I went to this store to ask about my account. When I got there, the worker John was helping a lady with a difficult issue. After waiting for about 10 to 15 minutes, I asked him how much longer he thought he would be. He said probably 25 minutes. I told him I would pop next door and be back. He said ok. I was gone 10 minutes. When I got back, another customer was waiting. He was still with the same person he was with when I left. He finally finished with that customer. The big surprise came when he helped the lady who came in after me. His response was that I left the store and lost my place. In our conversation, he never told me that I would lose my place in line. If he had, I of course would not have left. Extremely disrespectful. Of course, I am an old white lady and he and the other two customers were hispanic. (Also, I might add, the other two customers were not wearing masks. It says right on the door that masks are required.) When I called ATT to complain, they asked me to get a phone number from him and he refused. They asked him to give another number and he refused. The ATT lady finally said to put him on loudspeaker. He first refused her, and then finally gave her the info. To make a long story short, ATT has lost a 45 year customer! read more

Not sure what's going on, but this store had doors shut 30-40min Before closing time (posted) drove a distance to beat closing time just so the staff inside can look at me and give zero F'ks. I originally came into this att store just to pay my bill and I left with a new phone, direct tv and digital life. Oh and with a big smile on my face I was greeted by Juan (he was the store manager on duty I believe) and he seemed like he knew his stuff. Very friendly guy! He then had one of the representatives help me and he also did a great job. I have been coming to this location for some time and I have always had a good experience. ACCT # 145519382 AT&T is trying to bill us for $137.86 for service from mid-October, through January 2016, and is threatening to send it to collection and report it to the credit bureaus, despite canceling out service mid-October when we moved to a location where AT&T couldn't provide the Uverse internet service we needed, and switched to Brighthouse (TimeWarner Cable) instead. There never was an installation done, or any service from AT&T at our new location, yet we continued to get bills for service despite me calling them 3x a month to complain and tell them our service was canceled and to stop sending bills. Every time I was assured the issue was resolved and there would be no more bills, yet we still continue to receive threats from AT&T. As this issue has not been resolved after talking to countless supervisors and employees who all claimed the issue was resolved, I am escalating this issue, and will be leaving complaints about this problem on all the major review sites. I was an AT&T customer for almost 8 years, and should not be treated this way. Disgraceful. If this gets reported to the credit bureaus, I will pursue legal action immediately. I do not want to receive one more piece of paper from AT&T about this issue. Although AT&T should provide compensation for the countless hours I have spent on hold and speaking to your employees trying to get this resolved, I will be satisfied if I do not receive anymore threats. If this is not remedied, I will have my lawyer pursue legal action for harassment. Update: 2/26/16 - I changed this from 1 to 2 starts because AT&T resolved the issue finally after I went through the BBB. A customer shouldn't have to go through the BBB or Yelp to get resolution. This wasn't a one-off situation either, as I spoke to 10+ people at the company who weren't able to fix a simple billing issue. Hopefully AT&T resolves the communication problems that resulted in this problem getting to this point. read more

