I've ordered delivery from this place 4 times now and gotten Sushi each time. I like the idea of getting Sushi delivered in Fall River and was even more delighted when I actually tasted it. Have tried a few of the mixed sushi/shashimi meals as well as a few different maki rolls and it's all been very good. Delivery times are very long so keep that in mind when ordering. It took about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, then thirty minutes later we had our drinks. Ridiculous. I come here quite often, the food is consistently pretty good, Id like it if their general tsos chicken was a little spicier, but the service here is appalling!!!! They almost always have only one server, and one time a bar tender was running around taking orders. You might want to think of staffing some more servers!!! Great Chinese food and sushi, great atmosphere, great bar and hostess staff and really bad wait staff. They seem to have no prior experience in waiting tables. You'll get incredibly slow, forgetful and careless service even when it's really slow and they don't have much to do. Don't get me wrong, they're not rude. But I've been there maybe a dozen times and it always seems to be the case. But with everything else there being so solid you'll be well taken care of at the bar or getting take out. read more

The food is very good, way above the Fall River standard. Great quality food and it's amazing inside of there. I've ordered take out from here multiple times and I've only had a few problems never with the taste of the food or portion size. Usually when you order shrimp any where they play you and only give you a few pieces but they are pretty generous with the portions here. I always get something new and it's always pretty good. Sometimes there's a language barrier, I ordered shrimp pad Thai once and got shrimp tempura sushi, I still ate it cuz I like sushi too and it was delicious. Another time they sent me the wrong type of rice and called them and they fixed it no problem and sent me the right thing immediately . It sure won't stop me from calling back. Last time I called ahead and placed an order for pick up, after about 25 min I'll drove to pick up my order and I waited another 20 min for my order - plus there was no one in the resturant!! When I got to worked i noticed they messed up my order and forgot to give me the roll i ordered and gave me a completely different sushi roll.... I thought I'll let it slide.... picked up an order again a few days ago, and waited nearly 30 mins and when I opened my order - again forgot a salad - but gave an extra roll. They don't even deliver your food. I ordered dinner for my family, was charged, and received confirmation. Called over an hour later to check on delivery and they said the driver is late and will be there soon. Today was my first and last bad experience with this establishment. Today I ordered two orders the first was 2 California rolls and vegetable tempura. The second was a spicey trio a salmon roll a Philly roll and a tuna roll. Well this was followed by being given the wrong order . After I left with my food I was called to be told my food was incorrect to come back . So I went back switched out my order and was called again saying they where missing food now . So at this point I now have a hungry family with some of my food . So I drop them off so they can eat ( it was all my food missing anyway ) and off I went for my third trip to Asia one . I have eaten there, taken it to go and gotten deliveries. I can assure you that I am a very polite and easy going person and never disrespected anyone either times. Here are my experiences: Take Out: We did this 3 times and it was all okay, I had no complaints. Our order was correct, we didn't wait long and service was fine. That is where the 2 stars comes from... because every other time was terrible. Last time I called the woman argued with me over an egg roll... I'd probably called about 30 times prior to this and changed the rice that I wont eat and got an egg roll instead. Well, the attitude I got from whoever this girl was (Wednesday night I believe) was ridiculous. I was thinking maybe she was new, but needless to say I cancelled the order. They lost out on about $65.00 from all of us that night alone. Eat In: We ordered our drinks and waited 10 minutes for 1 of the 4 of us to get ours. After waiting 10 more minutes we asked where out drinks were. Told they were on their way... Nothing. Finally complain a second time and 1 more person got their drink... 2 out of 5 and its been 20 minutes. We ended up asking the bartender for our drinks... she said ok and never gave them to us. Finally, we started getting annoying and had to ask AGAIN and when I finally got my drink the others had already finished theirs and asked for another (that they never got) The food took forever and was all brought out separately so while everyone was almost done 1 person was just getting some of their food! No one checked on us and the people that were seated AFTER us got their food before us and their check. The portions were a FRACTION of what you get if you get take out too, but the same price. Never again. Delivery: They usually call and need directions, that's not a problem at all.. So when I get a call from a random number I assumed it was for that reason. Now, usually the delivery drivers look like they hate their job and never talk, never smile, and never really "deserve" the good tip we