They ruined my table by carelessly throwing it in the garage . They claim the damage was already there but it was a brand new table . They have taken no accountability and refuse to pay for the damages . The manager won't call me back after several and I mean several attempts at emailing and calling . Do not use this company! As others have stated, they arrived quickly, seemingly experienced, and trustworthy immediately following a fire. I had no experience dealing with the after effects of a fire and was happy to have them assisting and guiding me through the process. All was well until it came to having my household items returned. I have been overly understanding and patient in allowing them time to "find" the items that were lost or stolen. There have been assurances to make this right and they have acknowledged some of the items as being in their possession and being lost. Eventually, they just ignored my calls and emails. I finally received an email from Jim, the owner, claiming no responsibility and actually blaming me because they made a couple of trips to return items throughout the restoration. He also illuded to other workers in my home that could have taken the items even though the only other person besides Arizona Packout who was in my home on the days following the fire was the insurance adjuster. I am more than willing to work with them to resolve this matter, but it seems they have absolutely no interest in doing this other than to blame me for their shortcomings and ignore any responsibility in making it right. read more

I'm writing a new review because the owner of the company replied to my last review using my full name; which is highly inappropriate. I'll stick to the most important and relevant facts now that I've gathered a lot more information about this company from other reviews on multiple sites. Please read reviews/complaints and consider the F rating on the BBB website if you're considering working with this company or have had issues. From my research I have learned that the consumer complaints are all very similar to mine. The biggest concerns being: 1) Outrageously high prices. 2) Work that was not completed yet people are charged for it. 3) People feeling taken advantage of in a vulnerable situation. 4) Horrific experiences with customer service and extreme disrespect and lack of concern about issues reported. People have complained about everything from being ignored or mocked to being attacked and even cursed at. 5) Damages to personal items in their care and missing property. 6) Non- response to concerns or hostile responses if they even get a response. 7) Blaming consumers when mistakes are made rather than taking ownership or having genuine concerns when things go wrong. 8) Making promises and not following through. 9) Taunting and harassing customers. 10) Other professionals in the industry who know full well about this company and their tactics, which is why they are well known for not being a reputable company. They will create new business pages on Google, Facebook etc. to hide consumer reviews and not take accountability. Former employees who have left the company who speak of their horrible business practices, dishonesty and terrible treatment of customers. That last point alone speaks volumes. Go to the BBB and read the reviews/complaints there as well as here. The insults and mocking of customers with serious and valid concerns when the company replies to reviews will give you a glimpse of the kind of treatment you should expect if you are unfortunate enough to get tangled up with any problems while working with this company. The pictures are of damaged furniture I was told would be replaced months ago that was never taken care of. There were many other issues, but I've decided to modify my review to focus on more important issues because my situation (no matter how awful) pales in comparison to what many others have been through. Do not trust this company. They don't tell you what your charges are until they bill you . They charge you for services that don't apply. They charged us $2499.23 for approximately $600 worth of services. They are not accredited with the BBB. Eco-dry sent them to do the job. We had nothing to do with hiring them. I know for a fact you are ignoring that you damaged my furniture. it's been over a month now. when I called you over a week ago, you sound very upset with me and didn't want to help me at all. People need to know the truth before they go hiring you people. ***Recap of what happened On October 10th, our furniture was delivered from AZ Packout due to a recent water damage in our lower floor. It turns out 3 of our items were damaged. It was a large desk, leather loveseat, and bar table. They even left someone else's furniture in my garage even after we told them it wasn't ours. I took a picture and emailed Bailey about someone else's property being left in my garage and still no ones reached out to me to pick it up. When I first reported the damages, AZ Packout said they would contact me when they go through the chain of commands. It sounded like a complicated process and they kept telling me it takes time. Well, it's been over a month and a half close to 2 months and I'm still getting the