The bartender, Gee, makes the best non-dairy and caffeine free drinks with the freshest of ingredients, most of which are handcrafted on his own with organic fair trade products. Not to mention, he has a menu of craft drinks every week. The sushi is fresh and delicious with great rolls and the best specials weekly. The menu has a great variety of Japanese and Chinese meals. My family and I wanted Sushi tonight, but didn't feel like traveling too far to get it. We opted to try this new restaurant in our neighborhood. WOW! We were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding and plenty of it. The place is very pretty and clean. Our waitress Kayla was awesome, friendly and accommodating! They don't take allergies serious enough. I notified the server of a shellfish allergy, and after sushi my throat started closing up. I understand the issues with cross contamination and I've been eating sushi for at least a decade. Literally had to run to the host stand, pay my check because the server never checked up on us and grab a Benadryl from the gas station next door. Don't go if you have any food allergies. read more

BEWARE! Watch your credit slips if you get a delivery order! On 3 occasions last year, I noticed after going through my bank account transactions that the tip amount was increased. Sure enough, found out the driver was adding $2-$3 per time I was getting a delivery order. Mind you, I had already left a generous tip! After tipping $5, at one point they added an extra $4. After countless calls to management, which you can never identify who the manager there is, I got a credit. I so much wanted to like this place since there is not much "dine in" Chinese Restaurant experiences in Fall River. It would be less than a single "star" but I'm not sure how to provide a 1/2 star. I ordered a "udon" Asian/Japanese soup and the "house" fried rice. The "udon" was plentiful but awful. I took most of it home and disposed of it. The Fried Rice was cold and had to be sent back and cancelled as it smelled foul! My dining partner ordered the basic chicken tenders, fried rice and chow mein combo and indicated it was the worse he ever had. I tried the very "soggy" chow mein that had black beans-like substance mixed in which provided no additional flavor. Using nearly a whole bottle of soy sauce could not make palatable this extremely bad experience! read more

"Asia One" Has a Very Nice Cozy Red Asian-Themed Decor. Nice place to Bring Family, Friend's or Dates, because It Look's Somewhat "Classier" Than Most Other Fall River Restaurants today. The "Ambience" Is Good, Lowly Lit & Casual. And It Has A Large Sushi-Bar & Big Screen Tv's as well. As far as the Food Is Concerned, It's Pretty Good to Average At Most. Good variety of different types of Asian Fare. Although I think their Fried Rice Could Taste & Look Better (It's a little too Generic-Light Brown and Lacks Authentic Chinese Flavor) and Their Chow Mein Sauce has Bits of Black "Things"( Either Burnt Pan Scrapings Or Charred ??) ..And Lacks Pork & Good Flavor. The Egg Rolls Are Ok, But way too Thin & Small with not enough Shrimp or pork & Has too Much Cabbage-Filler in them! I like their Won ton Soup, Although It Could Taste Much Better. Other Dishes Are Average At Most, Nothing "Amazing" to Brag About though. Service For Take-Out Is Pretty Good, If It's Not to Busy. ( I Advise You Call Ahead to Order, for Faster Pick-Up). We order once a week from here and never make a big deal about them always messing up orders and having bad customer service but last night we ordered and when I went to pick it up they gave me the wrong order. I was 30 mins away when i noticed so I called just to let them know which order I had since I figured they were looking for it by then but I wasn't driving back at that point to swap orders. The girl with black hair and glasses who always messes up then got defensive and told me I couldn't keep the order because it cost more than what we ordered and I could hear her also yelling back and forth with her boss who was mad at her for messing up in the first place. She said they had to come pick up the wrong food because the person it was for was waiting for it, like who gives someone food that already went home with someone else? I didn't even call to get them to do anything for me I was being nice and letting them know about the mixup and they were ridiculous about it. Worst service and dining experience I've ever had in my life. Went on a Tuesday night and it was dead with maybe 5 other parties in the restaurant. Had to wait 10 minutes for a waitress to even come by the table and take our drink order. The bartender sat there on her phone instead of making our drink until the other bartender had to ask if we were waiting for a scorpion bowl. After another 15 minutes our food came out before we even got our drink. The food was ok and the scorpion bowl was too until we found a fly in the middle of it. The waitress was not apologetic about the timing of our order or that a bug was in our drink. Needless to say, won't be going back. read more

Hands down Asia one is the worst sushi restaurant I've been to. I've given them multiple attempts. Once i was ignored, after being seated, for nearly half an hour and eventually left because no wait staff would even take a drink order despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Serve staff gets drink and food orders wrong regularly. And most recently their own website pricing doesn't reflect what they're really charging, spoke to a manager who couldn't have cared less about the falsity of his advertised prices vs. the actual prices. A difference of $13 mind you. There are far better places within a 15 minute drive. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. read more

