote at the least especially for those kind of prices. I suggest consulting clients. On the bright side of things I love seeing the women work together, the hospitality and overall aesthetics I've missed from the Bay Area. If I were to go back I know to bring a $$ and I know I would be going straight to boss lady ! But I know that I would be happy another time if I were to go back. Aria Nail Bar is a nice & clean local spot for nails. I got a walk in deluxe pedicure for $52 before tip. The employees were polite and took care of me promptly and offered me a beverage. I was helped by Sandy- she was attentive and I felt relaxed as she checked in with me throughout the pedicure and did not rush through it like how some other salons do. She actually provided a thorough scrub/exfoliation and massage as described in the service, and cleaned the cuticles well. My feet felt super soft and clean after. I liked the overall service more than other local spots in Hayward and would try it out again. read more

I tried Aria Nail Bar when they first opened and was not very impressed with the work. The nail tech struggled to create the design I requested, and after multiple nail techs attempted, someone finally got it to a somewhat similar style. I decided to try them again, only to be completely disappointed. I went in to get an acrylic fill. The nail tech could not figure out how to make the design I requested, so someone else had to try, but they still couldn't. I noticed the gel on my nails was not drying, and one nail was completely ruined; the gel was clumped up. I informed the nail tech, and she told me it was normal for the nails to be sticky (however, these nails were clearly nowhere near dry). She then realized she could easily scrape off the gel. So then she redid one nail and realized the same issue was still happening. I am unsure what the issue was and why the nails weren't drying because I had two different colors on my nails, so idk if it was the polish or some other issue. My nails had to be redone then, and given they couldn't figure out how to make the design I wanted, I requested just to get one solid color and no design. I had been at the salon for so long already and just wanted to leave. The price was also outrageous, $65 for a FILL! and one day later, one of my nails has already chipped. read more

Moved to Hayward a month ago, so I was skeptical about going to a new place because we know how that can go. The service was amazing! The regular pedicure itself includes a mini massage, which lasted more than I thought. The best cleaning was done out of every spot I've been to, so so so well around the nail/cuticle/under nails, you choose one drink, either a mimosa, juice, wine, or water. I booked a mani pedi and a kids mani pedi. I confirmed this when I checked in. As my pedicure was finished Jenny confirmed that I wanted the same polish on my nails as my toes. All of a sudden there was no time for my manicure and it was not booked in the system. I was asked if I got a confirmation, which I did. I got an apology as I was paying to which I stated I would just get a manicure elsewhere. I was then offered to come back later the same day which I declined. Although there was no time for my service they were taking walk ins and booking more appointments by phone. I come to Aria often and will not be back again. All of this after I waited an hour after my appointment time the prior visit. read more

I come here regularly and for the most part I make my appointments with the same people each time. The other nail techs are questionable. I like that it is clean, fairly quiet and they offer mimosas. The problem I have is their appointment system. I should not have to wait more than 15 mins after my scheduled appointment because you are squeezing in walk ins. I have had to wait 45+ mins after my scheduled appointment time. Appointments should be prioritized and walk-ins should know that you have an appointment coming in so once they arrive they (the walk-in person) should wait until someone is available to finish their service. They also will try to switch up the person you made an appointment with because they are taking walk-ins or because a walk in requested a specific person. Uhh... didn't I make an appointment in advance with the person I wanted? This is a big issue for me but other than that I have no complaints. read more

I have came here about 4/5 times i believe and david is the only one i would recommend here. he takes his time to really clean you up and square shape is soo good but unfortunately the other ladies are rude and rush or the square is rounded and some toe nails come out crooked. i tried liking this place and giving it so many chances after rude attitude on 2 different occasions and once about losing my apt in their system and then being accused of lying about having an appt even after i showed them the confirmations i received via text... the place is nice and clean for the most part and love the complimentary drink especially when you come in with a friend but this last time i booked an appointment on the phone with them for 2 pedicures for 6:15, i arrive at 6:10 because they said if im late they may cancel my appointment since they close at 7. no problem right, when i get there they take my friend first and no one started me until 6:30, i understand but at the same time if im booking an appointment they should be ready for both of the clients at the agreed time especially being that they close soon and want to get out on time. At that point i felt like the person i got (jenny) was just rushing and tired. my gel chipped off as she was massaging me and then just tried to paint over it. luckily i do nails so i asked her to atleast dehydrate before because i had lotion already on my nails... obviously the polish wasn't going to last long with lotion on the nails . after she got so red likr she knew i caught her just rushing instead of doing what was necessary which really upset me because this place isn't cheap and if i didnt know any better or didn't want to speak up i would've had to go back. also i asked for ferrari red and i got this bright orange because she didn't do the right amount of coats needed :/ also be careful with the colors in general i guess because I had gotten a ballerina pink the previous time and my bestfriend wanted it this time so we already knew the number and name and they confirmed on the samples but when she started painting it was a whole different color ! luckily she didn't mind wiping it off but if i hadn't noticed it would've been too late to say something without the technician getting upset. read more

