Well the tech sent me a message saying he finished up his other job early and if it was okay with me if he came to me early. He was friendly looked at the issue and gave a price for repair. The only reason I didn't move forward was because of the markup on the part. I called the company I purchased the refrigerator from and asked them how much a compressor was for my refrigerator. They told me $349+tax so I knew this before the tech arrive. Well the tech gave me a price of $800 for the same part. The total cost for the repair was $1,300+tax. The refrigerator cost $1,800. I smiled and thanked him because he was nice and why I rated 4 Stars for him. He really made me laugh and my wife and I laughed over dinner again. Good news we got a quote from another company parts + labor for $759+tax. Again very nice tech and he deserves 5 Star very funny guy. read more

Called this appliance repair on 11/22 because my dishwasher went out before Thanksgiving. The technician said it needed a control board part and he would have to order it. I mentioned needing the dishwasher for thanksgiving and since it was a $500 repair I thought maybe it would make sense to just buy a new dishwasher and have it installed. He assured me this was more cost efficient and guaranteed to fix the dishwasher before Thanksgiving. I received no updates until I reached out late Wednesday and surprise surprise "the part JUST came in". Technician came over and replaced the part... Unit still isn't working. He said he has to order another part and he will come back as soon as it comes in. It is now 12/2 and I've never received a call from them unless I reach out first. I will never do business with this company again and I'm in the process of trying to get a refund so I can just start over with someone else. read more

I paid for a diagnosis of my refrigerator and was told it was the defrost heater and I purchased the part $60 was told I needed to pay $190. So I put out a request for installation price and Excellence Appliance Repair quote me $260 for a 45 minute job and they are 4 miles away. I am getting the installation done for $125, somewhat high but I am going with it. I cannot recommence this company. read more

Suddenly there is a "service charge" imposed that is NOWHERE stated on the website. If you want your money stolen, by all means use them but if you want an honest company who stands behind their ability to fix appliances and actually fix the appliance, they ARE NOT the company you want to do business with!
