My experience at this salon was very disappointing, and I left with my natural nails extremely damaged. I came in one afternoon with acrylic nails that were almost four weeks old. I explained to the technician that she could either fill them or remove them, depending on what she thought was best. Since she is the professional, I trusted her recommendation when she told me it would be better to remove them and put on a new set. I was also leaving the country the following day, so I trusted her judgment and agreed. To remove the acrylic, she placed my hands inside a plastic bag filled with acetone and then put the bag into a container with warm water. After a few minutes, my fingers started to burn and hurt, so I decided to take my hands out. When she came back and saw that I had removed my hands, she became very upset. I explained that I did not want to keep my hands in the acetone because they were burning and hurting. Her attitude changed completely. She started speaking in her language, apparently very upset. She eventually used cotton and aluminum foil to continue the removal process. After that, she began removing the acrylic with an electric file. I told her several times that she was hurting me, but she continued. At one point, she even placed a towel in front of my hands so I could not see what she was doing while filing. When she finished, my natural nails were extremely thin and weak. Since then, they have been breaking constantly, and they are so fragile that even doing normal things with my hands has become difficult. What concerns me the most is that I clearly told her several times that I was in pain and that the procedure was hurting me. Also, after she became upset because I removed my hands from the acetone, I felt that her approach changed and that the removal became much more aggressive. I cannot know what her intentions were, but as a customer, I felt very uncomfortable and felt that my well-being was no longer her priority. I understand that removing acrylic can take time and that there are different methods for doing it. My concern is not simply the use of acetone, but the way the procedure was performed, the pain I experienced, and the damage that was ultimately done to my natural nails. read more

I used to come to this nail salon often, but today was really disappointing. The salon felt very dirty and unsanitary, and I've attached a photo because it speaks for itself. I asked about pricing as soon as I walked in and was told $23. Halfway through my nails, I was then told it was $35, even though I was very clear about what I wanted from the start. That felt misleading. Instead of sitting around talking, the staff could spend time cleaning their stations and making the place look more professional. It's very understandable that when a nail salon is heavily full of people, it's common practice to take your time giving the service to someone rather than rushing it and messing up somebody's nails and toenails. I got my pedicure done by one of the employees there with the lightest blonde/lightest brown hair. She came up to me in a full rush, gave me the service menu and picked it out for me rather than me having to decide what I wanted. On top of that, she was pushing on gel nail polish in which I don't like gel nail polish. She walked away and I was able to reach over another service menu that was nearby and while the choice she picked out for me so happen to be fine I just did not want gel nail polish so when I told her I don't want gel nail polish, She responded, "Oh, you no want gel, why not gel is good". Typically, I do like my toe nails to be trimmed a little bit shorter than usual, because she was in a rush. She really over trimmed my Toenails. They look horrible and are completely uneven. On top of that when it was time to apply the nail polish, I specifically asked for one coat of regular nail color polish, followed by Three coats of the glitter nail polish on top. All those instructions were completely ignored because she continued to be in a rush. She absolutely deserves 0 stars. I'm rating this place 1 star because it is unprofessional all around to push on a service on to someone over being very Desperate, rather than asking what service someone wants. This is completely upsetting. When it came Time to charge she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to leave her a tip. I looked back at my toes and responded "uhh, I don't think so, NO!!" Instead I felt the need to leave as quick as possible over this horrible service. Never again with this place. read more

