Booked easily via yelp and got a beautiful set of gel x with cateye polish done by Liam. Reasonably priced and super quick service. Still on with no issues 3 weeks later. Will absolutely be back!

Appointment after appointment, Liam brings quality, patience, and kindness to my nail appointments. The nail prep is amazing and I think that's why my gel x always lasts 4 weeks. I've gotten normal gel, gel x, cat eye, gemstones, jelly, etc and every time it looks fabulous. Highly recommend to call in advance to make an appointment!

Gel X Extensions. So far, for me, this has been one of the best nail experiences I've had in San Francisco. They might not give the best hand massages, but the nail work itself is amazing. They are very detail-oriented and perfectionists, which I really appreciate. The cleanliness is great, the prices are good, and everyone is very kind. They're also open to fixing anything if you don't like something, which makes you feel comfortable. I would definitely come back.

I had an awful experience at Daisy nails. I paid $60 for a gel manicure ( they charge $1 for each nail if they remove polish). The day of the appointment I noticed that the polish was think and blotchy and over the next few days my nails proceeded to chip and break. I called the shop and the owner said he would fix my nails. I asked them to change the polish but they refused and proceeded to change the polish on only the five nails that were broken even noting that my nails length was uneven now. I will never go back to this establishment as they clearly do not care about their customers.

Second time going here and it was great. One of my nails ripped and they quickly fixed it and told me how to care for it until I come back. I usually do a gel manicure on my natural nails. This time I asked if they could do a nail design and it looks so good, I've gotten a lot of compliments!

This is hands down the best nail salon in the city. I've been coming here for almost four years (if not more) for gel-x extensions and I recommend it to all my friends. The attention to detail and care they put into every set is incredible. They always find a chair for me, whether I book ahead or walk in. I've brought in all kinds of Pinterest references (spooky Halloween nails, candy cane Christmas sets, even little mushrooms) and they've nailed every single one. They're just as great when I need something more polished and professional, and their pedicures are wonderful too. Thank you, Daisy Nails! I always leave feeling great. read more

(Lii saved the day again) I walked into the salon after a fight I got into the night before seeking Lii my favorite nail tech there. my acrylic nails a mess with one nail split in half, Lii carefully got the acrylic dissolved & he was supper gentle & kind. **i also need to stress that i had to talk Lii into giving me a new set because even if this nail was broken, I needed to keep it pushing, and it was my decision to slap acrylic over my broken nail** read more

I can definitely see that they take care of their customers and take great pride of their work. Here's what u got: - Gel-X mani: love, love, love! They do the ombré really well! One star doesn't cut out the awful experience of customer service/bullying behavior and lack of social interaction- awareness is not given and part of it. I had came here once and had a bad experience, my review was posted here too. My mother went, I told her my experience but because of the price and proximity, she was persistent to go. When we went, the older lady was working on my mother's pedicure. Each thing she pulled out, she would show it to the other lady, her coworker, and of course the iconic way to talk smack about it was in their own language. They laughed about it as my mom is staring at her doing it. THEN, this older lady showed the sponge she used and pointed at the dead skin, and they laughed again. The fact that they think they can bully and act like it's such normal behavior, it made my blood boil to show them how Bay Area is. As a person of color with mannerism and respect, I called it out when my mother told me and they chuckled- how I wished I could have shown the aggression of disrespect not to me but to my mother, but I am grown and have to digress. Again, horrible service and lack of social awareness. They half a$$ their work, it's clearly shown in the pictures after my first experience that they try really hard with angles and probably favoritism, also not evolved in style and hygiene is a disgust. read more

Daisy Nail Salon is hands-down my forever nail spot in SF. I've easily spent thousands here because they never miss. Every visit is consistent, high-quality, and prompt. I get the same service every time--perfect shaping, smooth polish, zero lumps, no streaks. Plus, I've never had an infection, and I almost never get a nick. It's pretty reasonably priced and I try not to go anywhere else. It's got a friendly, professional, no-nonsense vibe. read more

If you ask literally anyone in sf, they'll all tell u to go here for nails no joke. Def make an appointment though especially if you want gelx or acrylic because they get hella busy. My roommate told me about this place a while back & ever since, I strictly only go to them over any other nail salon in the Bay Area. They never miss and genuinely do such a good job every time. I also rlly appreciate how meticulous they are when it comes to the quality of your nail shape, paint, and design. They'll check w you to make sure you like everything during each step and they just really care about the quality of their customer's nails. All the people who work there are so so kind!! read more