runaround. I've emailed and called them several times and I get the same BS. It turns out that our large desk was supposedly a non salvage item and AZ Packout should've put that on the invoice so that my insurance would reimburse me for that. As for the other items, we told them to forget about the leather couch since we had already replaced it but the bar table is so wobbly it's about to fall apart. All I've ever asked for was a resolution and for them to get it fixed! I continued to complain to Rocky Mountain Water restoration who referred them to me. I didn't even want to use a packing company but Rocky Mountain said it was part of their process. Long story short, on November 18th, Rocky Mountain gave me the contact info of the owner Jim of AZ Packout and advised me to reach out to him. I mentioned that it may not get me anywhere because it sounded like it was his idea to turn my large desk into a non salvage item after the fact that they had already broken it. Rocky Mountain advised me to try anyway and the owner was so rude. He was so upset with me because I mentioned my bar table being wobbly and he said he was confused and don't understand. He sounded irritable. I proceeded to ask why he sounded so upset and it seemed like he didn't want to help me. I also told him he had the worst customer service and all he said was "ok". So I hung up on him due to his ignorance and neglect. I have asked AZ Packout to email me the invoices they sent my insurance company. It looks like they had charged my insurance company deceiving charges over $11,000 worth. This company is not BBB accredited and they have several complaints on the BBB website. I hope one day this company gets caught for its crookedness. Be aware don't ever use always refuse even if your water company says it's a part of their procedure. Call me crazy for writing this review about eight years after I had a flood in my house, but this company was awful, and what they did to me still sticks in my craw. I was out of town at the time of the flood, and my insurance company recommended them to me. Time was of the essence, so I went along. Big mistake, and I've never gotten over how horrible they were at a time when I was stressed out and needed help. What bothers me the most is that they stole things from me, most of them small things (although not the pearl necklace that was my mother's) but really? Stealing from the people you've been hired to help? And the way they packed was absurd. Nobody could be this stupid. Where is the lid to the Scrabble game? I mean, how does such a thing get lost in the first place? Why is it even off the box? It felt as if they took pleasure in screwing things up. Our family bibles (my mother's, my dad's, my grandmother's) got all messed up (bent and torn at the edges) because they were packed so poorly. One time, when I told Jim that a bunch of my expensive shoes were missing, he brought over someone else's not-so-great shoes all thrown together in one big box. When I told him that the shoes he'd brought were not mine, he grinned and asked if I wanted to keep them. I thought, "Oh, are you doing the same thing with my stuff?" That said a LOT about who he is: a sleaze bag without a shred of integrity. I so regret having used this company. I marvel that they're still in business. read more

Much like other reviews, we were pushed into using Arizona Pack Out from our restoration company (Bingham) and assured that it would all be taken care of by insurance (USAA). No upfront pricing given, but this being our first water damage, and being overwhelmed, trusted the company. That was our mistake. They charged an exuberant amount (~$4000 for 3 hours of work) and added additional fees (overhead and profit). Unfortunately, our insurance won't cover all of it, so we have to pay for most of it out of pocket. In addition, they did more work than necessary in order to charge more (packed cabinets that weren't tagged as being needed to pack, half packed boxes, etc.). Again, we didn't do the research before hand and were too trusting, so that's on us. Extremely disappointed, though, that Bingham would recommend such a scam company. read more

What I liked about "Arizona Packout aka Pronto Packers" who was brought in by Spencer Bingham, of 911 Restoration (who removed the water) was how fast they began packing my belongings after my condo got flooded. What I didn't like was their carelessness in packing my belongings, including among other items, breaking my washing machine, not to mention placing my water pik in a box along with my used toilet plunger. Altogether, the damages amount to over $900.00, the major cost being the washing machine which I had to replace for the amount of $763.02. Not only didn't they pay for the damages they incurred, but they tried to extort $699.01 from me. Although I hired an attorney, they have not responded. Buyer beware! When I reached out to them to let them know and asked to be compensated for these items I was treated like I did something wrong and got an extremely rude email from the owner, Jim. He basically told me I was wrong and that he owed me nothing and even threatened to get his attorney involved! Like really?! You lose and break someone's things and then threaten