This is my new favorite nail salon! The nail artistry that Paola has is incredible and my nails have never looked better. This is by far the best set and experience I've ever had. She worked so intricately and fast to perfect each hand painted and 3D sculpted flower. This gel set has not budged one bit and are growing out super healthy. I had a few inspo pics for her and she absolutely nailed it. The vibes and music in here is also great and immediately puts you in relaxed mode. This was my first time ever getting Gel-X and also my first visit to this salon. 2/27/26 I was serviced by a new nail technician who mentioned this was her "5th set" (I wasn't sure if that meant for the day or overall). I came in requesting an aura nail design. During the appointment, the nail tech appeared unsure of what she was doing. Nail tech did ask another technician for help multiple times. I mentioned bubbles forming in the nails, and although those were fixed, she also had to ask how to refill the airbrush. After several attempts, the aura design came out only somewhat close to what I had asked for. For fairness, my sister's nails, done by a different technician at the same time, came out very nice and did not have any excess glue underneath. The salon is known for nail art, so I was disappointed with the overall quality of my service. I did politely point out a few issues during the appointment, but I was told they could not see what I was referring to. Toward the end, another technician asked if I wanted them fixed, but it was already late on a Friday evening and I did not want to keep them past closing. 2/28/26, I called to ask if I could come back to have the issues corrected and to remove the excess glue underneath my nails. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with was dismissive and told me this was normal. I was also told the nails looked exactly like the inspiration photos, which I do not agree with. I mentioned that I would prefer a different technician for the corrections since the original tech was new, but I was cut off and told she had five years of experience, which did not match what I experienced during the service. This review is not meant to bash the nail technician. I simply was not satisfied with the results or how my concerns were handled afterward. Such a bummer n probably the worst nails ive ever gotten. Idk if the person that did my nails was new or was training or something but she was all over the place and it felt like she didnt know what she was doing. I dont doubt that theres other good nail techs that work there but i may have just gotten unlucky. I got gel nails and they started chipping the next day. On day 4 most of my nails were peeling/lifting off or completely off. Ive never had this happen :( everyone was nice though lol read more

This was a very disappointing experience. I felt deflated when I left the salon today. I have never been here before and I was hoping for quality work. Below were my issues - I walked in and no one was waiting for me. I waited 2 days for my appointment and I was expecting a nail tech to ask me what I wanted in regards to my design. - the girl at the front desk was the only one who was asking me what I wanted but she was not communicating this to the nail tech . She began to socialize with a friend and was distract the whole time. Where was the manager? - my nail tech never asked me what I wanted she just did what she wanted. I spent 90.00 and I am so unhappy. - I dislike the length and French tip they look like eggs. Now I need to go and redo my nails someplace else. read more

