Came in today to change my address and to get an Apple Watch line added to my bill and I have to say Corey was the greatest!!!! Let me tell you Ive worked in customer service for 10 years and i always try to give my best service to people and I truly appreciate when you get someone that returns the good service back this man deserves a raise I've been to this store before and this has yet to be the first time ever that I don't feel rushed or that I feel dumb because of the facial expressions the representative gives me I mean last time I went and I basically left because the girl seemed like she didn't want to help me so because of Corey I'm here leaving a 5 star review because he was the best customer service that I've ever had here. Very disappointing customer service at this location. To make a long story short I had set up a 11:30 appointment. I already knew what I wanted to buy, and this was already explained to the Representative. This was an easy sale for the Rep especially since I already did my research. I wasn't seen until 12:05 was not told sorry for the long wait, or thank you for waiting. Two other customers that came after me left before me, because of the lack of customer service and long wait. It was not busy at all. The Rep that set the appointment finally came from the back of the store to help me. There was brief discussion of how much it was going cost for the taxes & fees that took about 5 minutes. My pick was the iphone11 gold cell phone. The rep goes to get back of the store to get the phone, to only come back & to tell me I would have to wait an additional 15 minutes, for a vault in the back to open in order to get the golden colored phone that I wanted. The other options that were suggested from the rep were I can get the white cell phone, or come back later. I politely declined, and said no I will go to another store to make the purchase at a convenient time for me. This was a very easy sale, I don't understand how a store can mess that up. read more

I went their to get contract free individual monthly plan. I was the first customer for the day. The lady named Beverly helped me out sorting my quires and proceed with application. I took $50 monthly plan using my own phone. She handled whole process professionally. I was also offered a Bluetooth speaker worth $100+ by her manager. Cool deal ! My Samsung 7 Phone battery swelled up suddenly on 7/8 popping out the back of the case. I took my phone into my local retail store to have it looked at on 7/10. Since I paid for insurance, technically they were not able to handle the claim. Freddy assisted me in calling Asurian (Insurance carrier) and was absolutely wonderful. He was professional, kind, and patient. My claim was filed. I received my new phone on 7/12 and returned to the store. Diane was our assistant. She was great at helping to transfer over all the data, etc from my old phone to me new. Then helped me to delete all detail on the old phone before mailing it back to AT&T. In addition, Diane showed me how to use the "Voice to text" feature. Both were very helpful - I am so pleased with my AT&T store - Thank you! read more

He assisted me with an affordable plan and helped me set up DirectTV Now, a service I would not have known about, if he hadn't informed me that I would save money and data usage. At&t are no longer the co./service my family has known for many many years. they lie they cheat they make agreements and promises that never hold up. They even put our bill into our daughters name using my husband Social Security number this company is a bunch of these gangster acting people and not to believe or trust it on any level. Why some part of the government has not gotten involved in this after thousands of complaints on many different social media levels I do not understand. In short they lie they change contracts and there are is no customer service involved when you try to work these horrible things out. Ours started with our wonderful family buying almost $800 worth of gift cards that were used manipulated in change for what they were intended for. I work here people ...all these reviews are by upset customers who didn't get there way. I'm new to this location, so I'm not defending my "friends" or anything of such sorts. The team is properly trained and is constantly retrained on an ongoing basis. Most people think that when a sales representative suggests a certain product or accessory, they are just trying to make a sale but they are wrong. Our commission structure isn't that black and white and there is more to it than just making a sale .....oh FYI: "GREAT" customer service is also part of that comp structure so go figure a company that actually cares about your experience! ?!? read more