me?? Unbelievable. We had a pipe break in our wall and it affected the walls and structure of several rooms. We had to have several items moved and packed away so that the walls could be torn out. They referred us to Arizona Pack Out. Alex and Huskey were thoughtful and careful with my items and they worked very quickly and efficiently. They are a well-oiled machine. When I had a water leak in one of my bedrooms, this is the company EcoDry called out to move the contents of the room. They were able to show up the same night it happened so EcoDry could start the next day. It took them about an hour and a half to pack up the room which I thought was pretty good. Overall they were very professional and did a good job with the packing. The problem I had was when they sent the bill to my insurance company it was for over $3000 for an hour and twenty minutes of work and 25 boxes they used to pack my belongings. Luckily my insurance company was able to deal with it all for me, but it was still stressful not knowing if they would pay it out or not. Be careful because you may not be as lucky as me. read more

Now they placed a mechanics lien on the property because I (the landlord) refuse to pay for work (I did not authorize) for my tenant. When insurance companies don't pay their ridiculous charges they will put a lien on your property. I was charged $2700 for restoration that was not even mine. It didn't even have my signatures and no one will hep me resolve it. My insurance paid them $1700 to move furniture from one side of my basement to another. I could have done it completely myself. They backed 22 boxes of my belongings I told them not to box just so they could charge me their insane rates and take photos for insurance. It was more work to unpack what never needed packing. Now I have a $2700 lien on my home after they collected $1700 already. It's the most insane scam I have ever seen. They tell you it's all covered by insurance and your restoration company called them and needs their help. They completely take advantage of companies in their crisis. Due to a water leak we had to very quickly pack up two rooms in our house. We were recommended Arizona Packout and they came out very quickly. They packed up the rooms in just a few hours and they took pictures of everything so that they would remember where to put everything back. It took quite a few months to remedy our situation and they were able to bring everything back in the same week that we called them to do so. They were able to unload everything within a few short hours and were able to put everything back where it needed to go based on the pictures that they had originally took. There were a few things that we wanted to put in other places and they happily did so. We also had decided that there were a lot of things that we no longer needed and they very generously took things to be donated for us. Additionally they told us that when we were finished unpacking they would come back and pick up the boxes. It took us about 2 weeks and they were able to come out in a couple of days. Not only did they pick up their own boxes but they picked up other boxes that we had as well and boxes of additional items that we found to be donated. I'd like to say a special thank you to Huskey, Javi and Jesse for all of your hard work packing and unpacking us plus being willing to move things to other places and take things to be donated, even a refrigerator! Additionally special thank you to Aaron L. for coming to pick up all the boxes, even those that weren't your company's, and taking the additional items to be donated. We will definitely use Arizona Packout again knowing all of our belongings were safe and sound as well as it was such a breeze getting everything picked up and delivered back to us. Recently we had to deal with a garage full of water due to a broken water softener. Freddy and Javy worked long and hard to empty and relocate 25 years worth of accumulated wood, tools and projects not yet complete, so that the water could be dried and damage estimated. Please note that this is a review with respect to management, and not the actual hardworking individuals that did an excellent job at moving my belongings. Hopefully the owner pays them very well. They deserve a 'five' star rating. The problem I have is with their inferior management and inability to actually keep your belongings safe in storage. Two items were unfortunately missing and it took them over a week for someone to return my phone call to verify whether or not they had the two items. I was told that on occasion some items will get left behind, and it was a matter of retrieving them. In any case, I tried calling 2-3 days in a row, left a couple of voicemails, and text messages to two different people but still no response. When I finally got a hold of someone (I had to call them) after a week AZ Pack Out still did not know what happened to my missing items. I eventually talked to the owner but he downright denied that my items were missing. I needed to verify with him if AZ Pack Out had catalogued or documented the exact number of items they had so I could check whether that number matched with my records. Instead, the owner jokingly threw out a couple of random numbers indicating