I walked in to get a pedicure and gel X. My pedicure was great and she asked me about what she was doing as she was doing it to make sure it was okay. She was very friendly. The woman who did my gel X just honestly didn't do a good job at all. Ad soon as she saw a regular costumer come in for a pedicure after she started on me, I could tell she was just rushing and didn't care. She didn't check her work as she was doing it, never asked me about specifics as she went and just did not care about the quality of work. All my nails are completely different shapes and lengths due to her not checking her work a single time as she was doing it. She legit just slapped the nails on, painted them and didn't look at a single thing. The 6 week old set I came in with looked so much better than what I walked out with. I would not recommend this place. I came in today expecting the same service I had previously received at this location, but my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, the girl at the front told me the wait would be about 15 minutes. I ended up waiting closer to 30 minutes. I understand that places can get busy, but it would have been more respectful to give an accurate wait time so customers can decide whether they want to stay or come back later. After waiting, I told her that I wanted builder gel. She then told me that they do not offer builder gel at this location. This was confusing because I have had builder gel done there before. Instead, she said she could only do regular gel, which is not the same service. I specifically choose builder gel for a reason, so being told they couldn't do it after I had already waited so long was very frustrating. Overall, I felt like my time was not valued, and the information given to me was inconsistent with my previous experience there. When I finally sat down to get my full set, I showed the lady the photo of what I wanted and she immediately turned sour and said "that's gunna be $85.00",.. I know that's on the pricey side but I was like "ok no worries.. that's what I want" She then started the process and was very aggressive when doing my nails such as pulling my hands all over and literally filing my skin.. ouch!! When she started painting the nails I mentioned that she forgot the sparkles and the rhinestones and she answered saying she already put the gel on and she can't redo it now... unfortunately it seems like she had left me with no choice but to get what she was going to be completing regardless of the picture I gave. The worst part about this whole thing is, even after my nails were completed and she clearly was aware that she didn't give me what I had asked for... they still charges me $85.00. Like what!!??? The $85.00 estimate what based on the photo I had initial showed which includes glitter and rhinestones which I did not receive so any normal person would not charge for something that the customer didn't get. After leaving, I immediately went to a nail salon 5 minutes down the way and BEGGED the techs to fix the disaster I was left with. THANKFULLY the were amazingly kind and jumped to fix my nails right away. 30 minutes later I was left with EXACTLY what I had initially asked for. read more

I have been a customer here over the years. The service had been great until this past Monday. I went and got a special pedicure with French tip in gel. The lady who did my nails started to hurt me and I started feeling stiff. It got to the point where I told her it hurts and she keept going! And she showed me the skin she had removed, by placing it and leaving it on the foot the until she did polish.... that as the day went on toes would sting and feel sore. I put peroxide after I showered, and it showed there was a wound on both feet. She basically removed an extreme amount of skin and went too deep. My feet hurt so much and you can now see the scab and brusided skin (my right foot is the worst.) 48$ and a $5 tip, to get my feet abused at this point since it hurts when I walk/put pressure on my feet. read more

I'm from out of town for a football tournament and wanted to get my nails done. Searched Instagram and found this spot. Checked out their Yelp ans it was ok. Walked in with no appointment was thinking it would be full and no availability since it was after 5 and they close at 7 but Angela said she could do it. I wanted to get the nails that have the glitter and stuff inside it and was told I would need a full set. Sooooo I had to cut all my nails off, soak off my acrylic and get new tips for the design I wanted. They tried to cut them off and lift up but that resulted in my pinky mail bed cracking in half and starting to bleed. She was quick to stop, blot the blood and put the antibacterial drops on it then proceeded to soak off the remaining acrylic. I was really indecisive about what I wanted so she was super nice with walking me through the process of picking out colors and glitter etc. Once we had that done it was smooth sailing from there. I was done a little after 7pm. I really appreciated the time she took to help me and not rush because it was almost time to close. I will surely come back here if I am in town. I brought my little sister and her boyfriend to get pedicures done on them. My sister's boyfriend is Vietnamese which means he understands the language. The staff that were doing his feet were talking in Vietnamese how they should charge him more due to having an "Athlete's foot" all while laughing. Saying things like "he won't understand, he's Korean" they made him feel so bad about his feet he ended up leaving early and didn't enjoy his experience. I don't tolerate racism or any sign of rudeness of any sort. I don't like leaving negative reviews at nail salons because it's a hard job to do and understand that consumers could be so rude. However, I had the worst experience that was just not okay and wouldn't want anyone to experience this. I had nail tech for a pedicure & a different one for my manicure. The nail tech for my pedicure, aggressively kept pushing me to get gel on my toes & I respectfully said no just regular because personally I don't like the way it outgrows & I explained that and ended with but I'll do it for my manicure. She got upset and aggressively began to handle my feet and spoke to the tech that was handling my nails. Both their demeanors changed and began moving my feet and hands rudely with out verbally directing and sorta smacking my feet/hands to move them in and out. I assumed she was upset because I was probably giving her the impression that I was being "cheap" & honestly it bothered me because if it bothers them then it shouldn't be an option. Money wasn't an issue, I still thanked them & tipped $10 each. But the way they handled my body, starred at me and aggressively laugh and spoke. It would honestly hurt my heart if anyone experienced this and all they could afford is the basic service. Nail techs deserve respect for doing a job that isn't cleanest/easiest thing to do. But doesn't give you a right to be horrible. I lost my dad & have neglected my body for so long, I was extremely anxious to pamper myself & honestly it made me feel so much worse.