I literally have never found a salon that gives me such consistently fantastic nails each time. I've brought multiple friends here and they are always happy with their results as well. I can't recommend this place enough. The prices are super reasonable and the quality of the work is above and beyond. I can never find a flaw with anything they do. The general vibe is very relaxed and the employees are always friendly - although quiet, which I actually prefer when I'm getting my nails done, I like to zone out and be in my own world. My girlfriends and I had stumbled upon this shop for a GelX set and we were left so happy with our service that we quickly became regulars here! We go here very frequently and are usually seen by the two male nail techs. They are very friendly and take their time. I never feel rushed when getting my nails done. The prices are reasonable and the work last weeks! It's a small shop so I highly recommend calling ahead of time to make an appointment. I would recommend this salon to anyone! read more

First impressions was the location is nice, very local and the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Very professional attitudes and attire along with great customer service. Their place just got renovated and it looks fancy and stunning. Every time I have went in for my nails they took great care of me and made sure I got what I wanted. I always look for Brittney and Sammi, they know how to shape and design my nails with ease and precision, it shows how much care they put into making their customers happy! Been back here about 3 times now and also brought my friend for a pedicure date. Definitely would recommend to check them out if you're in the area!

Do not go here. I paid nearly $100 for a fill that took an hour and 45 minutes and wasn't even done…read moreproperly. When I got home, I realized the polish was completely uneven and see-through as that he only did two coats. Throughout the process, I was nicked with the electric filing razor that he was using. He did not apologize nor did he thanked me for my generous tip of $15 for a subpar job. I requested a refund and they hung up on me even after I sent photos and video. I am so disappointed I'm going to have to have my nails completely redone wasting more money. Sloppy and unfriendly service. Avoid. Oh and I requested GEL X and they didn't tell me that they were doing hard gel which is completely different and this ruined my set. I only know because it took so long and he spent 45 minutes putting on a clear something he didn't even tell me about. What a frustrating experience.

I walked here from the bus stop off Rhode Island and 16th. It was a short and pleasant 10min walk from where I started. It was flat until I passed by a Whole Foods when the journey was all uphill. Short of breath, I made it to the top of the hill and to my destination *phew. It was a nice quad and glute workout for sure. I was greeted by a friendly staff and led to a wall of nail polish (sometimes the choices are overwhelming). I chose a bright pink and sparkly OPI nail polish. It felt summery. I ended up feeling tense as I sat and eased my feet into warm water. Annie, my nail artist, told me to relax but my body wanted to do the opposite. I think I get tense when my toenails are being cut as if to anticipate pain, but when I felt comfortable with her technique, I started to relax. It was probably the most relaxed I've been all week. Annie was sweet and attentive. She also did a really good job removing my cuticles and massaging my calves. I needed it! It was a great way to end a stressful day at work. I would love to come back!

The foot bath water had lemon, mint and rose petals in it which made it feel luxurious. The owner was incredibly nice and personable. I requested a gel French pedicure, and I had Henry as my technician. He was super rough to the point where I had to pull my leg back so he would stop filing my hyponychium. He only applied one coat of the French, so you can still see my toe nail underneath. The French lines were also uneven - some are straight across while others are rounded. I went to work out after, and my toes hurt in my sneakers from how rough he was.

There was excess glue left around my nails which looked messy and unprofessional. While the final design was nice, it ultimately was not what I had originally asked for. When I expressed disappointment prior to leaving, the technician later explained there had been a language barrier. However, this was never communicated during the time of service. Instead, I was repeatedly told "no" to the options I asked about. Afterward, I reviewed the salon's website and realized they actually did offer the exact style I wanted. What made me especially uncomfortable, though, was that the technician put their hands in my hair without asking first. That completely crossed a personal boundary and felt very disrespectful. Overall, I think this salon is fine for simple services, but if you're looking for detailed nail art or a more attentive customer experience, you may leave feeling frustrated.

What's more frustrating is I booked Gel-X and still got pushed into getting regular gel because Jenny wasn't available, even though the appointment was supposed to be with her. I completely understand she's popular, but it's disappointing to make an appointment for a specific service and technician and not receive either. Sad to say I'll have to look for a new spot, because I can't seem to actually get the appointment I came for anymore.