The customer service at this location is FANTASTIC! Every time my husband and I have visited this store, we have been accommodated by knowledgable and kind people who have gone above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Today was no exception. After 3 years of failed attempts to have our voicemail restored, we had given up hope. Ironically, the purchasing of new phones didn't even solve the problem as the glitch was somehow attached to our service as well as our device. Needless to say, we spent countless hours on the phone with AT&T tech experts and dedicated weekends to seeking resolution at the Apple Genius Bar as well... to no avail... until this afternoon. To our surprise, TREVOR enthusiastically accepted the challenge and was able to solve the problem within a few minutes. That quickly, our 3 year nemesis was gone... in minutes. Whether you are purchasing products, revising your service plan, or seeking the technological impossible, I recommend taking your business to this store without reservation. This is Jose Dieguez: A few Months ago, i bought a used phone for my wife in LA. Then, here in Bakersfield, i was trying to activated this phone with AT&T, cause they told me that i can use it just with AT&T. Ruth Morales in AT&T told me that it is the truth, that i can use it with AT&T. So i told her that i will visit them again, in a month, when the prepaid service of the phone service finished. The actual service i have in that phone is Verizon. So, i returned to AT&T, and they begin to make the process to use my phone with AT&T, and transfer the same number of my old phone, to the phone i bought in LA. They process they payment throught my debit card, and personal information. Then, at night, i received a notification, from AT&T company. The problem, they said, is that they need additional information. so, i returned to AT&T, and they told me that they need more information about the other company service i had in the other phone. in this point i was tired. i already paid for the Service i dont have in my phone. so, i told it to Juan Cejas, the Manager of AT&T Store at Truxtun. He told me that he cant do nothing with this. And the only thing he can do for help me, is that i need to take another service with them, maybe internet wifi, and in the first service, he can make me a discount. I had internet wifi with AT&T, but i changed the service cause when i completed the year with them, they begin con make me pay more money for the service. now, i have Spectrum Internet. So, they didnt returned my money i paid for the phone Service. I paid for the Activation too!!!! They Stole my money, and they didnt called me again just to try to helped me. I am a Client, a Consumer. And this Company: AT&T, dont need this kind of Reputation. This is Why I will never ask again their Service. And I aware all the people to be carefull of this Company. Very disappointed in the service and quality of this AT&T store. A few days ago my iPhone fell into our pool. I went into the store with my phone and was met at the door by a rep who asked what they could do for me. I told the person that my phone fell into the pool, I had insurance, and I needed help. She took my name and asked me to please wait for he next rep. An hour and fifteen minutes later I was seen by a rep who asked me what happened. I told him the story...he looked me up and said that I did have insurance (which I had already said). He then said he could only give me the number to the insurance, and let me know that I'd have to call them. But before I left he asked me to give him my SIM card, because it belonged to att...and that I had to tell he insurance that I needed a new SIM card. 1. The first person I met when I walked in could have given me the insurance number. 2. Why did they need me old SIM card? 3. When my new phone came it did have a new SIM card. 4. I took it to go back to their store to get my phone to work, because I couldn't get it to back up on iCloud. 5. A new rep told me that I had to take it to apple in the mall. 6. The people at apple told me that if I had used my old SIM card (the one that the att guy took) I would have had no problems. What a crock!!! read more

Had a bad experience here today. When I walked into the door I was greeted by the door greeter, whom told me that i was next in line to be helped. I mostly hung around the smart watches fidgeting with them, as that is what i was interested in purchasing. I patiently waited 40 minutes to be helped, and it never came. All the while the door greeter stood around doing mostly nothing, while 2 other associates stood around doing whatever on tablets, not helping anyone, as the line continued to grow. I finally got aggravated to the point that I walked out, I wasted 40 minutes of my personal time. I wonder; does the management deem this ok?! read more

There were 8 names ahead of us. After waiting over an hour and watching 2-3 employees walking around and not helping customers - a young man told us someone would be with us shortly. I was very pleased with the service we received while in this establishment. I had a poor experience with AT&T in the past and those judgements stuck with me for years. My husband dragged me in this store (with our three children) and he asked me to promise to keep an open mind. They had an awesome kids area so we could focus of the cellular options rather than what are these rugrats getting into. Eduardo was awesome. He presented everything in a way we can understand and we really are getting out cheaper with more. Hundreds of dollars in credits. I have never written a Yelp review, but after my experience today, I find it necessary. I came in as a walk-in.. I only had to wait no longer than 10 minutes, I was helped by Chris. My experience was awesome! He helped me get a cellular plan set up, he was so fast! Super funny too. He also took the time after to chat with me about wifi & cable bundles through at&t, which I found out will be about $70 cheaper than what I'm paying now with brighthouse. I'm completely sold. Well today I went into the Att store to purchase my daughter her very first iPhone 6, I had a appointment for 4pm and I got there about 3:45, I was greeted by a energetic sales associate named, Jayda, my original appointment was with the main team leader by the name of Angie , but due to her position in the company , her associate Jayda handled my transaction, and took care of my every need, from setting up my daughters phone, answering every question my daughter had, I've always gone to Angie and have received the best customer service and now with Jayda as being part of our team she's a great addition , so I am giving Att 5 stars but if they gave 10 I would , anyways everyone go on down to and ask for either Jayda or Angie and they will take care of your every need. read more

