Being a huge matcha fan, I was all set to order one, but then I spotted a unique drink on the menu called "Fluffy Hojicha." I got curious and asked a staff member what hijocha was. They told me it has a distinct roasted flavor, which really intrigued me. Not knowing what to expect from a roasted tea, I decided to give it a try. The wait for my sister's drink, along with a crème brûlée donut and a strawberry donut, was just a quick 3-5 minutes. The first sip of the Hojicha caught me off guard; it wasn't my favorite right away. But with each sip, I started to appreciate and eventually really enjoy the unique roasted flavor of the tea. The crème brûlée donut was a lovely addition - just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. ELNO is located in a building with other small vendors, and there's a seating area that fits only two to three people. I found parking easily since I went on a weekday around 4 PM. My sister mentioned that on weekends, parking is a real hassle. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

After ordering, I waited over 20 minutes for my drink and mochi. There was no announcement or indication that my order was ready. It turns out it had been sitting in a corner that isn't even visible from the customer waiting area. If I hadn't gone looking, I probably would have waited even longer. To make matters worse, the mochi was unbelievably small, especially considering it cost nearly $14. The portion was nowhere close to what the price would lead you to expect. Overall, the service throughout my visit was extremely poor, and the experience left a very negative impression. Between the slow service, poor communication, excessive wait time, and overpriced food, I won't be returning. There are far better boba shops that value their customers' time.

Just because you're the loudest person in the room or the MC doesn't make it okay to make customers the butt of the joke. That's patronizing. Being loud doesn't make you funny, nor quirky. I get you wanna hype up the place but maybe you have to prepare better? Bring your own people perhaps. I'm sorry that me not wanting to be perceived hurt your ego or whateverp :( Please do better. Their bathroom is well kept which says a lot about their good sanitation. Check them out!
