This place is very Instagram worthy. It's nice and clean and has a very modern look to it. They have tons of different flavors but I got the coconut coffee and my friends all go the black sesame one. Loved the ambience of this place, so minimalist and lovely to just go and work there for the day. They had some pastries along with a wide variety of drinks. The mango tea I got tasted super sweet and like syrup. Wasn't the biggest fan of this but the salted foam on top was SO GOOD! Once I mixed it in the tea it tasted so so delicious. Whatever drink you get, try the foam on top. I thought the sesame late was a bit too sesame but honestly idk what I was expecting. Congrats to Aroom on their grand opening today! I'm a total sucker for free things so went early since they were giving our tote bags for the first 100 customers. First of all, the coffee shop was decorated so beautifully. I love the calming, wood aesthetic. The service was also awesome. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and checked in on how the drinks were. The drinks themselves were so good! I love black sesame so obviously got the black sesame latte which was delicious. The black sesame is on top, so they recommend stirring it so the flavor can get all mixed in. The drink was a bit sweet but the black sesame really balanced the sweetness. My partner got the salty coffee (I can't remember exactly what it's called), and he loved it too! The cream on top had just the right amount of salt and mixed so well with the coffee. I got the small Salty coffee and a chocolate latte. The salted coffee tasted really good but the cup was super small compared to other cafes. On the other hand, the Chocolate latte tasted like chocolate water and would not recommend it. There is a lot of space inside and outside to chill, hangout or do your work and the baristas were super kind. read more

They have amazing Vietnamese coffee but the logistics could definitely use some work. We waited about 10 minutes for our two drinks and then another 3 minutes for the croissant. Unfortunately my partner's sesame latte was lukewarm at most too, as they probably made that one first, then mine after. This is our second time here and the first was closer to when they first opened so we gave the timing a pass. They do have a sign that says if you're unhappy with your drink they can remake it, but we were running late for an appointment. I will say, if you do have the time, both the croissant and drinks are reallyyy tasty but if you're short on time, I would find another spot. They don't have too many pastry options either, but I saw others bring donuts from up the street at Doce to enjoy with their drinks. read more

Absolutely delicious coffee, authentic to their Vietnamese roots, and a stunning chic interior design! I loved my experience coming to Aroom. Their seasame latte is their house special for a reason, it's soo tasty, creamy, and has a unique sesame flavor without over powering the coffee. The service was also 5/5 as they take the time to explain their menu and specials and even offer to remake your drink if it's not to your liking! Only cons are you cannot swap the milks for an alternative as they explained it would alter the flavor of how they intended this drink to be. Other con is it was nearly $9 after tip for a 16oz. I'm a regular at Urban Nail Box and was so surprised to see that they opened a cafe! I stopped in a couple of weeks after the grand opening and tried the Black Sesame Latte ($7) which was delicious! Super rich and flavorful. Everything on the menu looked really good and definitely made me want to come back to try them all, though it is on the pricier end of cafe drinks. The interior of the cafe is super minimal and modern, which I loved, but they don't have a lot of sitting room and could use more tables in the space. They are also dog friendly, which was a HUGE plus for us as there aren't that many cafes that allow dogs indoors! Parking is all street parking which was not bad at all at a mid day time on the weekend. Overall, an amazing addition to the area and I will definitely be back for a nice coffee! read more

Service 10/10 I went on a weekend morning and got my coffee and food is less than 10 mins, and looking at the crowd around me I would say it was faster than I expected. Food 8/10 I tried the house cakes, in the pics they look like sandwich but the description says otherwise so I was little confused as to what I was gonna get, but I got exactly what the description mentioned, the pate in the cake was great. Coffee 20/10 I got the sesame latte, even though I asked for light ice as I really don't like to water down my coffee, I want the flavor of the coffee, and I drink my coffee slowly, I still didn't get light ice, but the drink was so good that I drank it pretty fast. Vibe 7/10 Its great but Seattle has so many amazing cafes with great vibes that its tough competition out there. Would definitely go back to try the other coffees. read more

Delicious! - doesn't do it justice. It might be that I'm new to Vietnamese coffee, but this unique take on original drinks is incredible, in my opinion. It's also a great atmosphere with lots of light and seating. My parent got the latte with egg cream, and it tasted like crème brûlée. It seemed like the coffee would have tasted amazing, even without it. I got the matcha with sesame cream, per the barista's recommendation and it did not disappoint! And their sticky rice was so good, I wish I made my partner get his own instead of agreeing to share haha. LOVE. For seattle being such a coffee place, I'm glad to see more variety and a friendly welcome for cafes that innovate and are creative. There are few words to describe how great the drinks were and how beyond friendly the baristas are-- we asked lots of questions and they promised to make a new drink if we didn't like the ones we ordered. How nice! Egg coffee: tbh it wasn't my favorite because it had hints of hazelnut but that's just a personal bias. My friend really liked it. It was creamy, smooth, and a bit sweet but still good. Sesame latte: was told this was the fan favorite and I loved it. The sesame taste was so strong but not overbearing. The texture is really creamy and honestly, just perfect. I got it iced but was told it's good iced or hot. The interior epitomizes my dream home; minimalist yet cozy. I will for sure be back again and again! Very aesthetic and cute coffee shop! The black sesame cream is delicious. I've had both their coffee and matcha with black sesame cream. The first time, I did not know there was an option to get it less sweet as it was not mentioned anywhere- I only found out when placing an order online. I wish it was made more clear. The Vietnam-style drinks tend to be too sweet for my taste but asking for less sweet made it a lot better. Table seating is extremely limited. There's 8 indoor tables and 2 outdoor ones. There are also some stools and low tables but those are uncomfortable if you plan to do a laptop to work. The lighting is very good with floor-to-ceiling windows but if you are lucky to even get a table, if it's by the window, the sun can get in your face and there are no blinds. Wifi is okay, a bit slow and some e-commerce sites are blocked but definitely workable. read more

I have always had this place on my list to try especially looking at the positive reviews. Looking at the most popular drink- sesame latte, I decided to give it a go. I won't lie, I was quite skeptical. Black sesame with milk. Ummm, ok! Will the sesame be overpowering? Will they make the coffee too sweet? There was only one way to quash the doubt, which is to try it out. And I'm glad I did coz man, this coffee flavour is work the hype. And yes, you'd want to lick the black sesame foam BUT don't and rather mix it in with the drink and voila! It's magic. But, yes, coffee price is a little steep. Not something you'd indulge on everyday. I got in to the coffee shop around 10ish am. It was packed! Service was pretty prompt. The guy behind the counter was serving people with a huge smile. Definitely welcoming. Giving it 4 stars as I want to try their other drinks to see if it's good overall or just a one hit wonder. read more

Aroom is a pretty snazzy cafe place! The interior is a nice minimalist aesthetic. I recommend getting their early if you want a table space is limited and it gets packed right away. I had the Gloomy Matcha I thought there was an equal balance of matcha and sesame crème. The Peach Iced Tea is another refreshing drink I recommend trying.