that his company does not keep a record of your personal belongings in their warehouse. This is unfortunate because you have no way of knowing how many of your items are being stored in their facility. If you have on record ten (10) items and you only receive nine (9), then it certainly would be prudent for the company to at least verify and confirm with you that they did in fact have ten (10) of your items on record. You would expect any business within this industry to conduct some basic form of inventory or record-keeping for their customers, especially one that charges a steep price to keep your belongings "safe" during an emergency. In sum: there is absolutely NO GUARANTEE THAT ALL of your belongings will be returned to you. Finally, a few words about the owner: he's rude, dishonest and treated me (as a concerned customer) with no respect. He mocked my situation and even used profane language stating that I was annoying him and his employees. Really? I paid for a service to keep my belongings safe but I didn't receive all of my items. Shouldn't I rightfully be upset and hold this business accountable for their inability to fulfill their end of the bargain? This is a poorly managed company with no integrity, and the customer service is unreliable. I strongly recommend that you do yourself a favor and hire an affordable moving company to move your belongings to an affordable storage unit near you so that you can have unrestricted, constant access to your items 24 hours a day. Ironically, the owner of AZ Pack Out recommended that I not do this for the reason that there's no guarantee that my items would be safe. I regret putting my trust in this untrustworthy, ordinary guy. He's thousands of dollars richer, and I'm left without any compensation for my two still-missing items. read more

They don't let me step foot to my stuff because my insurance wasn't covering it .I been calling and messaging them if I can get important documents and they keep saying no and they lied to my insurance that they put more them 100 boxes in there and it's not true because I have a little house and 100 boxes is to much for one little house . The 2 men who showed up to pack up our items in November were very friendly. After that point this company is terrible. They immediately hand their bill off to a company called One Claim Solutions. If you have already used this company but have not yet handed over your insurance payment I highly advise that you do not hand this payment over to AZPO/OCS without them finalizing a settlement with your insurance company and having them first send you a letter stating that this amount will satisfy your balance with them along with an itemized final bill that properly reflects this amount. This is a predatory company and no matter how they portray themselves online they will aggressively pursue you for the remaining balance. I was left 5 voicemails asking only for the amount issued by our adjuster. We requested an receipt and were sent a statement showing a charge for a pack out in the same amount as payment issued and a zero balance. Then they start contacting us asking for another $2800. They won't do this part until after the insurance money is secured. No matter how many times you say that there are fraudulent charges on the bill you'll just receive a canned response with no explanation that ends with we need you to pay the remaining several thousand dollars. Rather than offering to remove charges for services never rendered, they offered to partially reduce those charges. Apparently this is their definition of "working with you," to resolve the remaining balance. And if you have already used them but haven't hit this part of they issues yet, take pictures of every box and it's contents. They will claim to have used way more boxes than they actually did, at a very steep charge for each box packed. The boxes of our that were actually packed were filled to about halfway. I would have done this job myself but we arrived home from having to put down our 17 year old dog. The plumber was already there and immediately tells us we have water leaking into our walls. He calls out a restoration company who calls out AZPO since our lower cabinets had to be ripped out the following day to dry the walls. This is my first negative review, but our experience with this company needs to be shared to prevent others from falling victim to their poor service, and lack of any customer focus. We had a water leaked and our Water Restoration Company recommended we call Arizona Pack Out to help move a refrigerator, and washer so we can could do the repairs. For less than an hour of service albeit on a Sunday Afternoon the cost was excessive. They would not provide any upfront cost estimate as they said insurance would cover it. We called them no less than 8 times to return to finish the job or provide us a invoice with never a return call. We finally got a bill five months later despite multiple calls to our insurance company and Arizona Pack Out. In summary , they will not provide a cost estimate, return calls, or provide timing billing information. Please be aware of a company called Arizona Packout out of Mesa, AZ. They were sent to us by a remodeling & restoration company