give.. but we always give it because they work for their money, even if they aren't friendly. Well anyways, its raining and my phone rings and I answer ready to give directions. Instead, the guy says our address and I say, "yes that's us, do you need directions?" and he says, "No, I'm outside your place." I apologize thinking he must be outside being rained on and I didn't hear the door and I rush to it.... He's in his car with a girl in the passenger seat looking at me and he says over the phone I'm right outside in the truck.... I'm not lazy, I'm not rude, but you can bring it to my front door... Today was the second time I experience Asia One and I was equally disappointed both times. I placed a delivery order, I was told it would take one hour for delivery; this was correct and delivery person was extremely friendly. Unfortunately the food was horrible. The sushi did not taste well, all the items in the pu pu plater tasted bad. My daughter stated "this is the worst egg roll I have ever eaten. The shrimp fried rice was tasteless and lacked substance. The service is sooo awful every time. I kept coming back because the food was good but no more. Sat at the bar. There were 4 other people in the whole restaurant. I ordered 2 sushi rolls and my girl ordered hibachi. Took an hour and a half for us to get our food. Bartender forgot to put our order in. As the night went on it become more and more clear that she was under the influence of something. She gave me the wrong beer, never brought the salad that came with the meal. Watched her try to make a mixed drink. She tried fitting 2 cups that were the same size into each other as a shaker. Watched this go on for about 2 mins before she figured out what was wrong. 3 parties walked out while I was there because the service was so bad. I should have done the same. The hibachi was ice cold. Bartender said "I just watched them take it off." No, you forgot about it cause you were high. I said I was not paying for it but they still charged me. Ordered for delivery the other night. I am always wary when an Asian Restaurant tries to serve to many different types of food. Meaning Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. My first impression was the guy on the phone was very rude. I understand being busy, but not even giving the customer time to speak is ridiculous. I had a few specific requests, and all he wanted to do was get off the phone. If he had taken the time to listen, he wouldn't have needed to call me back with questions. The food was alright. This place had terrible service. It took over an hour to get my food. And then they forgot my rice. And I called and had to argue with them before they decided to send me it. Tried this place out and was satisfied with the Chinese food ( tried a combo plate of rice, boneless ribs, chicken fingers & beef teriyaki). Although Sushi not my favorite, not bad here ( tried tuna roll, spicy crab). Service is okay (sat at bar) and if you're going to drink, do it at night when the barkeep has a working knowledge of how to make drinks (barkeep had to look at a sheet of paper to make a martini). We go here at least once a week. The food is AMAZING. The one waitress we always get is great. Very very affordable. The atmosphere is great, it is a very trendy and clean restaurant. I could have given 3 stars but a couple things bumped it down for us...decor is very nice and the staff seem all friendly, young girls at bar and hostess station, very chinese serving lady, super nice but really hard to understand (why have the worst communicator taking orders?), the sushi chef seemed schooled and he was Japanese, and lots of red color and leather decor. Had a moment with the floors, very slippery, and the booths by the window up on a raised ledge are an accident waiting to happen, but I digress. Like I said, not awful, but nothing to write home about either. The flavor just wasn't there. Very large and varied menu, but the fried rice was bland and had hard pieces in it, and both entrees were kind of cool, as if they'd been sitting back there, and my mango chicken, ALL mango, unbelievable but could have been two who mangoes cut up in there! Very small amount of actual chicken and it should have been not only temperature-wise hot, but spicy hot. Not so much. I am never able to finish a meal and I was able to eat all the chicken in this dish. The drink was well mixed and tasty, but could have had a tad more alcohol in it. The real problem was the music...techno? Come on, it's 5:30-6:00 on a weeknight, put on some relaxing low-key stuff to eat by, not heart thumping techno. I can see this turning into a nightclub scene that attracts the young crowd, which is going to equal trouble. Really should have kept to the foodie crowd. We tried it and I really wanted to like it, but we probably won't be back unless possibly for lunch chow mein (who can mess up chow mein)? I'm afraid we'll find out but hoping not. This restaurant should be good. If the food actually met the decor of the place we would have something to talk about. Unfortunately, it's just aesthetically pleasing. The service is awful as the waitstaff makes for a confusing experience since they cannot speak much English. This caused them to initially give me the wrong dish (seseme chicken w. no seseme seeds) instead of the General Tso chicken, which was brought to my attention after a few bites of the chicken that really tasted like General Tso. Interesting. Once everything had been sorted out, my meal wasn't much better than any of the asian fushion delivery places in the area. They do offer sushi, which is a unique treat or so you would think before you order it and realize that it tastes similar to the subpar stuff you can get at the grocery market. