I absolutely love this place. I work downtown and usually order this for work lunch 1-2 times per month. It comes quickly and they deliver. The guy is usually so nice and if you have a big order they throw in some soda for free. This food is good for your soul. I love the sushi rolls, miso soup, egg drop soup, and bento boxes!

such a cute place! service was great, very friendly. steak was sooo yummy. the chicken had kind of a weird texture but tasted good. i got the avocado mango sushi (which didn't have meat in it thought that was weird) and spicy tuna sushi. tasted good but the sushi was a little thicker than i'd like. overall 6/10.

Stopped in while on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised finding quality sushi in Indiana. The sukura roll was unique and the hot and sour soup was tasty. My only minor criticism is that the sushi roll kind of fell apart and I needed to use a fork to pick it up, but the flavor was on-point. Will stop in again, next time I'm in town.

We went on Christmas Day and the service and food couldn't have been better! The portion was huge so I ate leftovers twice.

    Vegetable Sushi Platter

(Review by my 13 year old) What's up skinny biggies, it's your local sigma here reviewing Asian Harbor. It was a small, quiet place that had a very lowk vibe all around. The service was speedy, and the portions were pretty ding dang darn good! I had the Orange Chicken Bento, and it was honestly too much for my big back. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and overall everything seemed pretty skibidi. We also got the veggie sushi platter and we appreciated how many vegetarian options there were. But anyways, the veggie sushi platter was good, but the best part was the rolls and we would've MUCH rather had more of the rolls than the other sushi's on the platter. So overall, it's a nice place with a ton of options for the whole fam, and I would definitely recommend. With that, I may award this restaurant with the official Stamp Of Skibidi!!! Congrats sigma alpha! FEIN FEIN FEIN!

I have been on the hunt for good Chinese takeout downtown as my partner lives there and I visit frequently. We ordered through Asian Harbor on a Friday night, surprised to see it delivered so quickly and still hot. The size of the menu is enormous, which I should have understood meant trouble. My partner and I both opted for chicken dishes: sesame for myself, General Tso's for him. The dishes were quite literally the exact same, except for the fact that mine had a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The sauce was more appropriate for orange chicken or sweet and sour chicken than either of the dishes we actually ordered. My pork fried rice was so dry it was almost inedible. They also could have been more generous with the rice; I've seen most takeout places provide oyster pails full of rice, but here it just came in a cup. The size of the entree was generous, but it didn't make up for the lack of differentiation between dishes. I was hoping this place would be "the one," but my quest for good Chinese takeout continues!

This is a great takeout spot! We haven't dined in, but they do have tables available. Our order was ready in 15 minutes and was hot and fresh when we picked up. The chicken fried rice is sooooo good! We also got chicken lo mein & it was good, but we liked the fried rice a lot better. The crab Rangoon is pretty standard -- but the filling was perfect super hot and creamy. The sushi was good for the price. It's a great deal for the portion sizes! We each made 3 meals out of this order.

Pleasantly surprised with todays take out from Asian Harbor. I've been here a few times and wanted to try something new. Their Chinese food is pretty decent (huge portions and great variety of bento boxes), the sushi specialty rolls are decadent but pricey. Today I got the yellow curry chicken! I was happy with it, I wish I was offered spice levels because I would have loved if it was just a kick more hot. I had originally ordered the red curry but after talking with the worker I found out the Yellow is much more popular and thus switched. It was a nicely sized portion of curry with veggies. My fortune cookies were very stale. One of them didn't have a fortune in it! Impressive how quickly the order was ready though -- only 15 minutes. My curry was very hot when I got it too, straight from the kitchen. Pretty good overall!

The food was pretty good. I have had much better Thai curry at Thai restaurants, though. But the fried rice, gyoza, crab rangoons, and sushi were all great. Quick service and friendly staff too. I will be back here for more!

Our server was quick and attentive, and the food didn't take very long to arrive. I went with drunken noodles with chicken - mildly spicy, but still very flavorful and cooked well. For dessert, we got mango lassi cake, which is something I have never tried before, but I do enjoy mango lassi drinks. The cake was very fresh and not too sweet - exactly how I prefer it. I would've liked mango to pop a little bit more, but it was still a great and unique cake. I probably wouldn't go with sushi at this place because $25 per roll is New York level price, unless it is cooked from very fresh ingredients to the highest standard. All in all, a great experience - definitely returning.