NO STARS FOR THIS AT&T STORE!!! NEGATIVE 10 STARTS IF IT WERE POSSIBLE!!! There was a post last week by Lulu P. and I'm going to have to agree with her when she said POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Maybe not everyone who works here is horrible, but one person can ruin things for everyone. Such is the case in my experience with Tony. I went to this store intenting to upgrade my phone but stay on the same plan, or at least have something comparable to data and price, where I wouldn't have to pay much more than I already do or I'd be inclined to switch to another provider. I've been a loyal AT&T customer for many years due to their friendly service and I was always proud to say that I have never had a bad experience, that is, until today... I had a 5:45 appointment but came 15 minutes early with my friend so we could look around a bit. Tony and a couple of other associates noticed us come in and he was quick to beat the others. I was glad that he offered to help us right away, but that was short-lived. When I told Tony what I wanted, he said it wasn't possible; I'd have to pay. $299 + taxes and fees for the phone i wanted, switch to a different plan where I'd lose my discount (which he couldn't clearly explain why), and pay $40 more per month compared to what I pay now. He tried to convince me to go on the "Next" plan, for at least an additional minimum of $27/ month. Why would I want to do all that and be stuck on a contract for two years, when I could just not renew my contract, go month to month at no additional cost, and get an phone later on from somewhere else for half the price? He was very disinterested when I started asking questions, He didn't offer any options, or do a side-by-side comparison of my current plan and the new plan that I'd end up with. He didn't even try to look for a better fit for what i wanted. Also, he had no personality and he sarcastically told me "good luck" in finding a better deal or carrier that would offer what I wanted. I felt defeated, but my friend took me to the other AT&T Cerritos branch on South Street across from the mall. GO THERE INSTEAD and ask for Tim Policarpio! He's super friendly and informative. He hooked me up with an awesome bundle where I paid half of what I would've with Tony, and I got all sorts of tuff: phone, case, screen protector, AND a tablet! 10 STARTS TO TIM AT THE SOUTH STREET BRANCH!!! This AT&T store is so pathetic, I have no clue why they are open for business. On three separate occasions (issues) I visited this store for various reasons -- whether it be for account modifications, product inquiry, or enrolling for paperless billing, these majority of the employees here are incompetent.... and I mean incompetent in every sense of the word. My most recent visit was a ridiculous experience.. First, I was returning to this store because a couple days prior an employee here supposedly "helped me" sign-up for a billing discount through my work. He ensured me that my employee ID would suffice in receiving my bill discount, but later that day I was contacted by AT&T to let me know that my 'employee discount' (I don't work for AT&T) was invalid because I used my employee ID when they needed a recent pay stub. SO.... I found myself at AT&T again, waiting in a long line, just to fix a problem that should have been dealt with on my first visit. The moment I walked-in I noticed that all of the employees were currently helping a customer and one other customer was waiting in-line. The employees didn't seem too stressed/busy with their customers, yet I noticed that they all took quick glances at me, but never acknowledged that I was waiting for help (at least for the first 25 minutes). I was waiting for someone to approach me (like all of the other stores do) to add me to the wait-list. Finally, after 40-45 minutes I was asked if I had my name added to the list -- which I replied "no" -- then my name was added. I waited a total of 55 minutes in a line that was three people long. I WOULD have been second in line had it not been for some rude lady who charged into the store and demanded that she be put on the wait list while I was patiently waiting for an employee to add me to the list. Of course, the employees there accommodated her even though they knew I was waiting long before her. What really irked me was at the 45 minute mark when some girl walked in, noticed how long the line was, and called for a male employee and explained how she wanted to be helped first because she "needed to go to LAX (the airport) very soon". AND HE ACCOMMODATED HER! He pulled her out of a line that was FIVE PEOPLE long and cut her to the front to help her. WHAT THE HELL!?! I had been waiting for almost an hour by then and she gets to cut in line because she's late to go to the airport? I didn't know lame excuses could get you to the front of the line! I FINALLY get my issued resolved (or so I think, for now), if it's not... you'll soon see another negative review. I don't know why I keep coming here -- other than the fact that this location is the closest to my mom's house. It's lame... and I'm going to do everything I can to avoid this place from now on. Every time I've come here for an issue -- no exaggeration, EVERY TIME -- I tried to get something resolved (eg. signing up for paperless billing), mundane and easy tasks which the employees should be able to handle easily and on ONE visit, but I find myself coming back within a couple days because what they supposedly did on the first visit either never happened or causes some other issue. It's ridiculous. When I tried to sign-up for paperless billing I had to come back three times because I kept getting paper bills in the mail. Back when I was splitting my account I had requested that all the information between my account and the other account be split and isolated from each other (to eliminate my bills from going to the other account's house and the other account's bills coming to mine), this issue required five trips back and forth to the AT&T store -- the fifth and final visit was to another AT&T store to have the issue resolved (which was apparently easy to do). Again, I can't explain how ridiculously incompetent most of the employees at this location are. Aside from a couple of the female employees who seem to handle their job decently well, the rest of them can't be trusted to get the job done right on the first visit. To all other readers: go to another AT&T store and save time and headache. read more

Twice that I had to deal with this store twice I got disappointed. The first time was the wait. Phone has issue and need to replace the SIM. The wait was more than 1 hour. Given that it is a Saturday and they are busy, I will take that. However, I do think they need more experience sales. The 2nd time was yesterday Nov 6, 2014. Same thing, I need to change the SIM on the other phone (Don't know why SIM failed). This time the lady won't help. Her name is Cree and claim to be the store manager. Instead she wants the customer to call the 800 #. She said that it is store policy. It definitely not pleasant working with her. Don't go to this store unless you have to. I hate phone stores to begin with but I've been going here for years without any real issues. I don't think I've ever been ignored or treated badly. They mostly have phones in stock but it's a hit or miss. A lot of the phones on the wall are never turned on so you can't play with them, which I think sucks. Any time I've had a problem with my phone, the employees are helpful, albeit slow at completing transactions... definitely a process. That being said, I'd rather go here, because for some reason I've just had really good luck with catching the employees that actually know something. read more

