Still unable to charge iPad Pro. The technician plugged in his charge port diagnostic device and showed it was normal. And had current draw. The iPad was able to charge using his cables and power blocks. No fee was charged for that service. Service was quick and friendly. I still got home and was unable to charge my iPad Pro with my existing blocks, but using one of the same cables it seems to charge when connected to my MacBook. So maybe it has something to do with software communication or the usb c controller

Normally I am not rash, and churlish enough to toss my phone on a carpeted floor expecting it to land safely. No it bounced and hit the frame of a antique sewing machine, so perfectly that it cracked the screen...okay confession over. So this process took a week and 3 trips. I am willing to accept that some of the overall length of time is "supply chain" [they didn't have my screen model in stock]. However my only knock is the said they would call and never did. I called a few days into the wait. Young man said it was there, so I made the trip (not that far, but still not without hassle). When I arrived he looked around (I would argue that should have been done when I called) and was told to come over. All good we all make lazy mistakes sometimes. Young man was otherwise professional and polite. Anyway the work was done correctly, phone looks like new and $100 lesson in being an impulsive dolt was worth it. Lesson learned, get more sleep during the week, get some exercise, manage stress better so you don't have to go through this first world problem, a dumb problem to create for yourself.

Everything had worked ok, it was just that it kept turning off from overheating. After waiting, I got a call that the ps5 isn't sending a signal through the hdmi port. Something about the hdmi not receiving enough power from the mother board, from what I remember. They offered to swap the hdmi to see if that works, to which I said ok. But it didn't. They handed it back saying that it's unrepairable. It turned from cleaning out a ps5 to being unrepairable. At least they had good customer service, and they said they refunded since it wasn't repairable. Which at least that is good. I didn't want my friend to have to spend money on buying a completely new console so I tried a different place. I took it to a place called console repair store. I should've taken it there before considering the name. I knew about it, but forgot about it. They not only did a cleanout, but had said the hdmi wasn't even soldered on correctly, along with it being crooked. Unlike UbreakIfix they aren't a corporation that's constantly changing technitions. It's just one very good technition from what I saw.