I happened to visit on a warmer day so I was able to see the space with the garage door open. It was golden hour and it had everything all lit up. Very beautiful. Our service was amazing, couldn't have asked for a better server. I can't remember her name but she was so detailed in her descriptions, thoughtful with her suggestions, and had the perfect amount of attentiveness. Now on to the fun parts.... Drinks were a hit! We told our server what we like and they recommended a couple options. I again can't remember the exact name of the drink but mine was a gin cocktail. I'll attach some photos for you. As for the food, every bite I took was delicious. Our table shared the fried brussel sprouts and the ginger miso salad. A very lovely way to ease into our meal on a lighter note. They split up the salad onto two plates for us, which was sweet of them. The portion was pretty good for a $12 salad. Very refreshing. Brussel sprouts were absolutely fire. Get them! Along with that, I also ordered the tempura shrimp maki roll. Inside the roll was cucumber and avocado with giant tempura shrimp right on top, drizzled in spicy mayo. The presentation was cool, a slightly deconstructed version of what I would get somewhere else. There wasn't a single bite left on the plate. I would order all three of these dishes again in a heartbeat. Perfect for a date night or special occasion, but also works for just grabbing a bite with friends. Whenever I find myself back in Indy, Modita will be on my list.

Starting off - I was really glad I snagged a reservation because when we arrived there was a line waiting for them to open. We were seated quickly, and our service was really efficient. The drinks were unique, but tasty. We ordered the crab puffs because that's my favorite at any Thai restaurant. They came out in under 5 minutes, and were piping hot. They were good! For my main I ordered the steak drunken noodles and they were so so so good. I couldn't finish it all because the portion was so large, but you better believe it was just as good cold later that night. I would definitely be back. My husband ordered the chili & basil pork and he cleaned his plate - so I'd say it was good. Because it's a popular spot, there is a time limit on your dining experience. If you're wanting to relax and hang out - probably not the spot. The food is SO good though, so I'd still grab dinner here, then head to a cocktail bar to hang out

We had a reservation and waited a little while after arriving, but once seated outside on the patio, we really enjoyed our dinner. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with our selections. We even ordered a platter from the special Epicurean Local Menu, which was a great addition to the meal. Unfortunately, the way the evening ended completely changed our impression of the experience. We had finished our meal, had already told our waiter that we did not want dessert, and were essentially ready to leave when a gentleman approached our table specifically to tell us that we had 15 minutes remaining. It was unnecessary and made us feel as though we were being pushed out when we weren't lingering or preventing the staff from turning the table. I mentioned this on my way out and was told that guests are informed they have 90 minutes to dine. We don't recall having that explained to us, but more importantly, I don't think that should be the defining experience at a restaurant positioning itself as a higher-quality dining destination. There are much more gracious ways to manage table timing, particularly when the guests have already finished their meal and indicated they aren't ordering anything else. We were also celebrating our daughter's birthday and specifically mentioned it to the host when we were seated. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment of her birthday during dinner, which was another missed opportunity to make the evening memorable. It's disappointing because the food, drinks, patio, and our waiter were all excellent. We were prepared to leave thinking we'd had a 5-star dinner. Instead, the final interaction made a wonderful evening feel transactional and turned what would have been a 5-star review into a 3-star experience. A restaurant can serve outstanding food, but the way guests are made to feel is part of the experience too.

We came in on a Friday night at 6:30 with no reservation, and had to wait ~5 minutes for a table of two. We were sat at a high top at the bar, which we appreciated. Our server greeted us quickly, and checked in a few times throughout the night. Service was average, nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. I had a hurricane to start off. Packed full of the good stuff, and one was definitely enough for the night. Appropriate price for what you get. This drink is what brought my review from a 2 for the food to a 3 in total. We started off with pork Bao buns. The bun was spongy, but somewhat dry. The pork lacked any sort of flavor, and the sauce on it didn't do much for me. The next part of the meal was the most disappointing for me: the curry chicken wings. Let me tell you- I was excited for these. These lacked any sort of flavor at all, and the only thing saving it was the ranch. The wings had a good crisp, but the sauce was lacking taste. I had the Shoyu ramen for my main. It was a pretty average bowl of ramen, but for the price, I expected more. The pork in it was flavorful, but the chicken in it was odd in my opinion with an unexpected herby flavor. Overall, service was average (but we appreciated getting sat fast), drinks were strong (and saved the meal) and the food was average. Would go if invited by a friend, but probably would not return on my own.
