    Tropical Negroni.

Ash I found by accident as I was looking for speakeasies by the Pearl, and the one I searched had a door charge on Saturdays. Fortunately, I saw that Ash served cocktails an was around the corner next to the Edition Tampa. So we took a gander over and enjoyed some lovely craft cocktails. The dining room and bar has a sleek vibe with white and pink flourishes and neon eliminating over the bar shelving. Vintage-like booths in the middle of the room help partition the bar area from the dining area. You can order food at the bar if you like. We had come for the cocktails since we had already eaten. And the cocktails were grand. The mixologists were on point with the signatures on the list and what I also ordered off the menu. The Tropical Negroni certainly radiated a lot of that description with rum being the primary spirit instead of gin, with pineapple, vanilla, and passion fruit notes. The Paper Plane was done wicked well, with a lovely fruitiness and creaminess to it. We will return to have dinner and more of the cocktails on our next trip to Tampa.

Had a great meal here, walking in early. The restaurant has great high ceilings with a lot of light (almost too much as there was some glare during sunset), and is casually upscale. The service was very friendly and we were recommended that we were ordering too much but we went with it anyway (and they were right). All the dishes were good, especially the prawns. Pastas weren't my favorite. Portion sizes were reasonable which made it easy to share and taste a lot of things!

First time here and absolutely loved sitting at the bar. Really great decor and the bartenders were amazing. The food was so creatively presented and so delicious. We got here in time for happy hour, which was nice so decided to have a dozen PEI oysters. I would eat another dozen if I could and that's how good it was. It's not traditional in that. They already add a bit of the mignonette to the oysters. The presentation on the pebbles was just beautiful. Focaccia bread was huge and just perfect amount of salt and the ricotta was scrumptious. Then we shared the chicken cutlet and it was very large so really good dish to share or have leftovers. So flavorful with the capers and just so tender and not overly breaded. The quality of the food and service are just great. All sorts of folks come here so you don't have to dress up or you can. There is outdoor seating as well.

My only experience at Ash has been the Coquito breakfast/brunch cafe that is open from 8am-noon, and from this experience alone I'm a huge fan. A friend and I took our little ones here and had a great brunch date in the middle of the week. The coquito latte was great, the food was great - and the staff was super friendly and it was a nice space to catch up. Just saw that the Coquito pop up would be leaving Ash soon and we're sad to see it go!

Did the chefs table experience and it was 10/10!! Chef Seth was amazing and it was so interesting to learn about each dish. The market crudo was a favorite, as well as the caviar!

I absolutely love this place. They have a happy hour from 5-7 at the bar or the outdoor seating and most of the happy hour items range from $8-$12. The limoncello spritz is amazing. Their oysters are some of the best I've ever had. The decor inside is very stylish and cute. And the service is fantastic! Their regular dinner menu is also very good. A Tampa gem!

Sooo Ash was the perfect choice for my birthday dinner! The restaurant is absolutely adorable with its pink color scheme, which gives it such a great date-night vibe. Our waiter (I sadly forgot his name ) was wonderful and helped us navigate the menu, which is on the smaller side but clearly means everything is thoughtfully and carefully crafted. The chef even sent out a starter bread with some kind of cheesy goodness, and wow... so good. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. If you haven't been yet, this is a perfect spot for a date night or a special occasion dinner. What we ordered: Crispy Artichoke: Delicious Chicken Cutlet: Fancy fried chicken and sooo good Tonnarelli: Flavorful

We went for a Valentine's Dinner and ordered off their special menu. Great service, cute decor and the food was good but small in portions. This is a really small restaurant so making reservations is a good idea.

Delicious food, great service, tasty cocktails! You can't go wrong with the chicken cutlet or the pistachio pasta!

Great food. Great happy hour. Love the vibes. Found it just a few months ago and it's already in the regular rotation of spots in the friend group now.