I wanted to like this spot as my gf booked it for a spa day before we left on a girls trip together. Unfortunately, for some reason both of our nails (french gel for me and regular gel for her) became randomly discolored a few days in. We were definitely not digging our hands into weird things or chemicals, and the french tips made the discoloring look terrible. My gf's nail finish became yellow, and both of us felt that it didn't last very long at all. I am a bit curious as to perhaps due to their sanitizing practices that some contaminate got onto our nails during the process and made them extremely prone to yellowing in just a few days. This is great! I would've thought I could never come out feeling so good after the pedicure treatment. All special thanks to Nail Me, I feel this nail salon shall be in my list of best visits. Of course, I been waiting for years trying to find the right nail salon before the pandemic hits home. And I wanted to make sure I'm good and ready when I get my toenails polished. Nail Me was a hole in a corner that I can easily go to. After reading a majority of 4 to 5 star reviews, it's about time I plan on the right time and day before I head home. It didn't surprise me to see the same ladies who took good care of us. The one woman who's doing the pedicure I chose was speaking good English with an Asian accent. And yes, she's been doing a good job on my toenails. Now if I remember correctly in her following performance: soaked both my feet on a bucket of soap, clipped my toenails, scraped off the cuticles of my toenails, rubbed my partial legs with dead sea salt, placed a hot (not too hot) towel on both my feet, used aloe vera lotion to lather my feet, and polished my toenails (best part). No need to explain in further details but, she did recommend that I should use Vaseline since both my heels have cracked skin (must take good care of them). Above all, I love it! My toenails were just as great as fingernails ever since I had been having manicure in Hand Job nail salon on Castro Street. $35 for the pedicure? Not a problem to me as long as I pay by cash. Beautifully decorated + some fun neon ("Real hot girl shit!"). Very friendly, stylish employees. They do acrylic, regular, and gel plus waxing. Note: They have a cute little foot basin set up but no spa chairs so if that's your thing you might be bummed. Would be an awesome space for a small nail party (you know, when things aren't batshit crazy and we can do normal stuff again). Everyone was masked and window and doors were open so I felt safe. I honestly wanted to like this place but find myself not being able to. I came here last week for my birthday and called in before heading over. The service took 2.5 hours for a regular pedicure and gel manicure with a simple design. It wasn't really a design as they only placed pre-made stars and moons on my nails. I appreciate the effort because they only have one design nail artist and tried to do a design for me. I also wasn't offered anything to drink until I asked which was pretty late into my service. At first glance, I was sad to see no massage chairs but elegant suede chairs. They were comfy but the bucket of water they brought out for my pedicure was very lukewarm and went cold half way through the service. When working on my nails, the technician pulled my cuticle too hard and it started to bleed. Yesterday I noticed the gel polish was fading and turning a different color and a crack in my nail. It's only been 1 week and a few days. I tipped heavy because of the time and felt like I was being complicated asking for a simple design. But I'm pretty disappointed and won't be back. Was looking for a new nail place to try and loved this spot! Super easy to make a reservation on their website and received a confirmation via text. I got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. The lady helping me was super nice and took time to clean my cuticles. There were a decent amount of colors to choose from for their gels - I tend to stick with the neutral colors and loved my color (02). I recently moved to the area so I thought I'd check out this salon. I've been a few times and they have always done a good job. I've done regular pedis which last awhile and gel manis which also last awhile. I did a walk-in once on a week day and had to wait a bit but not too long. I've been making appointments and have not had to wait. Micki is quick to respond via email. Today Nhu did my nails and she was friendly and did a great job. I appreciate how she told me the OPI colors are more sheen so they require more coats, whereas the DND are more creamy so they require less coats. read more

I was on a google rabbit hole to find an unpretentious yet artistic nail shop that can do gel x. I was also booking on one of the busiest nail days of the year, New Year's Eve. Micki was responsive and courteous booking through yelp. In person, it's a small shop but her small but mighty staff have their books planned to a T. I appreciate a salon that is realistic about how long services take and plan accordingly. We've all been double booked and forced to read a magazine well past "appointment time" and at Nail Me it wasn't the case, even on a busy day. Unlike other places Micki also jumped in to do the gel x. Care, attention to detail and a keen ability to listen meant I left with a great set. The highlights are I came in for a gel manicure and there were some rough patches... someone else finished up my services and now I'm just waiting to see if they will last 1-2 weeks. When I inquired to book an appointment I was informed it should hold for 2 weeks. Time will tell the truth. I got the BEST manicure I've ever had from nail me. The cutest most beautiful nails I've ever had and the service was immaculate and the experience was 10/10. When you go to nail me you will get the most incredible massage. They are not just rubbing your leg or arm like a lot of other places do. They are hitting those oh so good pressure points and really giving you a massage. I've actually gone in for just a foot massage before and it was worth it. I went in mid November and am just getting around to writing this review but I went in with 10 coworkers after work one evening and as you can probably imagine with coordinating a large group there were a million schedule and service changes. Went back today and walked in and asked for a gel pedicure- they told me to pick a color, got me a dowel of water and I sat for 15 min waiting for service only for them to come out and tell me they didn't have time for a gel pedicure only a typical one.... I was wearing socks with shoes so I couldn't get a regular polish one so I had to dry off my feet and leave. Felt like a waste of my time and on par with the service I had last time.
