If you are looking for an honest, friendly and professional service that comes to your door, look no further! I had no idea how to repair my bicycle and my car was too small to carry the bike to a repair shop. When I called the number on a Saturday around noon, Rob asked a few questions about the condition of my bike. He was very friendly and wasn't intimidating to talk to at all even for a bike newbie like me. I appreciated that a lot! He said he could come by my place in Ashburn around 1.5 hours after the call. Rob came right on time with his trusty van full of cool looking bicycle gadgets. It was like looking into a Santa's workshop except with all different sorts of bicycle repair kits and tools (no elves were visible to the naked eye). He even let me watch the repair process - the inner tube of the rear wheel was punctured - and walked through the repair steps with me. Needless to say I was very impressed with his knowledge and he gave me helpful bicycle maintenance tips as well. The payment was what I had expected - very fair and honest. The service was worth at least double of what I paid! I would recommend him to ANYONE in Loudoun County. The website says they service other counties as well so you should definitely check it out. HONEST and reliable! I am in town temporarily and brought my road bike with me. I have a regular mobile mechanic back home and needed someone to tune it up. I found Ashburn Bike Repair (mobile) which sounded promising. He came right to my location and was finished in an hour, full tune up, chain replacement and very reasonable prices. Eventually, I required additional service and thought I needed my wheels trued. Rob said they were fine and didn't require anything. There is also a Yelp discount of $20 if you check into this business. It took about a week since I wasn't in any hurry to ride for my bike to be serviced. It was making all kinds of noises and doing some ghost shifting. When I picked up my bike, the man explained to me what was done. I rode it outside the shop to feel the difference. My bike felt a lot smoother and the noise was gone. This shop works on all kinds of bikes and I absolutely recommend coming here.

My experience there had been relatively positive over the past 7-8 years, but at this point I wouldn't trust them even with a basic service. I initially had a minor back-and-forth with their staff regarding incorrect charges on my receipt. While they did eventually issue a refund, I had to return shortly after for a follow-up service because the tubeless setup wasn't done correctly the first time. To make matters worse, I am reasonably certain my bike was intentionally damaged while in their care during that second visit, likely by a staff member in retaliation. Unsurprisingly, the owner has denied any wrongdoing and refused to accept any responsibility or accountability for the damage. I have been going to Haymarket Bicycles purely for convenience as they are located right down the street from me, but proximity is no longer a factor. For riders looking for trustworthy alternatives, I highly recommend Danny at Bull Run Bicycles or Chris at Blue Ridge Cyclery, both of whom have provided excellent, reliable service in the past.
