If I could give it zero stars I would. Let me tell you this is the worst buffet I've ever been to my life probably the worst restaurant as well. I should've known from the smell as we walked into the restaurant. It had this incredible pungent odor of stink. However Everything looked aesthetically pleasing on the buffet line and we were hungry as well. So at that that point we were just like we were "so let's try it" Yeah always with your gut which should have been a hell to the no. I am so disappointed with this buffet first of all the price you pay is not cheap. It's like $28 a person so you're thinking you're probably going to get good fresh food. Hopefully you're not even thinking you're gonna get bad food but what do you get you get bad food. Everything tasted off, there was so much abundance of fresh seafood, but everything was either overcooked or spoiled tasting and made you sort of cringe a lot of it was mayonnaise based and really creamy. The meat was overcooked or really chewy and devoid of flavor and seasoning. I just don't know what to say at this point it's it's a total minus minus -0 the only thing worth it was Maybe the Jell-O and who gets Jell-O at a buffet anyway? I felt bad for the ladies clearing cause obviously they did not want to be there. They would look at your used plate, pass by your table and just walk away from it even though you were finished with your plate. And they wouldn't come by and ask, would you like a refill of your drinks? They would just sit and gossip until management gave them a look that they had to come clean the table. I mean the whole place is a nightmare if you asked me, but I what don't understand how there's a crowd of people there and if you have a food pallet even a normal pallet I'm not talking about a sophisticated pallet just a "I want to eat something tasty" pallet of you like good food. Why would you go there? Why would people return because it seems like there were some return customers there? It seemed like they knew they had been there before. Like the staff knew them and like oh yeah nice to see you again back again honestly with the rise of inflation like every second there are so many food choices, and food options to go to and price wise absolutely not so please if you're thinking about going out going out to our restaurant going out to buffet just bypass this one. I'm sorry to have to give it such a harsh review, but it deserves what it Gets plus, the fact we spent the whole next morning in the toilet yeah just not a good scene at all my advice to Asia buffet please just get some better quality food that you can present that tastes good not only looks good but taste good as well thank you. read more

We like the options and they always bring out the food quick! We enjoyed the parking because it can get really packed with the gym. The service is good, and the ambiance is nice inside. They have since remolded the building and have done a good job! They have lots of choice of food to pick from, different combinations, and not just Asian cuisine, there are steak, fried chicken, french fries, it's all really up to you on what you feel like eating! Their food is very fresh and high quality, with hundreds of varieties to choose. So, very often, when we have family gatherings, friends visit, for a big group gathering, we always come here. We were really craving a Chinese Buffet after sadly, Kobe had closed down. Much tears shed for the lost Kobe Buffet :,( The location is definitely a lot smaller than Kobe however I felt the quality of the food was much better here! Definitely don't try any of the sushi or sashimi here, as they looked like they were sitting out for days and were getting super sweaty. I've had food poisoning too many times from Chinese buffets to want to ever risk sweaty sushi again! The food here is also super super salty and I guess that helps make the guests full faster. I would recommend just getting a ton of crab and washing all your food first before you eat it! You'll definitely thank me because a normal meal here would be 10x the normal salt intake for any individual. Went with a group of lunch friends. We had our own private room so it wasn't too noisy. Service was good and timely. As for the food. It is your typical Chinese buffet with dozens of choices of everything from ribs to fish to veggies and dessert, etc., all for a fixed price which is a reasonable amount and we got a 15% discount on top because we were a large group. As noted the quantity of food is huge but unfortunately the quality is mediocre at best and because it is all you can eat, you eat too, too much in spite of the minimal edibility. They do charge extra, as expected, for drinks - coffee, tea, etc. I do not recommend this place unless you are low on cash and otherwise starving. read more

Revisited this buffet yesterday for the first time pre-pandemic - about 2 and a half years between visits! I am an absolute buffet lover. I'm happy to say, this buffet is not bad. They still have some quality dishes such as coconut shrimp, salmon sashimi, two kinds of fish, their amazing chicken skewers. Just a ton of Chinese food! The egg drop soup and clear seafood soup were both fantastic, too. They have a good variety of fresh fruits, an ice cream machine. Enough to satisfy healthy eaters, carnivores and the kids alike! I see three stars as their rating, as far as service goes it should be half a star. Because we were there today, I work for a company that helps adults with disabilities. Sometimes when we go to restaurants some students buy lunch others bring their own. One of our students was celebrating her birthday and this restaurant is where she decided to go. Right from the start the waitress was not smiling and had a very serious look on her face, we sat dow and ordered our drinks and four buffets, there were 9 of us all together. We go out to restaurants all the time and never have i experienced such rude, non- welcoming service. The waitress watched us like hawks the entire time we were there. So the manager comes up to us and says she has to put a $23 charge on us because we are using their space and not enough of us we're eating the buffet. The buffet is $21 plus drink, unfortunately not all of our students can afford that. I think that was excessive and unnecessary. We try to give all the students equal opportunities and sitting around the table a socializing with their peers is exactly what they enjoy doing like anyone else. It was not very busy and we were not loud or rude to them. I'm not going back to a restaurant that treats people this way. read more

Great customer service. Huge amount of choices from vegetarian, meats, sushi, seafood, Asian dishes and desserts. Total cost for 2 was $29.99 per person. DON'T GO!!! This place has gone down hill. It use to be a clean place to eat but it's filthy. For $25 per person, you'd think they could afford to clean the carpets and windows. Amazing! There is literally so much food here, different combinations, and not just Asian cuisine, there are steak, fried chicken, french fries, it's all really delicious. The buffet is about $25 a person though, that's the only thing I would say keep me back coming every other week or so... Their seafood (HOT snow crab legs with a huge bowl of melted butter, clams, mackerel, fried crab, & etc). Salad section (build your own or their own seafood salad or cucumber salad). Desserts like JELLO (LOL), napoleons, coffee cake, tiramisu, tapioca pudding, soft serve ice cream & the typical. My favorites are the cream cheese wonton, their sushi rolls are actually good, the fried banana, & the sticky rice balls with red bean filling. The rest are alright. I overall really enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and nice, the staff was very warm and helpful. The food was mostly good but there were a few sketchy items. My favorite things were the garlic toast, egg drop soup, dumplings and salad bar. They have a great selection of sushi and a very good variety of desserts. Asia Buffet is one of our favorite places to go to. They have a lot of different options for everyone whether it's for kids, meat lovers, vegetarians, etc. I personally loveee their sushi bar. Ofc it's not going to be as amazing as actual sushi restaurants but it is pretty dang good with a variety of options! The staff is always very nice and attentive with water/drink refills. And the vibe is just very calm and relaxing in there. The music is always playing softly enough to have conversations but also enough to listen to it. There are not a lot of Asian buffets in South county, so I am reviewing this one based on the lack of choice down here. If you're going to try to compare this place to some of the spectacular Asian buffets in Central and North county, then there is no comparison. One thing to be aware of and this is an unlock against the restaurant . You're going to give a lot of folks in there who don't have a lot of buffet line etiquette. Meaning they will be eating food while they're in line getting their meal. Grabbing their food off the plate and shoving it in their mouth, licking their fingers and then grabbing the utensils, so then make sure you bring your hand sanitizer. Then you have the mouth breathers who don't know what they're doing and just clog up the aisle.