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, and again, got my friend's salmon roll by mistake. This restaurant has been my go to for a long time for Chinese and Sushi... however, last nights service completely changed my thoughts for this place..it was New Year's Eve, so completely understand it's going to be busy..I made my online order at 4:30 and called soon after to see what time my food should be ready.. the girl on the phone said 30 mins.. awesome!! So I wanted that long and then went in, it wasn't ready.. but I paid and I waited with the sea of humanity in the lobby. She said 10 mins. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited.... I waited in that lobby for over an hour and still nothing.. really?????? I wasn't the only person that was having this issue... the girls at the desk were telling everyone 30 mins... so what what that all about???? I went home and waited another half an hour and went back, and do you think that my food was ready.... nope.. she told me another 10-15 mins.. I said that 10-15 mins ago was about two hours ago!!!! "Yea, everyone is waiting" no kidding cause you girls can't time anything appropriately!!!! People were asking for refunds, angry and no one cared.. horrible customer service, girls at the desk were laughing cause they thought they had nothing to do with it, I feel bad for the poor kitchen people... never again.. it ruined my guests time at our house.. This is my second review and first warning about fraud regarding Asia One. The story is long but let's say this; first call Friday at 8:30 pm told delivery was 45 minutes to an hour. At 10:30 pm my ordered did not arrive. I phoned 27 times total. I was hung up on. I was mocked. I still didn't have my food. The person answering the phone was the owners daughter. She offered me a discount on a future purchase. I refused. I asked for my card to be credited. She refused. See where this is headed. When the food arrived at 11:15 pm, I signed the slip stating I refused the charges and would be by to pick up my credit back to my card. I called ahead on Saturday to insure the credit would be waiting upon my arrival. The owner, Cindy, requires a translator. I was told my concerns would be related and a call returned with her answer. I received a call, noting I would receive 30% off a future purchase. No. I did not sign the receipt, I rejected the order. I inquired about them submitting my charge as it would be fraud. I never signed the receipt. I was told my concern needs to be translated a second time with this new information. I would be called back. Four hours with no call back, I called again to be told I would be called back regarding this issue. The call was received and I was told to go through my credit card company and file a fraud claim against them. Seriously. This is business in America in 2016. Shoddy service. Terrible customer care. And when it blows up? Well? One of the young ladies who isn't related, and answers the phone, shared my concern and expressed she wouldn't eat at this establishment as the quality has plummeted. Please consider giving another local your money. Someone who appreciates their customers, who works hard and has integrity. Why are we rewarding this???! Their choices are ours. I've been here twice so far. The first time we (my boyfriend and I) sat on the table side. I ordered sushi rolls and sashimi (specifically smoked salmon). My boyfriend had ordered some Chinese faire, don't remember what exactly. The smoked salmon tasted like a rubber boot and the sushi tasted like grocery store pre packaged sushi. No thank you. Last night we tried it again. This time we sat on the bar side. Terrible decision. There were 3-4 people behind the bar which seemed a bit excessive. It also seemed that 80% of the patrons were their friends, which they chatted with 90% of the time we were there. We ordered scallion pancakes as an appetizer and it came out AFTER our meal. It was mostly pancake and barely any scallion. I ordered the general tsaos tofu which was mediocre at best. Everyone behind the bar was our server at one point which became confusing and obnoxious. I'd like to try and enjoy my meal rather than respond to "are you guys all set?" 3 times within a 60 second interval. Finally the last time we were asked that we told the server we were all set for our bill. Fifteen minutes later another server finally gave us our bill. No thanks. Never again. Okay so this place is awesome!!!!! The bartender, Gee, makes the best non-dairy and caffeine free drinks with the freshest of ingredients, most of which are handcrafted on his own with organic fair trade products. Not to mention, he has a menu of craft drinks every week. The sushi is fresh and delicious with great rolls and the best specials weekly. The menu has a great variety of Japanese and Chinese meals. My family and I wanted Sushi tonight, but didn't feel like traveling too far to get it. We opted to try this new restaurant in our neighborhood. WOW! We were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding and plenty of it. The place is very pretty and clean. Our waitress Kayla was awesome, friendly and accommodating!