Rant about AT&T shitty service....Our internet was out from last Monday around 2pm and wasn't restored until Friday around 4pm & before that the week prior it was out for a few hours (not to mention all the times it cuts in and out). I have been a customer for over 10 years with 5 sell phone lines, internet and TV services. I call customer service and they offer me 6 fucking dollars as compensation. ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!!!! Then the tech tells me he will talk to his supervisor and he promises he will call me back.... Another big bullshit LIE!.....Guess what! Today it went out again around 2pm and I won't have a tech here until the 6th unless I take another unpaid day off work (so they say but I never got a conformation). All the staff members are very helpful and friendly. Every time I've come, they've had more than enough employees to not keep people waiting. My go to guy is Jerald. He's usually there weekdays. Very knowledgable on everything from promos.. plans... even the electronics. He use to work for Apple so he knows the ins and outs of features of the products. Especially Apple related products. The benefit of him knowing Apple so well, he can tell you all the differences between an Apple product and non Apple product. I know what you're thinking, he's going to push you to get Apple stuff. Nope. He doesn't do anything but help you find what best suits you. Knowing it well just helps compare and contrast. This is now my only go to store. read more

I literally just left the store LIVID first of all they had only 2 sales associates working tonight (which is completely ridiculous since it is Friday). I waited around for more than 50 minutes while the two sales associates held conversations with the customers THAT WERE NOT EVEN PHONE RELATED. The manager apologized he seemed really nice I kind of felt bad for going off at him, but at the same time he needs to be more on top of the associates to makes sure they're working. I've been forced to go to this location over the memorial holiday weekend. My old phone which was on a family plan was canceled without notice (you have to love your family when they do that right?). So, we/ I need a new phone. We went in the store with the purpose of reactivating the old phone number under a new account but apparently this can only be done over the phone with a customer rep. from the call center. Bummers. Their hours were already over. So, what is there to do? New phone number and while we are at it a new phone. Michael was the sales rep. that helped us out not only with adding the new number to an existing account but in selecting a new phone witch supposedly will perform pretty well. (since I am European I am biased towards Nokia or Sony Ericsson ) Amongst the above mentioned we bought a phone holder and we asked for some screen protection film for a phone we already owned. Michael was more than helpful and he answered our requests with a sense of urgency that you don't really find around that much anymore. I can't say that I've been in a lot of AT&T stores but this one left us with a good impression (especially because of Michael) read more

Waited over an hour to be helped. Only 2 people helping customers as the others walked around looking at their tablets. Was finally helped after 1 hr and 15 min wait I was finally helped by one of the people that had been walking around the whole time I was there. She asked why I was there and I told her I was there to upgrade 3 lines to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s she says "oh we don't have them" I told her I called ahead of time and that the greeter told me they were in stock. She said that they never had them and were waiting for a shipment. Freaking waste of time and they could have cared less. ZERO stars. I came in wanting an apple watch. I asked the representative by the name of MANNY if my activation fee could be waived on my account. I told him the company I worked for usually offered discounts. He mentioned that my employer did in fact give a discount and I would only be charged 17.50 today. I thought it was weird I had to pay today because another location told me it would be applied to my bill but I let it go because he took my trade in and applied that to the taxes of the watch. He mentioned that the 17.50 would be used towards direct tv now so that I would at least put that fee to use. I kindly opted out of direct tv because I didn't want to cancel it in month. He told me I would receive an email but to ignore it .. again I thought it was weird but I thought he was honest. Well, I was wrong. He enrolled me into direct tv now and entered my card info that I used to pay for the $6 I owed for taxes on my watch plus the 17.50 for direct tv now he enrolled me in. He then applied the 17.50 activation fee also for my watch which I later found out that my company actually WAIVES. So I found out that 17.50 would show up on my next bill. Be careful if you have him and review everything before walking out. He will do anything to make sure he has a sale. I've never experienced that before. I see why he left wells fargo as his previous job... they are corrupt there also. The manager gave me my credit back and fixed everything. I purchased in iPhone X three days ago. I found it it was having an issue with answering and receiving phone calls. They refused to do anything to help, even though it was within 14day return policy, me other than make me an apple appointment. My only other option was to pay $45 for them to restock my defective phone and then I would receive a new one. I spoke with the manager Marinel and she wouldn't even waive my restocking fee so that I could have a functional iPhone. She also said they have a deal with Apple to fix iPhones through the Apple store, please inform Apple employees as the two I spoke with had no idea of this policy and they referred me to the att store.