I was extremely reluctant to try a new place everywhere in Hayward has horrible nail service or once was good and business just became bad. I drove by this place down Hesperian and this is such a beautiful shop. Not only is it beautiful. My nails service was great Amy to care of me by removing my nails in an efficient manner and Anna was great at doing my full set typically, and every nail salon when I give instructions, they never listen to me whether I want them extremely squared or extremely pointed today. It was my first time getting long nails. Ana did such an amazing job to complete my full sad. She took her time. I felt like a small like service. They even have complementary drinks. Generally I'm not the type that doesn't like to talk during any type of service but you can't help yourself with these ladies. I will be coming back to see Ana! The salon is very clean, very modern decor, and a really relaxing atmosphere, everyone were really nice and very professional. They even service complimentary drinks, too bad I have to drive or else I would have had some. Their services were great. Went for a mani and pedi. Had a great experience with the pedicure and the girl was very sweet but I'm very unsatisfied with how my manicure turned out. I paid $130 in total, $55 for the pedicure and $75 for a basic set of acrylics with all uneven nail shapes. I tried to communicate nicely with the manicurist regarding one of my nails but she just seemed so dismissive and inattentive from the start. So, I gave up on trying to relay what I wanted. I came here yesterday with my two girls, and everyone was nice and all, I spent over $200 and my pedicure is already coming off. I told the lady not to cut my cuticles , only my nails, and she still managed to cut my big toe. It was bleeding bad and stung. I asked for come round toes, and it's all uneven. Smh. I went for the first time on Saturday 2/17/24 and I got me a set of pedicure and manicure...my pedicure process was a great experience the girl was super sweet but my manicure with one of the guys in the salon was not. I showed the guy a picture of the nail polish I wanted and say oh I know what colors...well I got none of the colors. The guy did not bother to make sure I was happy with my nails. Now It's only been two days since my manicure and well the manicure is gone. I would not go back to this place unless I really need a pedicure but for a manicure 100% will not. read more

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS PRICING. My daughter and I went in. I got a $40 pedicure, and a fill on my nails, came out to $100, My daughter got a full set, with french tips. TELL ME WHY THEY CHARGED ME $100 FOR HER AS WELL. When i questioned it, they told me they charge for the "shape as well as the french tip". THEY REALLY CHARGED ME $200. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS HERE AFTER THEY FIRST TOLD ME IT SHOULD BE AROUND $150. Very nice clean place but be careful of all the up charges. I came her for a mani/pedi in July when they had 10% off. It started with the pedi and they asked me what kind of wrap I wanted. I said no I just want the classic pedi. Then they were trying to convince me to get gel on my feet. I prefer not to get gel on my feet because I prefer regular polish on my feet. May try this place again but scared of all the hidden fees! It ended up being expensive which I would understand if it was an expensive area...but it's not...overall I prefer a Newark location with more reasonable prices. read more

I called a head to see what their walk-in wait time was and they said "come in, no wait time". I live 10 minutes away so not much should have changed from when I called to when I arrived. I get there, check in and when they ask what I want they tell me it'll be about a 10 minute wait. Okay, cool, no problem! I wait in the lobby. 10, 20, 30,40 minutes go by. They come and check on me and say it'll be another 5 minutes. I waited an hour and a half and still they are not ready. I wouldn't have minded if they just told me it's going to be an hour plus till we can do your nails. But don't say there's no wait time, and then say 10 minutes, 5 minutes when I hats not the case. Specifically talking about pedicures, but I am that girl that rather pay for a clean and actual good pedicure service, then going to those cheaper fast paste Non clean reused supplies, but being honest you can just get if I'm correct, the basic or the second bundle and add the gel which is $15 extra and is basically a regular price pedicure and other salons compared just cleaner and complementary drinks on the side. I had called in to inquiry about a acrylic overlay, no pedicure with french tip and I was told $60 on the phone so I went ahead and booked the appointment. Once I come into the salon which wasnt busy which was nice, I had asked the lady if she could do colored nude base for the acrylic and draw the french tips because thats how other places usually do it. They start talking in Vietnamese not knowing im Vietnamese myself so I just stayed quiet. But they tried to change the price on me but then the lady that was doing my toes said that 60 was fine. The acrylic overlay on my toes were so thick they didn't even try to file it down. One of the techs are very rude too! Another customer was getting a pedicure and she wanted a french tip like me but didnt know what they where called because she never did it before nor spoke english very good.