They only had two techs working, so they ended up handling multiple customers at once. It took a lot longer to get our nails done, and Jenny had to stay 2 hours past closing to accommodate us, but she did a fantastic job!! She's amazing at doing detailed designs and is clearly very experienced. I had to pivot from my original design but she was really skilled and I honestly let her have full reign of the new design, but they turned out beautiful. She put a ton of detail into making sure my nails were perfect to the very last minute. FYI a gel manicure with design and gems/pearls (self provided) was $65 pre tip, which is more than they list on the site. They prefer cash but venmo is also accepted. Very peaceful vibe inside, with a restroom and water provided. They don't rush you at all which is nice :)

I must admit I came here because of a Groupon, but hey, sometimes I find good places that way. Not this time. I did really enjoy the deep conditioning treatment I got, and my hair was soft and shiny the next day. I also didn't mind sharing my appointment slot with someone else, so he washed my hair while she sat under the heat, and while I sat under the heat he cut her hair, etc. etc. Good for him for scheduling well, I guess. I also was working with the owner, Odilon, which I thought would be good, but I should ahve been warned by the hairless hairdresser. What i didn't like is that I asked for a trim. I was specific and said don't take much off, leave it as long as possible. when all was said and done it was about 6-7" shorter. And that was with it blown straight. My hair is curly and so when I have left it natural boy is it short. I'm pretty peeved actually at how much hair he cut off. 6" is not a trim. After wearing it a couple of days, it's really got no shape. A boring bob that looks like someone's trying to grow out long hair. ugh. read more

I was recently at Ele Ela nail salon with my daughter who recently broke up with her live in boyfriend. After trying just about everything to console her and not really knowing what else to do I suggested a walk around the neighborhood. Walking on church st. we passed a spa and decided on the spur of the moment to get her a mani/pedi unfortunately//fortunately they were booked, remembering that I had seen Ele Ela nearby we marched on down to guerrero. The two women who work there are super sweet and did a great job on my daughter's nails, they took their time and even gave my daughter the longer hand/leg massage for which they charge for free (I think it was the sad teary eyed girl in front of them that got them) If you been there you know business is slow, they should be charging for all their services. I was impressed with their generosity, needless to say I left them a nice tip...what with all the money I saved by not going to that "other" spa........ Days later, still in shock over the amazing value. I called a few minutes ahead on a Sunday afternoon to check if I'd be able to walk in without a wait (not a true "walk-in", I guess...) Glad I chose a good time - started getting busy 30 minutes after I arrived. I was looking to get my gel nails (done elsewhere) removed and get a new regular nail color to cover up what would be ugly, buffed out, naked nails. Sigh, I never learn with the gel. The nail technicians were super patient with me trying out different colors and also very helpful with their suggestions, e.g. layering glitter on a base. I noticed that this salon also does nail art, so excited to try that out at some point in the future too. Anyway, gel nail removal PLUS a whole set of new colors (with some variation across fingers too, might I add) came out to be $20?! In this location? In SF?! It was my first time, so maybe there was a discount baked in. Still, a 50% tip doesn't even make me feel generous. I think I might've just found my nail spot in the city. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. The service was incredibly rude and unprofessional, especially from the owner. Throughout the entire appointment, he was constantly taking phone calls while working on my nails, barely acknowledging me or paying attention to what he was doing. It felt rushed and careless. To make matters worse, I was overcharged for the service. What I received was far from worth the price. The gel manicure started chipping within just a few days, which should not happen if it's applied correctly. They applied the polish far too thickly and only did two coats, which led to a sloppy and uneven finish. Overall, I felt like my time and money were wasted. Between the poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, and low-quality results, I will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional and relaxing nail experience. read more

The people at this place are the most UNprofessional People I have ever met. I showed up for a manicure on a Wednesday evening at 6:15pm, right after work. (The place closes at 7:30pm) they told me they don't do acrylic even tho I've been coming here before. After I asked when they stopped doing it, they told me they only do it on sundays (like for real?) they were lying straight to my face while the place was empty and only 1 person working on a client and 2 of them just chilling. It was a raining day and I spent 15$ of uber to get a manicure and these people refused to do their job and even had the gut to lie and treat me li a was stupid. So disappointing in this nail saloon and the people who work here. I'll never go back again and I'll do my best to tell all my friends to never go again. I thought I try this salon out because of groupon. Odilon is a nice guy, but i dont think he cuts hair well at all. Plus it felt rushed because his friend came in and was waiting for him. Took about 30 min to cut and rinse. Then put globs of hair glue to try and style it....man it was a mess. I mean regular price was at 50 bucks for a mens cut. I would not have paid that at all. Its not even worth it with the Groupon at 20 bucks. I would never go back to this place again. Waste of money, and waste of time. read more

I've gotten a ton of manicures. This was OK but I won't be back. They filed my natural nails very harshly before my gel manicure. I've never had anyone be so rough on my nails before. Several of them broke in the week after the treatment and they felt super weak after I took off the gel. Also had to ask the lady to paint all the way down to my cuticles. Her brush strokes were really messy but didn't look too bad after it dried. read more

They treated her with no respect and the sign clearly read Walk -ins excepted, but she said that no one had time to service her. Very prejudice to the point my wife almost broke out in tears.