I went in this last week for a new phone. They were super super busy. I waited about 10 minutes then was helped by Morgan. I can't say enough good things about Morgan! We were having the hardest time transferring all my info from my old phone and it didn't bother him a bit. I was so embarrassed because I was actually in there till 10:45 at night when they closed at 9. Morgan continued to assure me that all was fine and he just wanted to make sure I was all set with my new phone. I can't thank him enough! Went in for internet services at this location and was told we could be upgraded at no extra charge if we got a bundle and even after we purchased that bundle they never followed through on the upgrade. They also said they would waive the activation fee and that was not true as well they indeed charged us. This AT&T store has horrible service. My dad and I came in to return a phone accessory that claimed to fit the new phone that was released the next day. We walked in and the associate at the door said there would be 10 people before us. Why did we need to wait for a simple return transaction? We gave our name and number and they said they would contact us when 3 people were ahead of us. We went back home for 1 hr and 30 min and returned to the store to see why they didn't call us. Our name wasn't even on the list!!! The associate at the front apologized and said we would be next but we had to wait 20 minutes after. All of this for just a simple return!! read more

For the past 8 months I have been dealing with AT&T regarding getting a land line for my father at an assisted living facility. My father suffers from Dementia and Sundowners Syndrome. We purchased a phone where family and friends can call in. He can't dial out. Previously, he was calling family members looking for his imaginary wife all hours of the day and night. We started trying to get the phone installed into his room in August 2014. In October after two to three attempts the phone finally was installed. Billing has been a nightmare! You go into an AT&T Store and they don't know how to help you with a landline. They just referred us to the customer service phone number. When dealing with the customer service line and attempting to set up auto pay, they don't seem to get it right. Instead, the phone is shut off for non payment. All they would say was that the credit card expired. I have used the same credit card number for many years and with no problems in purchasing other items. It is a shame how AT&T treats its customers who are trying to help family members with Dementia. If there was another affordable option I would take it. I feel AT&T's attitude is take it or leave it. We are an active duty military family and I went to this store for an appointment (mid April 2018) to get new phones for myself and my spouse that was deployed at the time. They told me there was a deal going on - buy one iPhone X, get one free. A year later we are still paying for both phones and dealing with long calls to AT&T. Supposedly the buy one, get one deal was no longer valid when they offered it to us. They are scam artists or incompetent. Either way, I cannot wait to get back to Verizon after this. read more

The other day they called the cops on me I have been AT&T customer for over 17 years . Had the worst customer service experience ever last week at this store . Me and my wife purchased two new phones , upon finding out that my lg phone had a faulty screen I took it back two days later , the gentlemen wanted to charge me $45 re stocking fee , I asked to speak to a manager as I has spent a lot of money with them over the years and may be they could waive the fee , he said he was the manager on duty , so I said okay I will pay the fee "although it was a s..t phone " . He said he is refusing me service for swearing at him which I didn't . Then he got up and said he was calling the cops and going to the back to let his manager know . I thought he was the manager. This really startled me as I had my 3 year old daughter with me , as he walked towards the back I started video taping and went asked another young lady if she could call the manager . I waited there for another ten minutes and the manager lady came out . I asked her if she could help me just return the phone and she said know as I was swearing at her employee . I told her she wasn't there and I don't know what he told her in the back . But she would not help me . And then finally the cops showed up and I explained to them what happened and they agreed with me that they should help me and asked the manager to help me but she wouldn't so they couldn't force her to . They gave me both the employees names and asked me to call AT&T . This all happened In front of my little daughter and was terrible. Don't know what to say. I have most of this on video and will try to contact some one so that it doesn't happen to other people. read more