My wife and I go to a lot of restaurants, but Ash? This place knows what it's doing. Our server Lily was fantastic. We both ordered espresso martinis. I decided to switch things up with bourbon while my wife went with the traditional vodka. Both drinks were perfectly balanced and honestly set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. The crispy artichokes had me questioning why I don't eat more vegetables. Perfectly crunchy outside, tender inside - they've basically solved the artichoke puzzle. The beef tartare was simple and fresh. Then comes this focaccia, still warm from the oven, making everyone at nearby tables jealous. The red snapper was so fresh it probably didn't even know it was dinner yet, and the strozzapreti with wagyu beef cheeks? Pure genius on a plate. We finished with the marzipan sundae - macerated strawberries, amaretto cookies, and at this point I'm convinced they're just showing off their skills. But here's where it gets next level - they made my wife a congratulations card for her new job and had the entire staff sign it. I mean, who does that? It's the kind of thoughtful gesture that makes you realize you're not just eating at a restaurant, you're experiencing genuine hospitality. Bottom line is Ash delivers on every level. Great food, great service, and the kind of personal touches that turn a good dinner into an unforgettable night. What can I say except, "You're Welcome. "

I am not hard to please when it comes to food, being that I really do love it all. But my experience at Ash was something to rave about! The attention to detail, the staff and the food were out of this world and I highly recommend it. My friend & I went out for girls night and decided to treat ourselves to the tasting menu. We had such incredible food, some of the best tastes we've had yet in Tampa. The favorites were definitely the eggplant, chicken cutlet, and the sundae but when I say everything was 10/10, I mean it. Thank you to Ronnie, our incredible server, who made sure our experience was nothing but exquisite and knew our dessert order before we even told him! A refreshingly incredible dining experience.

This restaurant is quite extraordinary! From the amazing service, well curated drinks, and delicious food. It is also beautifully decorated and have great music playing. I'd recommend this to anyone! It's a great place for a romantic date or cute girls night out. Here are the items we got to enjoy: -Focaccia with whipped ricotta and herb oil -Caviar Bump -Mafalde pasta with lump crab, XO sauce, and preserved lemon -Organic Chicken with chanterelles, Marsala, and roasted grapes Dessert: Marzipan Sundae with macerated strawberry, amaretti cookie crunch, rosemary honey Each item had their own burst of flavors! Everything was very tasty and unique. I definitely will be going back!

It's got that all-around fun, energetic atmosphere that makes it a solid choice for drinks. Not sure how it is during the week, but it would make for a fun date night spot to grab some cocktails. That said, I had a real hang-up the last time I went with my girlfriend around Christmas. They tried to hit us with a $10 cover just to get in, on top of $15-20 cocktails. I don't mind paying for a nice spot, but the cover felt absurd, especially since it wasn't even busy. The bouncer said we could make a reservation to avoid it, so I did...and then he made us stand outside forever before letting us in. At that point, we should've just left, but since my friend had never been, we stuck it out to try the themed Christmas cocktails. Once inside, there was a two-drink minimum per person, which is kind of crazy. It feels like they jip you either way...cover or no cover, minimum spend or not. While waiting outside (for no real reason, since it was empty), we chatted with a party of six who came straight from Ash (the sister restaurant upstairs). They'd just spent over $1,000 on their meal and were still getting charged a cover to enter Alter Ego. That's poor business, don't force extra fees to guarantee money when good music, drinks, and vibes should bring people in naturally and make them want to spend. There's plenty of places on Water Street with great (and I'd say better) cocktails where you're not forced into minimums or covers. The Christmas cocktail menu was disappointing too, poor selections and way too sugary. Love the potential here, but the strict policies really turned me off and made me want to go elsewhere next time.

The ambiance was nice. A lot of eclectic paintings on the walls. And loved the outfits of the servers. Very 20's speakeasy. There is a live jazz band that started performing at 7 pm. They were good but at some points it was a bit difficult to speak and listen to those at your table unless you got really close. My meal hit the spot. We started with a charcuterie board for the table. It had a lot of great options like dried apricots, actual honeycomb pieces, and my most favorite cheese, some Brie cheese. The only thing was there was only 4 pieces of bread, one for each of us, which wasn't enough but I guess it made sense not to fill us up too much. For my main meal I had the sweet potato salad which was very tasty and the sweet potato risotto, which a little spicy kick. The only thing I missed was the Brussels sprouts and potatoes but was told that was from the previous chef. But they serve you enough so you definitely will have left overs. Not a big fan of eating in the lounge areas, those are best just for drinks and maybe desserts. But it's definitely a great place to people watch. The restaurant looks small when you enter, but in addition to the front dining area and bar, it has two additional dining areas, as you walk towards the back, and another bar. If you find yourself in the Channelside area, you should definitely try out Small Giant.
