Tasty Vietnamese coffee with a curated menu highlighting both traditional and modern flavors. The phin dripped coffee is robust and gives you that immediate rush of caffeine. The egg coffee is both sweet and bold, giving a custard-like effect. The banana coffee is infused with real banana and Nutella but didn't overpower the coffee. It's so well balanced! The pandan latte is lightly fragrant and reminds me of how a sweet and floral perfume would taste. It's topped with a velvety pandan cream. Service was really quick.
Yummy black sesame latte! We stopped in after hearing great things and it did not disappoint. The baristas suggested their favorite lattes and pastries. We also tried the sesame bun which was warm and flakey. Service was super friendly and quick. I like the neat ambiance and there was plenty of seating. Most had no back seating though. I do wish they had smaller sizes this was too much latte for one.
I've heard so many great things about this place and stopped by right before meeting a friend at the Seattle Marathon! Food & drink: (4/5) I don't drink coffee but I'm a sucker for Vietnamese coffee. My partner got one (not sure which) that was absolutely delicious and had a delectable foam top. For Viet coffee, I tend to look for a deep caramel flavor and a slight saltiness. This met all the marks. He also got a cinnamon roll, which was good but also just a cinnamon roll. I did love how fluffy it was and it had the classic spiced flavor. I got an iced gloomy matcha, which is a matcha with sesame creme. I thought this was just ok. Both the sesame and matcha flavor weren't as strong as I would've liked but I'm still glad to have tried it. Service (5/5): Amazing staff! I was a little confused when I first walked in because I didn't see any menus, but they quickly pointed me to it at the front counter lol. Other notes: Not sure if this is a place I would study at since table seating is very limited and chairs are small. As for parking, there's street parking out front and a bunch of free spaces around the general area.
Aroom Coffee is well-known and loved for their Vietnamese-style coffee drinks. A few of us were at Aroom catching up this past Thursday afternoon. I was unsure what to order, but the barista I talked to was really helpful in making suggestions based on my preferences. I decided to order off of their Matcha list since the Aroom Signatures would have been too sweet. GLOOMY MATCHA (ICED) - 7 +1 for oat milk The matcha latte was very creamy, and the oat milk definitely enhanced it. The sesame cream mixed well with the drink, and it wasn't too sweet! However, there was a bit of bitterness at the end that I didn't enjoy. Overall, good drink, but expensive. My friends got the Vietnamese coffee-based drinks and indeed it was incredibly sweet which the enjoyed. The interior is nice and and clean, and I understand why people love Aroom.
We first paid a visit to Aroom in mid-2024, when we tried their signature sesame latte and pate & pork floss house cake. Everything was fine but nothing stood out. The coffee wasn't strong enough flavor-wise, and the pate in the house cake taste weird. Time went by and we returned to Aroom in 2025 to try other items. This time we found our favorites - banana coffee and banana matcha were both super delicious. The banana coffee was very strong, both flavor-wise and its potency. The plain house cake was delicious too. The nutty cloud (vegan) was also tasty - they did a good job not letting the nutty cream overpower the coffee. My only complaint now is how much ice they put into the banana matcha - for $7 before-tax, the actual drink is probably less than 8 oz, as they fill more than half the cup with ice, even when I requested less ice... That price - portion ratio is insane even for Seattle...
One of my fave Asian coffee places in Seattle! Inside: this place is so cutie and lots of seating! Parking: there's ample parking around the neighborhood Drinks: I got the banana matcha and it's so good! It's on the sweeter side, but I don't mind it. My friend got the sesame matcha and it's not as sweet I would rate this a 10/10 and recommend if you're looking for a coffee/matcha place that has Asian flavors
My sister and I came here for a little coffee date and were really impressed with the salty coffee and the Saigon brown -- both were so good! The coffee was rich and creamy and most importantly not too sweet. I also tried the gloomy matcha, which honestly wasn't great. I even had them remake it, but it still tasted super watery and bland. I know a lot of people rave about the matcha here, so maybe I just caught a bad batch? The café itself is super aesthetic and I love the décor -- definitely Instagram-worthy. Parking is street parking, which isn't the most convenient, but I've never had too much trouble finding a spot nearby.
Seattle has its fair share of great Vietnamese coffee (I'm jealous) and wish this was the trend for the rest country... each drink feels like it was personally crafted for you. We tried the banana bread, latte, egg, coffee, latte, and Pandan latte. All three were amazing. The Vibin aesthetic here is also very trendy cool and laid-back. I see it more as a place you would gather with friends to meet up with and talk versus study or work.
Finally popped in here when I was nearby and glad I did! The cashier was so friendly and helpful. She even let me taste the sesame and pandan flavors of cream so I could decide which one I wanted. I ended up getting the sesame iced matcha. It was very creamy and delicious. Very cute ambiance, and busy on the weekend. It could be a good place to get some work done if a bit quieter I think.
10/10 matcha but also a really cool cafe! We ordered the iced pandan matcha, sesame matcha, regular matcha latte, and pandan latte. All were delicious. I do recommend asking for half-sweet for the pandan latte because the sweet cold foam can be overwhelming, but it was sooo delicious. I'm surprised I liked it so much because it wasn't actually an espresso based drink, it was Vietnamese drip coffee! So glad I tried it. The space is very chic and modern/japandi style. Can definitely set up shop and study or hang with friends. It's not cozy per se, but not uncomfortable or cold. Parking: street parking, we got lucky and found a spot near the front of the shop, but we also went on a Monday afternoon. Next time, I'd love to go grab a drink then enjoy it at Gasworks Park!

