I was really excited to visit this place after seeing a tiktok about it. However, I was disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the pandan flavor was missing from the "pandan" milk tea. I didn't feel too comfortable drinking it because the color looked like it was artificially dyed and was almost neon, unlike normal pandan items. The egg coffee was nice. At my visit, I learned that the owners of this place pocket ALL THE TIPS and don't pay any to their workers. I was really saddened to hear that and I wish the owners would be more fair to their workers especially since the guy who took my order was so nice. I found this store after seeing it go viral on TikTok, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It was very busy when I got there but the owner, Richard, greeted me and was incredibly nice and helpful throughout my visit. I ordered a Purple Rice Avocado which was 10/10. The purple rice was very fragrant and add such a unique, satisfying texture. I loved this one and would highly recommend it. I was then curious about their matcha options, so I asked Richard for recommendations, and he offered to let me try a Blueberry Matcha from their unreleased menu!! I was genuinely impressed by the quality of their matcha. I'd rate the Blueberry Matcha an 8/10. It was very good, though I personally would have enjoyed a stronger blueberry flavor. Overall, I'd give the drinks a 9/10 and customer service a perfect 10/10. Richard was very hands-on, even personally delivering drinks to tables, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The cashier was super kind and chatted sweetly with many cô's in the store. If there was a wait, he would keep the customers entertained. Around 15% of the cup was filled with fresh durian shavings. When you mix it, you'd slurp up fresh durian pieces with Vietnamese coffee. They did not skimp out on the durian, but wish there was a slightly stronger durian taste. Came here on a Sunday after having com tam across the street for breakfast. I love that they have a self-ordering kiosk when you enter the store since you can take your time looking, ordering and paying on there. They have such a wide selection of drinks. We ended up ordering a hojicha latte, durian coffee (with an extra shot) and the 4 seasons milk tea with grass jelly. The hojicha latte turned out good! I'm so happy they had it on the menu because everywhere else for hojicha wasn't open or too far in distance. My friend who got the durian coffee and added an extra shot in it found his drink to be way too strong. You could tell they definitely added an extra shot, but it's a drink we would have to try again made originally haha. My cousin enjoyed his 4 seasons milk tea, but found that the grass jelly topping could've been softer and flavorful. I love the drinks here, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. I came in around 2:30 PM on 8/20/2025 after placing a phone order for two coconut coffees (my dad was in the car with me when I ordered, so yes, I know exactly what I said). When I got there, they handed me two Coconut Clouds instead. The cashier with long bangs was polite and tried to be helpful, but then the tall, lanky guy making drinks in the back decided to come out and give me some sass, insisting they "double confirmed" the order over the phone and basically said they wouldn't fix it next time. Are you serious?? That is not how you talk to a customer!! Especially when you're the one who messed up. The attitude was completely uncalled for, and honestly, just rude and unprofessional. I won't be coming back, and I'll be telling others to steer clear too. I was excited to try Aroma because of its extensive menu! I was trying to decide between their durian milk tea, pandan milk tea, creme brulee milk tea, or one of their specialty ché desserts. Ultimately, I decided on their durian milk tea because it is the least common item I have seen offered. I had tried durian coffee before but this was my first time trying a durian milk tea. We ordered via the kiosk. The durian flavor felt a little strong on the first sip but I quickly became adjusted to it and enjoyed the drink. After the first sip, the durian flavor seemed more subtle and the drink had a more floral hint. The boba was also soft. My boyfriend ordered the strawberry lemonade with rainbow jelly. We were shocked when his drink came out green! After a taste test (and a quick visual inspection), it seemed he was served the kiwi passionfruit lemonade with rainbow jelly. He enjoyed the drink though and did not have a problem with the mix-up (luckily, he doesn't have any allergies so no worries on that front). His drink was sour, but the carbonation helped make it refreshing. The rainbow jelly was also a nice touch to his drink. The shop has a contemporary, modern style and is not too big so seating is limited. We were able to sit at a table and chat as a party of 4, but we had to wait a little for enough chairs to be available for all of us. A party of 4 was already pushing it (there were other parties of similar size inside the shop), but for any larger parties, I would recommend picking up your drinks/desserts and going elsewhere to hang out due to the size of the shop and limited seating. There is also a small round table available outside. I would love to return and try another boba milk tea drink or one of their specialty ché desserts -- the printed images on the wall looked very appetizing and tempting! read more

I enjoyed the balance of banana and matcha with the sweet notes of honey. Ordering was done through the tablet which was pretty easy--only downside was watching the tablet time out every so often.
