Poorly trained staff let to a lot of confusion and 3 dead phones for 3 days. When converting from Verizon to AT&T I went to this start. When I left I felt very good but hours later we were struggling to port 3 of our 4 phones. The helpline did not help, store staff said last store person did it wrong, and we needed to wait for 48 hours before we could port our phones (???). After 48 hours still not working and FINALLY, the manager reviewed the record and admitted that some of the staff gave us bad information. WTF!!! 4 wasted days and some crazy times trying to get the correct information. I will not go there ever again. read more

I just expected to go in, buy a new phone, and get out of there - but it was not the case with Kim. I'm so glad I had to pleasure to be her customer. I would give zero starts if I could. This store is horrible. I will drive out of my way to go any other store. I haven't been back in almost two years after they misused my gift card and used my credit card to double charge me for a new phone both without my permission. My issue was actually escalated to AT&T Corporate because the manager and her staff where grossly incompetent. Today, I was literally steps away from this location, and stopped in because of a technical roaming problem on my iPhone. They were beyond clueless. They didn't know why my service was behaving this way or if I would be charged. These two guys seemed like they had zero problem solving skills or training, and they both have been there a long time now. I quickly left, called AT&T customer service and the customer service rep knew and fixed within two minutes. read more

Like most people, I usually dread a visit like this. I've had many past experiences that left me feeling ripped off. However, I was lucky enough to meet Teri. I've had to purchase two iPhones (before an upgrade was available) and was fearing the worst but Teri did everything she could to help me. She's knowledgable and kind and I really appreciate it! Went to this locale to upgrade my iphone 7 (dont judge me) to the iphone 11 which Kim helped us. One word AWESOME after this great experience Kim helped me convinced my wife to switch over to the T from T-Mobile after 8 years. Although Kim did not help us this part Nia did a great job moving my wife's phone over. We came back the next day to move my wife's watch over and Kim completed the great experience. I typically dont write reviews but Kim helped me with an 8 year sales pitch and the team work was crazy- i think we're ready for that mamba sauce in DC! read more

AT&T is the greediest company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in recent years. I have had the same phone plan for several years due to early termination fees etc and have had to fight them tooth and nail at least once a week to prevent numerous attempts at theft through iTunes, sneaky hidden charges and price raises etc. Without fail they never admit fault and will move you from person to person, department to department where no one claims to have the power to correct a wrong once its admitted. Once you finally are able to reach a manager they will take of the charge begrudgingly as if you are at fault for pulling their covers. Anyone considering joining or signing on with any AT&T please reconsider. Trying to leave is like trying to escape a pit of quicksand. This is by far the worst corporation I've dealt with in the past decade. James Earl Jones who played Darth Vador in star wars and who is the voice of AT&T would be a perfect fit in full costume. Teri!!!!! I had the best experience at this store let alone any AT&T store because of one employee. Teri made buying a new phone the easiest process ever! She was great with communication skills, going over all my options with my current contact and just so dang friendly!! I had been to the Apple store twice in one day, in a terrible mood receiving the news my phone was really broken and needed a new one. I have never in my life dealt with such incompetence. I went in on the 16th and ordered the new iPhone. Over the next 2.5 weeks I went in another 3 times. Each time receiving different information about returning the phone, restocking fees, purchasing a new phone, the $300 in bill credits, etc. Eventually, because of the series of misinformation I received, I am now at a loss of nearly $350 in bill credits and restocking fees and over 4 hours of wasted time on the phone or waiting for help at the store. Not to mention, the two girls working when I went in the last time on 10/2 in the am shift were unbelievably rude (the manager and associate). The manager told me she couldn't waive the restocking fee as she didn't have access. I call AT&T customer service when I get home and they say the ONLY person who can is the manager in the store I bought the device from--which is what the previous associates had told me as well. I never want to deal with this store again. The customer service is appalling. read more

