The actual store could be much better managed with a few improvements for customers as they check in and wait for assistance. (a more efficient check in process and more posted or print out information on plans & prices would be nice, an actual waiting area with refreshments would probably make a huge improvement in quality of experience). I didnt know how to check in or who i should ask to check in when i arrived, luckily an associate caught me wandering and approached me for check in, but it would have been easier if that associate was dedicated to that and standing by the entrance, poor guy looked like he was juggling check ins and assisting with customers who did not look happy when he had to step away to help me. I have been AT&T customer for a while, but circa 2006 tempted I was unfaithful with Verizons because of a good employee discount (during the almost flawless years when I worked for Merrill Lynch *sigh* long story *sigh* ) After that I returned to AT&T and haven't left since. One fine day my beloved iPhone started misbehaving, I looked online and did everything I was supposed to do, I event took it to the Dr (South Coast Plaza Apple Store) and nothing... the iPhone brat was misbehaving more and more everyday The time has come.... I had to replace it. Once I decided that, I went to the Fullerton AT&T to see what they had for me. I was promptly greeted at arrival, while waiting I had time to play with the phones and tablets (OMG! I was in heaven playing with all those toys!!) Then Carlos took care of me, very patiently he explained me the advantages of one phone over the other, advised me and finally helped me to make a decision: no more iPhone for me! Now I'm a Galaxy user!!! Yes the BIG screen Galaxy : ) perfect for me!!!! ** Note: iPhone is more expensive than Galaxy, I liked that he was after my best interest, regardless of price and of course commission I'm surprised on their rating here in Yelp, because their service was great. I bought an iphone and Applecare. I could have just finished my transaction but the sales clerk, James, wanted to chat about my ancient plan, billing discount, and how much it was to add a new line. Why would I give up my grandfathered unlimited data plan? Even though we told him that my husband's phone bill is paid by his work, he tried to talk us into combining our accounts (work isn't even on AT&T!). The worker to "helped" me was not after my best interest. Clerks either wear blue polo shirts or dress shirts. He said he owned four tablets. My son ran out of the store as he spoke to my husband about the Samsung Note. The store workers seem proud of some waterproof tablet. There is a female store greeter. I learned that my area has AT&T fiber internet now and that 4G LTE will require a new data contract that I can't be grandfathered under. I think they're pushing Samsungs over iphones because there's more money in 4G LTE. I was told that a Pantech is half the price of an iphone but Android isn't as user-friendly [and the material quality seems cheaper]. They are waiting for the ipad 3 shipment. read more

I had a great experience at this store. Javier Rosete was very helpful. I had gone three days in a row because I had an idea of what I wanted to do and the first day I met Javier he told me of the options I had. Unfortunately I had to go back a second day and someone else had to help me but didn't tell me the same info that Javier did and when I went back the Third time I made sure to wait for Javier to be available to help me. He made switching accounts and getting a new phone so easy. He helped us move all the data between phones as well. I had a problem with connecting wirelessly to my home internet connection and I called customer technical support, and suggested to go to the nearest ATT store and have them check my modem/router and cord. They gave me this location. I came here on a Saturday, and oh boy, the store was super busy. As in, super busy- the crowd is massive. I asked one of the staffs if they are having a huge sale, or specials, and she said nope, it's just their regular Saturday. And I was like, the last time I came here no one except me and two other, and the she reiterated that, it's been like that- busy all the time. Anyway- so I got in and the lady asks what brought me to their store that day, and told them I need my modem and cord checked- as my internet connection at home is not functioning. She asked me to wait, and wait for my name to be called. Maybe after 10-15 minutes- guy staff came in to me, took the modem and cord, and proceed with the trouble shooting. After another 5 minutes or so- he came back to me and said that the cord is damaged, so he offered me to buy a cord- which I did. In short- I got the help I needed, there was crowd- so as a proper etiquette, I waited with patience, the staff were very helpful, I didn't feel I got robbed, they really are professional- know what they are doing. TLDR: Bluntly put, the customer service is shitty as fuck. You may got lied to and scammed. Havana Marecheau has ripped off $100+ dollars from me at this location. Avoid her at all costs. While I had no problem with the actual services provided to me by AT&T for over 10 years, I discontinued my services with AT&T because of the customer service provided by the retail sales consultants. Havana Marecheau of the AT&T branch at Fullerton Town Service was dishonest and immoral. After my phone had broken, we came to Havana to try and update our monthly contract. Her given estimate for $120-128, but our monthly bill came out to $234.This was over a $100 difference than her given estimate. It was an extreme hassle to try and reduce the price of our monthly contract. Overall, I felt scammed and disappointed by this company who I had been a long time customer of. Will not be returning back to AT&T after being lied to during this ordeal. read more

Jairo the manager was very rude, the store wouldn't answer the phone when I was calling in so I decided to drive in. They did not have the phone in stock so I asked to have them order it. Jairo said I needed to go online and order it if I wanted it. I asked why they aren't picking up the phone when customers call in, he said they are. So I used my cell phone to call the store in front of Jairo and although there where 3 sales reps available in the store to wait on customers, none of them where answering the phone that was clearly ringing in the store. Yup, a 2-star average sounds about right for this place. Maria helped me today and she was pretty awesome, super customer service oriented but unfortunately erroneously transferred a number to my account that I did not recognize so that began my day long pursuit to get it corrected. I was on the phone with customer service hoping I could handle the correction without having to go back into the store but unfortunately they said that the cancellation of the incorrect number had to occur in the store that assigned it to me so I went back to the store later the same day and the rep Alejandra was really adamant about the fact that she cannot cancel lines and that I had to call customer service. I told her I had a very specific conversation about this already with Customer Service but she refused to listen, she even got a little rude and started to escort me out of the store because as far as she was concerned she was done with me, which I do not appreciate. I immediately called customer service from my car and the woman on the other end of the phone was so wonderful and took care of my cancellation almost instantly. She also told me that they could have canceled this line in the store and I told her what Alejandra told me and she said as long as it was a corporate store they could cancel the line, which this location is. It's frustrating to get the runaround when I was already massively inconvenienced!! She also wanted to charge me $5 for a new SIM card when their error is the reason I would need a new SIM card in the first place. I did not feel taken care of as a customer should. All of the responsibility of correcting THEIR error fell on me, the customer. My name is entered into their walk-in list and I see my name is second in line. I waited less than 3 minutes and am helped by a gentleman. Learned there is a difference between a CORPORATE AT&T and an authorized AT&T dealer.
