Given that my fan was of an older model, he wanted to contact Bosch for additional part details. The following day, he informed me that the fan had been discontinued but he had a good idea of what needed to be addressed. Subsequently he scheduled Dannel the technician to visit the next week. Dannel arrived promptly and worked on the fan for nearly an hour. Remarkably, he managed to restore it without requiring any replacement parts and only charged me the diagnostic fee, which turned out to be more affordable than the diagnostic fees quoted by other companies I had previously contacted. I fully endorse Mr. Appliance of River Oaks. Their thorough research before arriving at my doorstep and competence and professionalism set them apart.

He was told if needed something to test the dryer, he was to go a few feet away & knock on the door, and would be given some items to test this dryer. Instead, this stranger, removed the tarp, took out my personal items and put them in the dryer himself, ruining a few items that were not supposed to be dried while at it. Not only did he not have the right to do that, there was no camera in there to see what he possibly dropped, and these appliances were on a dirty garage floor that unfortunuately had critters visiting too often due to a negligant HOA and landlord. The technician showed up, said he needed to order parts and we never heard from them again. They refuse to answer the phone and believe they blocked us after a while. After almost 2 months of trying to make this work, we contacted Lowes who then told us the technician filed a report saying he was unable to do the work because he claimed it was out of warranty. I am sure he got paid by Lowes for the visit, so it sounds like he is either mistaking us for someone else or... Anyway, Lowes said there is nothing we can do until we "make things right" with this company. I just called my credit card company and filed a claim thru them. So, avoid both Lowes service protection and this company. Update: called mrappliance.com who gave me an appointment immediately and repaired the appliance the same day. They are awesome. I will now update my claim with Chase Sapphire to include reimbursement for these repairs. Advice remains: avoid Lowes and all their fly-by-night repair associates.