I ordered food and waited 1hr for them to deliver the food to my work place. I paid for the order(which the prices went up BIGTIME) to find out the order was half filled and nothing was correct. The Asia One worker went over the order before I hung up the phone, so I don't understand how if was not correct. When I called them back to let them know it wasn't correct they were suppose to send the correct order as soon as possible. After 3 phone calls and 2 hrs later I received the order which was cold and did not taste good. This restaurant has lost business with myself and my fellow co-workers. Ordered a pretty simple delivery order, when it was delivered 45 mins later it was ENTIRELY the wrong order. I called to get it straightened out, not only did they want the wrong items returned (which I'm pretty sure is illegal in mass) when it got here it was only half right AND the driver tried to collect payment again even though I had already paid 32.00 + tip and only gotten 2 soups and sushi (the wrong order). Ordered a D1, D3, lobster sauce and pan fried dumplings. The reason why this got 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the dumplings. The ribs and steak stick was extremely dry and not alot of flavor. Let me start by saying this is the first time I've ever written a review ever- good or bad. I've only ordered delivery from this place, last night was my fourth and last time. I ordered food around 8pm on a Sunday night and was told it would be 40-45 minutes. I waited an hour before I called to check my order and was told that it should be here any minute. 45 minutes later I called again hungry and annoyed and was told that the delivery guy had left a long time ago but instead of giving me money off this order or comp'ing me this meal I was told that I could get 25% off my next pick-up meal. First of all, the take-out menu offers the same deal as part of the "grand opening" so basically they weren't doing anything about the 2 hour wait for food on a Sunday night at 8pm. I ended up canceling my order and very unsatisfied I took to Facebook to voice my disappointment and frustration with the manager's lack of customer service skill/knowledge. My comment was deleted within minutes and I was blocked from making anymore comments on their page. As a social media consultant this is the worst business move you could make. This place has HORRIBLE customer service practices and will NEVER get any of my business again. As a side note, after the third time I ordered take-out I realized they charge you a $5 delivery charge which I was never informed about so I was tipping 15% on top of that charge FYI to those of you who wanted to deal with these idiots! Since I will be telling all of my friends and family to never order from them again, they lost a considerable amount of business all for a measley $40 order they were unwilling to discount or comp. I've had 3 experiences with this establishment. The first was in the actual building with a friend, where they got my friend's order wrong and denied it, and forgot a portion of my order. The second was a delivery and pretty fair. But this last experience? Nightmarish. I placed my order for delivery at 8:30 and wasn't given an estimate on arrival time. After an hour, I called back wondering about my food. They said it was already on its way. 30 minutes later, I called back, still waiting for my food. It showed up 10 minutes afterwards when my place is just 10 minutes from the restaurant. An hour and 40 minutes for 2 rolls of sushi and a miso soup. Even after all this, they tried to "compensate" me with a 20% discount on a $15 order. Yeah, no. Glad to know I won't be eating here ever again. read more

Service was better tonight. We sat at the bar. The food was excellent. Sushi and apps. Spider roll and Buddha rolls were amazing. Bar tenders were attentive and the timing of the apps and meal was better than usual. The people next to us had my fav revolution shrimp with scallops. It looked awesome. It has been quite some time since I have found a great place to have sushi but Asia One has great sushi! They menu has a great assortment of rolls! I have tried a few different options and have yet to find one I don't like. The staff is very friendly & the service is quick. I love watching the sushi being made at the bar. I have also had delivery service from them and couldn't believe they drove all the way out to my house! The Driver was very courteous also! One star because there's nothing less. We've tried this place a few times over the past few years and never much liked it but it was ok. Tried it tonight for takeout and it was beyond horrible. Food was awful, cold, and took over an hour. I called back to ask where the order was and was told they spoke with the driver and he was sitting outside of my house. I go outside and the delivery driver was horribly rude and unprofessional. He told me to "relax" when I was annoyed that I had to come outside to get my order while he sat in the car! Proceeded to tell me it wasn't his fault because he wasn't familiar with the area - I thought that was a prerequisite to being a delivery driver but guess I was wrong. By the way, there is a very large, well-lit sign with my house number on it that he ignored. I phoned the restaurant to complain about how rude the driver was. A few minutes later, the driver called me back (not to apologize) to tell me he was 26 and I "better not" call his employer and try to get him fired. I have never had worse service in my life. I placed an order for a Pu Pu Platter at 7:44pm. The woman who took my order told me that the delivery time would be 30-45 minutes. It was a Friday night so I thought that was a fair amount of time, More than an hour later my food had still not arrived. I called and they told me it was on it's way. 10 minutes later, when my food had still not arrived I called them again and asked if they would comp my food because of the 74 minutes delivery time. While I was on the phone with the restaurant I heard a loud banging on my window which was the delivery man who claimed he could not see the buzzers on the front of the house. The woman I spoke to said that they would offer me 25% off for my long wait so I told her that I would simply give the food back to the driver and my first time trying them would definitely be my last.
