I love coming to Aroma because their drinks are always super consistent. I first came here to try their crème brûlée milk tea, and after that I started exploring other things on the menu. Honestly, everything has been so good that I don't even have a single go-to drink. I just pick whatever I'm in the mood for and know it'll turn out great. Ordering is really convenient too. They have kiosks if you want to order quickly, but you can also order at the register if a barista is available. Even when they're busy, they do a good job of helping people at the register if the line gets long. Their matcha is high quality and hand-whisked, which I really appreciate and don't mind waiting a little longer for. The foams and creams are also great - super smooth and they balance the flavors well without anything overpowering the drink. I am usually scared off by the long line here, but I've been intrigued by this place for some time now and finally decided to stop in recently. Despite the line being wrapped around the building, it moved fairly fast. A young guy (I believe his name is Collin) made my drink and he was honestly the most friendly human being ever and my banana matcha was absolutely delicious! Aroma is one of the many boba shops in the Paloma Plaza - a small, but very busy plaza. Parking is hit or miss here, especially on weekends and weeknights. They are fairly new, so I wanted to check them out because I had already been to all of the other boba spots here. Their exterior is very simple and blends in, so it was at first a bit difficult to find them, and the interior is very small with a clean and modern look to it (a bit cramped inside with limited seating). Ordering is through the kiosk or at the counter when the employee is available - not much service though. I ordered their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba. The milk tea had a creamy and sweet milk taste to it without much of a tea taste to it. Their boba was a bit hard - on the tougher side. It was on the sweeter side, but once it watered down, it was decent. It was about $6.50 for a pretty small cup, which was a bummer. Overall, it was between 3 - 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up. read more

Another matcha place that popped up on TikTok - we went on a Saturday afternoon and the line was long, the parking lot was also super busy so it can be tough to find a spot. It was quite busy inside as they only have one kiosk to order from, and people waiting inside outside and around the store. The workers will yell out your number when your drink is ready so be sure to listen for that! I got the pandan matcha (whole milk, less sweet, & less ice) and it wasn't bad. Upon first sip you get a strong taste of that sweet pandan flavor, but after mixing it in it dilutes out. There's also a cream/foam that's not sweet and coconut flakes on top. I don't think I'd get it again because it was on the sweeter side for me, but they have tons of other drinks to choose from. read more

I was very pleased with my visit, I liked that I was able to control the sweetness level because I can't handle drinks that are too sweet. The lychee rose drink was what I chose. The drink I got was their Vietnamese bean dessert it's about a 4/5 I feel the size is on the smaller size since it costs around 7.5 but they currently are having a 20% off. Closest thing to Vietnam I could find! If you're looking to get a caffeine hit by REAL STRONG VIETNAMESE COFFEE, this is the spot for you. Comparing it to Tram, this place is definitely stronger. I ordered on its soft closing, which was 20% off drinks. I got the durian coffee at full sweetness. It had more of a kick than comparable coffee shops at 50%. The cashier was super kind and chatted sweetly with many cô's in the store. If there was a wait, he would keep the customers entertained. Around 15% of the cup was filled with fresh durian shavings. When you mix it, you'd slurp up fresh durian pieces with Vietnamese coffee. They did not skimp out on the durian, but wish there was a slightly stronger durian taste. I was really excited to visit this place after seeing a tiktok about it. However, I was disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the pandan flavor was missing from the "pandan" milk tea. I didn't feel too comfortable drinking it because the color looked like it was artificially dyed and was almost neon, unlike normal pandan items. The egg coffee was nice. At my visit, I learned that the owners of this place pocket ALL THE TIPS and don't pay any to their workers. I was really saddened to hear that and I wish the owners would be more fair to their workers especially since the guy who took my order was so nice. The pandan jelly had a nice bite to it and was lightly flavored, although it was a little hard to get up into the straw. If you're looking for unique drinks then this is the spot! Decided to check this place out for their pandan milk tea and I was not disappointed! You can definitely taste the pandan flavor and I like to get it less sweet with pandan jelly. The pandan jelly itself doesn't have any pandan taste to it but I like adding it in for texture. We also tried the longan honey oolong milk tea which was good but not as good as the pandan drink. Came back a second time and tried the creme brûlée milk tea which was not it because the crème brûlée topping wasn't smooth and did not mix into the drink well. Upon stepping into the store, it really reminded me of Bambu since they both serve Vietnamese desserts (che). I got the lychee rose milk tea and it wasn't too bad. I found this store after seeing it go viral on TikTok, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It was very busy when I got there but the owner, Richard, greeted me and was incredibly nice and helpful throughout my visit. I ordered a Purple Rice Avocado which was 10/10. The purple rice was very fragrant and add such a unique, satisfying texture. I loved this one and would highly recommend it. I was then curious about their matcha options, so I asked Richard for recommendations, and he offered to let me try a Blueberry Matcha from their unreleased menu!! I was genuinely impressed by the quality of their matcha. I'd rate the Blueberry Matcha an 8/10. It was very good, though I personally would have enjoyed a stronger blueberry flavor. Overall, I'd give the drinks a 9/10 and customer service a perfect 10/10. Richard was very hands-on, even personally delivering drinks to tables, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. This is a new and upcoming spot in the Silver Creek Plaza! They have really great service and good music playing when I went. The drinks are nice and refreshing. My mom got a Xi Muoi Plum Tea and I got the Lychee Rose Milk Tea. She really enjoyed her drink and said it reminded her of the drinks she would get in Vietnam.
