One of my favorite take Asian take out place. I got bah mi with salmon and workout today. Normally I get shrimps bah mi but the salmon was so much better. It was too good I forgot to take pictures. Chicken workout was good too. I think chicken used to be cubed but this time it was sliced too thin. Still the flavor of chicken was good. The steak was cooked very well it was nice and tender l and the chicken reminded me of chicken pho. Loved the textures from all the veggies and jalapeños provided crunch and spice. Asian box has different locations this is the one at the Pruneyard. I like the deal that you get 4 boxes, 4 spring rolls and 4 cookies for around $56 with tax. Usually I order a signature one since it's my first time here. I didn't want to dine here because traffic will get heavy later on when trying to go back home. Hi! I really love the food at Asian Box and I recently tried their drinks as well. I wanted to get catering through Asian Box for Mother's day and thought this was a good way to have healthy, delicious food. I have called due to questions about the catering menu 6 times already within a 2 week period with a few days apart for followup or hoping to get someone on the phone to answer some questions about catering. I did see the QR code for the catering menu and that was what I wanted to ask about and delivery information as well. Noone has called me back. Not sure if the call didn't go through or they are really that busy. Each time I called so far, the voicemail says we are on another call and will get back to you or that noone is available to take the call. I also didn't see a seperate number for the catering, so I wanted to ask that question as well. I know Mother's day is coming up fast and a look businesses want you to order ahead of time to prepare, so either they got a huge inquiries of Mother's day catering or they just don't answer the phone. I decided to get the Mother's day catering some place else. I am in need of preparing to host this special event for my parents and extended family. They serve a variety of Asian entrees, not just sticking to one specific type (Vietnamese, Thai, etc), but because of that, it's not going to be the same quality you'd get at a specifically Thai restaurant or Vietnamese restaurant. I did feel like the meal was clean though and I still felt great after eating it even if there was such a large portion. ZERO STARS. NEGATIVE STARS. My student with special needs asked multiple times for no peanuts. He was served peanuts and had a severe allergic reaction. Needed Benadryl and eventually needed an EpiPen and went to the ER. I went back to the restaurant to inform them. Their response was "oh sorry, she's new". I don't care if you're new or have been in the food service industry for years, there are protocols and "food handling trainings" required to work in a restaurant. I want all to know that if you have any allergies, this restaurant will not take them into consideration. DO NOT GO HERE.