Aroom Coffee in Fremont, WA $6+ per drink Aroom is a cute Vietnamese coffeehouse with unique drinks and aesthetic decor. Some of their specialty drinks include their sesame latte, egg coffee and avocado coffee. On this trip, we got their gloomy matcha and their passion fruit green tea. Their gloomy matcha is a matcha latte with seasoned cream on top. The matcha was rich, creamy and had a strong matcha taste. The sesame top complemented well and had good flavor! The passion fruit GT wasn't too sweet and was very refreshing -- this is my favorite passion fruit tea i've had, even compared to boba shops around the area! I've also tried their sesame latte and egg coffee, which are also really good. I look forward to coming back to potentially study or just try other drinks on the menu! They also are very helpful if it's your first time. There is a menu posted outside of their top drinks, but they also answer any questions you have. If you're not satisfied with your drink, they will remake it for you. read more
A very cute, modern, and minimalistic coffee shop in Fremont, among a lot of amazing restaurants nearby! We went here on Sunday right at opening to get some coffee and try their xoi man (sticky rice) as I have heard today is the last day they have it before they change up their food menu. I personally got the black sesame latte, which had a nice black sesame cream which did not overpower the Vietnamese coffee taste. It was a bit sweet but enjoyable. Even the small one helped fuel my day. The sticky rice was very good - I wish I tried it sooner, but better late than never! It has a bunch of fixings like the Chinese sausage, pork floss, cha lua, dried shrimp, fried egg, and quail egg. The sauce was very good - it had a little bit of fish sauce as well as some marinated pork bits. While there is a lot of sticky rice, portions are more of snack size than a meal. There is enough fixings to make the sticky rice flavorful throughout. Overall, the coffee and food are good, though a bit on the pricier side compared to other Vietnamese coffee shops around the greater Seattle area. A feedback I would like to give is that they should have communicated a bit better on when the sticky rice was available, since it was apparently only available after a certain time (9am, one hour after opening), whether it be through the website or Instagram, which is why I give this place 4 stars. I will be back as a lot of my friends love to get Vietnamese coffee. Hoping my next visit will be a 5 stars experience! read more

Love the inside and the logo. It's an all rounder type of business and you can tell the owner cares about the quality of their products and the aesthetic. The drinks are amazing as it looks. If I live near here I would probably be a regular The refresher drinks are so good. read more