when our water heater leaked and caused water damage to a wall between the garage and office. We have since been advised that they are known by insurance companies to price gauge and send exhorbitant bills to insurance companies. This was definitely true with us and even though our insurance company has settled with them according to customary and allowed amounts, they continue to harass us with phone calls and emails demanding full payment of their invoice, although they accepted what our insurance company paid. This has been going on for several months. One example of their charges was for manipulation and moving charge. They charged for 4.50 hours at $59.63 and they were at our house for only 1 hour. They unnecessarily put items in 7 medium boxes at a cost of 273.14. One box had a rag and a cracker tin in it, another a storage box! Please watch out for this company! read more

Worst company EVER!!! Used them for a flood in my house back in November 2019 and it's now April 2020 and we still have not received all of our things. They lost a ton of our stuff and broke a lot of our things. They returned them all broken after telling us that they repaired them. They dropped them off at our house and did not unpack them. In my opinion, this company takes advantage of the situation and get away with charging an unbelievable amount because people are in a desperate situation when this company is used. This company was recommended by Steamy Concepts when we had water damage from rain at our home. They sent four employees (who were very nice) and were here ONLY 2.5 HOURS but the cost is highway robbery. I was charged $3,756.37 for their services to move items in our garage away from wall and pack up some books in my office. THE COST OF MEDIUM BOX WAS $27.82 EACH!!! NO WONDER THEY WANTED TO KNOW IF I WANTED THEM TO LEAVE A FEW EXTRA BOXES. Most of the boxes ( $945.88) were not even half full!! If I had known what they would charge, I would have moved it all myself. I was in disbelief when I received a notice that there would be a $5000 lien on my property for non payment. They take advantage of a stressful situation and I must add that I can't believe that Steamy Concepts recommended them I called their office two times, left messages and left message on their website for someone to call me and I wanted an itemized bill for this unbelievable amount, but got NO CALL or response to my message. I am giving them one star because I haven't yet found anything broken as I unpack. Here's what they could have done better: 1. When a customer can move the footboard of a bed and the headboard wobbles, do not tell her that it's just the way the bed is. You did a lousy job putting it back together, and you ignored me when I asked you to fix it. 2. When you're moving a printer, tape the power cord to the printer OR put all cords in one box labeled cords or anything other than what you did. My mother had a water leak. The restoration company called AZ Packout in and they were good with the packing and moving some furniture from one room to another but they cheated my mother who is 79yo. They had no pricing on the agreement which they should and could have supplied. She was told the company would take what the insurance billed but they are not. They billed $5000 dollars for a few hours of work. They billed $27.50 for ea small box and no box is worth that much. They have all kinds of charges on the billing. After the ins payment they are now going after my mother for over $4000. Beware of doing business with them. Make sure you get a quote upfront!! They are threating to put a lien on her home. read more

Our water heater leaked and ruined the carpet in our master bedroom. So, our insurance company contracted Arizona Pack Out to move our bedroom furniture. We made an appointment and they were supposed to show up the day before the carpet was supposed to get installed. But you already know what happened. They were a No Show! We called incessantly. And someone kept picking up the phone, saying hello repeatedly, and then hang up. It was like they were intentionally not trying to provide any service that day. Anyway, we almost threw our back out moving all the furniture ourselves. The next morning we got a text from them, right before the carpet installers arrived, stating they were on their way. They said someone on their team was supposed to call us and reschedule. Obviously, that didn't happen. Not even a missed call from them. I'm curious as to how they're getting any positive reviews because the only way they seem to be getting business is through contract work with insurance companies. And, of course, the customer has no say in the matter. If I had to choose, it wouldn't be them. Their communication is awful. read more

Arizona Pack Out was called out to our home on September 24 by a water remediation company due to a water damage issue in our kitchen. At the time they were planning to remove all my lower kitchen cabinets so the packers were called in to remove all my kitchen items from the lower cabinets. They were very careful with my things and wrapped all fragile items such as glass bake ware. They were very polite and professional, even taking care to wear shoe protection as we have white carpet.
