Story/Issue: My refrigerator broke down last weekend and I didn't want to purchase a new one yet until I know for sure it's not usable. I did a yelp search online by opening a message to request a service and I did received very fast notice by 2 company. ASP Engineering was the first one to respond. The issue to my freezer was that it wasn't cold enough and my ice wouldn't come down. The Service: Vincent was the one that provided the service and he was friendly. He was wearing a mask and had his own shoe cover when coming into the house which was great hygiene. He first found the problem to my freezer not being cold enough. Technically there was ice build up behind the fan causing one of the fan to not be able to move. As for the ice, we had to wait to see if that was also the cause for the ice but apparently it didn't fix the problem. After a day of waiting for ice, nothing came out so I texted him and he responding immediately. I was working so I told him my schedule and he accommodated to my off days. He came and took a look at the fridge for the second time and he told me that it can be the fan where the ice is but just to be sure before we waste extra money, unload everything from the fridge and unplug the fridge for 24 hours. I did as I was told and turns out there is ice. Responsibility: Yes, he kept his responsibility and made sensible decision. At least I didn't have to spend another $150 for the fan. Also, the second appointment wasn't charge. Responsive: Yes, in seconds or minutes per texting or calling. On time upon arrival. Price: Reasonable. $59 for diagnostic. If it was fixable, the $59 is waived and the price will be charged upon what is fixed and/or labor. (Price subject to change, please verify for this) Pros: Saved money from buying a new fridge. Diagnostic was reasonable, it wasn't just based on taking advantage by charging extra cost or persuading to buy extra parts. Cons: N/A read more

I use my washing machine almost daily and when it failed to drain today, I checked the hose and filter before realizing it was something more complicated. I looked for an engineer on yelp, submitted the job and chose ASP (based on reviews). I was happy to be able to do all of this on my phone without having to actually call someone. They were quick and responsive and the engineer arrived when I requested. He diagnosed the fault almost immediately and set to work. I was happy with the work and the price, and especially happy that I was able to pay using the link that was sent to my phone (and leave a tip this way also).