Their aesthetic is GIVING - just walking in there puts me at peace. I love that the music wasn't too loud and the ambiance was calming, could definitely see myself coming in for any day when I might need to work. I went early on a Saturday morning when they had just opened and had the whole place to ourselves. Since they weren't serving food when I went (I think this was during their soft opening), I can only attest to the drinks. I got the 16 oz ice sesame latte and loved it. The sesame foam cream at the top was pretty thiccc, but tasty! It was the perfect amount of sweet. I would definitely come back again. read more

absolutely love this coffee shop in fremont!! i study here on the weekends, the interior is nice and minimalist vibe. if you're looking for a study spot go early because it can get pretty crowded. i recommended getting the gloomy matcha. read more
Minimal, chic, modern, Aroom Coffee brings an unique Asian twist on coffee. I've heard great things on their black sesame latte, and that's what I got. I asked if it could be made with dairy free milk, but the barista said the dairy alternative wouldn't taste the same. I figured my lactose-intolerant self could suck it up for the sake of good coffee and opted for the full dairy version. The coffee was good! Strong, sweet, nutty from the black sesame, it balanced well. I did think it was a bit sweet for my liking and will ask for half-sweet next time. I wished the black sesame flavor was stronger though. My friend got their gloomy matcha - black sesame and matcha latte and it was not as good as we were hoping. The black sesame and matcha were both underwhelming and tasted like milk. All the baristas were very friendly and the one who took my order even asked me if my drink was good and if I felt okay drinking it since it was full dairy. Hospitable and kind, Aroom Coffee is a great place for a chill work from home day or just come and enjoy the vibes! read more

FINALLY got around to trying this new coffee spot and I'm not even a coffee person ! The shop was a little confusing to find at first. I loved the gloomy matcha that I got. The black sesame topping was so flavorful and fluffy. It wasn't too sweet and I would totally get it again. But if you're not a fan of black sesame, the taste is pretty strong. The galaxy drink was like a sparkling lemonade that tastes like the 7up with lemon in China. I also tried the pancake with cream cheese and it wasn't great, too much cheese and it was a bit too dry for me. read more

In a city full of coffee shops, Aroom is something special. The specialty drinks include egg coffee, avocado coffee, coffee with sesame foam, coconut coffee... the list goes on and every single item is worth trying. Perfect spot to relax by the big windows on a cloudy day. read more

My first time coming and it was PACKED, but I can see why. The combination of their different types of drinks is something I haven't seen at any other cafe in seattle. Sesame with matcha?? Avocado coffee? Egg coffee?? The list goes on. There was unfortunately limited seating when I went on a weekend mid day, but the cups are perfect to go. The staff were pleasant , and the atmosphere was bright. Highly recommend , I will be planning my next trip soon! read more
Aroom Coffee probably has the best aesthetics out of all the other Vietnamese coffee shops in the area, there are also actually room to sit. I've had it bookmarked for a while from seeing all the foodie friends post about it, but was dreading the drive to Fremont, turns out that if I wanted to pay for the toll from the east side, it wasn't that bad of a drive. Cute neighborhood too, I really don't get over to this side as much to see what I'm missing out on, at least not during the daytime. Lol. With my very demanding lifestyle with really no days off, I read an article by a life coach recommending to constantly have something simple ongoing to look forward to to quickly boost your happiness. For me, that's probably adding more cafes/restaurants to my list that never ends and coming home to attempt to write either descriptive or witty reviews as a creative outlet, an activity I don't have to depend on the presence of another human being, I just have to make sure I show up during open hours. I ordered the sesame latte because the black color looks cool, it has a unique taste that I dig. I'll probably never be able to make it to try their sticky rice that is only offer on weekends since I work every weekend, but I hear it's good. I love coffee! And I'm so glad there's been several of these specialty coffee shops popping up with super fun flavors lately. Most with Vietnamese flavors. This place is cute and fun, bright, simple but pretty. I didn't realize they closed at 5 pm. Got here around 4:45. Glad the barista/ (Min? )Came out to let me know their closing time. He was sweet enough to let me order too. Plus 1 star! The coffee itself has many choices. I went with Saigon brown: Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk, super strong coffee flavor that I love. Also tried their black sesame latte: 16 oz. It's like dessert in a cup! Pretty to look at too. They had a cake but they sold out. Weekend, they serve rice cakes with sausage and so on. The platter looks like a fun feast. Parking took me a little while but it's free/ street parking. Place is cute! And dog friendly. I'll be back!!!! read more

I've been visiting and recommending this place to a lot of friends for quite a while. I've tried various drinks they offer, and my go to is always their Black Sesame latte. Over time, I noticed that they put less and less sesame cream on top of the drink, so I requested for an extra sesame cream on my visit yesterday. They charge an extra $1 for it, and my drink came out to be $8.54 after tax). It was on the expensive side to be charging a full dollar for an extra sesame cream, but I understand things cost higher these days. Now the peak of my disappointment: the drink came out with the same amount of sesame cream as usual!! They said that it was covered by the ice, that's why I can't see it. But even after I finished the drink, I still didn't feel like there was any extra cream added nor that it's worth the extra $1 charge... This experience honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. I would still visit here once in a while when I really crave the sesame latte, but probably not adding any extra anything. Advice to the team: if you're charging customers a full dollar for any extra anything, it should be made worth the charge. this is not just about the money, but the experience customers walking out with... read more
Aroom Coffee was one of my first stops during my short visit to Seattle and I'm so glad I made time to stop by this time around! I've heard a lot of hype around Aroom Coffee and their drinks totally live up to the hype :)!! I've tried a bunch of black sesame lattes and theirs by far had the best amount of black sesame flavor and it was not overly sweet. The ratio of black sesame topping to coffee was perfect!! They are not skimpy at all with the black sesame. It was a perfectly well balanced coffee. If you love black sesame, this is the drink to try!! The workers were so friendly as well and was able to walk my friend around the questions she had about their different drinks. Their workers were very knowledgeable about their drink offerings! The shop had tons of seating and the place was filled at around 9:30am! This is definitely the spot to sit and work and even catch up with your friends :) Aroom Coffee is definitely one of the places I'll be coming back to whenever I'm in Seattle! read more

Pleasantly surprised by the drinks. Got the Logan Lotus Tea half sweet and the Egg Coffee. The tea was very light and refreshing, didn't have that artificial syrup flavor. The tea flavor stood out with a subtle fruit flavor and wasn't too sweet. The coffee kind of tasted like tiramisu from the egg, a stronger coffee flavor. We got regular sweetness, it was a little sweet but not too sweet. The bitterness of the coffee helped balance it out. Interior is minimal and cute, employee was helpful as well. read more

Black sesame coffee was unique but so good! The black sesame cloud is thick though but very creamy and flavorful. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and delicious. The matcha was a bit watery for me in my opinion but my husband seemed to like it and I'd be willing to try it again. No parking lot so you'll need to find street parking. read more

Cute little coffee shop with really good coffee but a little expensive. Most of the coffee is in the Vietnamese style but they offer a very good selection of flavors like pandan, egg, and black sesame. Highly recommend if you're looking to indulge yourself in a tasty latte and take an instagrammable commemorative photo. read more

I've been here a few times and though I love the coffee, I do wish EVERY SINGLE TIME that they had a bigger size. The egg crème is so great. A bold brew cut with a light marshmallow-y sweet flavored whipped egg yolk. Mind you it's a few minutes away from the freeway and you may hit a few longer than normal traffic lights... but oh so worth it. read more

had to stop by aroom and see what the hype was about! it's a very minimal and modern cafe in fremont--super cute decor. limited indoor seating (tables and booths) service was so kind and polite. the employee at the cashier really put in the effort to be friendly and ask about my day. drinks seem to be made with care and attention to detail. // black sesame latte (16oz) $7.44 // this was definitely a pricey latte, but it was a treat. black sesame is very thick and creamy on top, mix with coffee on the bottom. the main downside for me was that this drink was wayyyy too sweet for me. i usually get 50-30% sweet and boba places but presumed i wouldn't be able to adjust the sweetness here (maybe i should've asked). the drinks are also quite small for the price since there's a lot of ice too. super cute cafe to sit and catch up with friends -- a lot of people were taking pics too. definitely a great place if you like really sweet drinks or coffee, but otherwise take caution lol. read more

everything about this place was amazing! my family and i agreed that aroom has one of the best egg coffees we've had thus far, and we've tried a good amount from socal, i wish we had a location here too! the sesame latte was to die for as well! the sesame flavor was strong and apparent but didn't overwhelm the coffee, which was smooth. the house cakes were also so good, the sweetness of the pork floss with rich and savory pâté was a much needed snack to enjoy. the store is cute and quaint with decent seating inside and a couple tables outside to chat and study. the staff was also really patient and kind to help us order for our first time! will definitely make a trip back when in seattle! read more

Aroom is easily one of my favorite coffee spots in Seattle!! Their sesame matcha is my go to drink that hits the spot and their Vietnamese coffee is also delicious! The interior design of this shop is also gorgeous and super aesthetic to take pictures or sit down and do work here! read more
This is my new favorite Viet coffee spot. I saw pics of this place and wanted to check it out bc of its cute interior but WOW I was blown away by how bomb their drinks are. We got the sesame latte and saigonese coconut coffee both were the perfect blend of sweet and aromatic coffee flavor. I really enjoyed my sesame latte....it had that wonderful cream top that I mixed into my drink. Amazing LOL The actual cafe is pretty small but there were a few tables for you to sit down and bc we visited on a busy Saturday afternoon there were people waiting outside with their buzzers. I have to say I have never seen such an aesthetic cafe before in the States....literally all the furniture and even the staff looked like they came right out of an interior design book! Definitely visit for the IG pics if you're into that, but overall a casual spot to enjoy your drink with friends. The worker who took our order was also very friendly and took the time to explain what the popular drinks were! It's a little pricey for a 12oz ($7) but that's pretty normal price for Seattle now -- my recommendation is to get the 16oz because 12 IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!! Debating if I should get another drink as I'm sipping my latte and writing this review...lol. I would give it a 6/5 if I could! Can't wait to visit again :) read more
Wanted to try the black sesame latte and was not disappointed. There was a good sesame flavor without being too overpowering. I thought the coffee would be a bit stronger but would come back to try the other drinks on the menu. The interior of the cafe is very open and aesthetically pleasing. This place is very Instagram worthy. It's nice and clean and has a very modern look to it. They have tons of different flavors but I got the coconut coffee and my friends all go the black sesame one. Both of which were very good. Service was a little slow but it was very busy when we went so that was to be expected. It took maybe 15mins to get out drinks. Over all I would come back. read more

Loved the ambience of this place, so minimalist and lovely to just go and work there for the day. They had some pastries along with a wide variety of drinks. The mango tea I got tasted super sweet and like syrup. Wasn't the biggest fan of this but the salted foam on top was SO GOOD! Once I mixed it in the tea it tasted so so delicious. Whatever drink you get, try the foam on top. I thought the sesame late was a bit too sesame but honestly idk what I was expecting. It was still very tasty, I'm just not sure I can have a whole glass of it! read more

Service 10/10 I went on a weekend morning and got my coffee and food is less than 10 mins, and looking at the crowd around me I would say it was faster than I expected. Food 8/10 I tried the house cakes, in the pics they look like sandwich but the description says otherwise so I was little confused as to what I was gonna get, but I got exactly what the description mentioned, the pate in the cake was great. Coffee 20/10 I got the sesame latte, even though I asked for light ice as I really don't like to water down my coffee, I want the flavor of the coffee, and I drink my coffee slowly, I still didn't get light ice, but the drink was so good that I drank it pretty fast. Vibe 7/10 Its great but Seattle has so many amazing cafes with great vibes that its tough competition out there. Would definitely go back to try the other coffees. read more

Absolutely delicious coffee, authentic to their Vietnamese roots, and a stunning chic interior design! I loved my experience coming to Aroom. Their seasame latte is their house special for a reason, it's soo tasty, creamy, and has a unique sesame flavor without over powering the coffee. The service was also 5/5 as they take the time to explain their menu and specials and even offer to remake your drink if it's not to your liking! Only cons are you cannot swap the milks for an alternative as they explained it would alter the flavor of how they intended this drink to be. Other con is it was nearly $9 after tip for a 16oz. Still a delicious drink that I'll treat myself to every so often! read more