I arrived at this store with the goal of a simple return of an accessory that didn't work correctly. After waiting several minutes I was informed that I needed to get on the waiting list for service. 45 minutes later I was still waiting. Several other customers who wished to make simple accessory purchased were told they would have to get on the waiting list. The staff was unhelpful to the point of rude. They seem to take pleasure in making customers wait ridiculously long periods for simple transactions. I will cancel my home and business service and never return to AT&T for service. read more

Got my new iPhone 4 last Saturday from online sales. I started my service yesterday (5 days later) and got my phone all set up. Then, I got my first incoming call: no sound. Hm... maybe it's the settings. Spent a few minutes trying to figure it out but couldn't. Called Customer Support and was told that I needed to take the phone in to my local AT&T Store, where it is AT&T policy that within the first 30 days a phone that is not working can be exchanged. Walked into the store and the less-than-busy employees offered assistance. A younger gentleman asked what he could do for me. I explained that I just spoke with Customer Support and that they told me to bring this phone into them for exchange. The employee told me that they do not exchange and that I had to go to Apple to exchange the phone. Huh? 30 days? It hasn't been a full ONE DAY yet. I then proceeded to explain that I ordered it FROM AT&T and that Customer Service directed me TO THIS STORE for exchange. I also asked why they would direct me to this store if I was supposed to go to Apple. He had no response. Just told me that they send tons of people to Apple all the time. He said he'd call his boss and ask if they could do it for me, as if it would have been a favor (NO IT IS POLICY), but his boss then said "no." My favorite comment that the employee made was in regards to my stating that I was busy the next week or so trying to finish my thesis and running to an Apple Store would really cut into my work time. He said, "can't you just use speakerphone or the earpiece?" This is my first DAY with AT&T, I have a phone that was sent to me defective, and THAT is your response?! (Honestly, I think this store is trying to save money by telling AT&T customers to go elsewhere. It is my assumption that they lied to me because they would have incurred some expenses that they felt no obligation to pay since they did not sell me the phone. They send ALL iPhone issues to Apple so they don't have to do the work, but at the cost of the reputation of their store and the AT&T brand.) I left the store and attempted to call Customer Service, as the woman on the phone told me to do if I encountered any issues inside. They were off work at 7pm PST? This company IS NOT impressing me thus far. They should have 24-7 phone support, like Sprint (who, incidentally, charge less). Called Customer Support this morning and was told they would call another AT&T Store for me, the one on Bellflower. We'll see what kind of review I give them after all is said and done. Thus far I'm SERIOUSLY regretting getting AT&T at all and would rather have kept Sprint if I knew their service, both Customer and in-store, were going to be this nightmare-ish. Edit/Update: Apparently the Bellflower AT&T Store also refused to exchange the product. The rep was very confused as it is AT&T policy, and well, these stores ARE AT&T. She offered me $100 off my next bill, which would be fine if that could be spent paying someone to complete my thesis while I drive to and wait in line at the Apple Store. Sigh... read more

I'm giving this location three stars because the associate who was helping me was really nice and was trying her best to help me with my problem. Unfortunately, when the problem is the whole entire AT&T coverage and phone, there's really nothing an associate can do about it. I'm up for an upgrade and the possibility of signing a new 2 year contract but I'm reluctant, especially with the horrible service (dropped calls, lag time). Anyway, surprisingly it wasn't crowded after 6pm, which was nice and i was immediately offered help once I stepped in the door (another plus). I was there for almost an entire hour and the associate even offered to get me a chair to sit on while she tried to help me with my phone issues. The store is clean, very well kept and although the company itself is a big disappointment, I give this location credit for being so customer friendly, clean and conveniently located close by home. My phone issue was never resolved... I have to go back again sometime this week. I am not looking forward to it, but it's definitely like going to the DMV or the dentist office... nobody ever wants to go but it has to be done! read more

Told me to buy a new phone because my iPhone update was slowing down my old phone. Told me it would take 1 hour to upload my iCloud to back up my old phone, came back in and they said sorry 6 more hours. By this time I'm not allowed to take the old phone, which I needed for work, because it was now their property they said. Left my old phone uploading while I'm headed to work, need a verification code from the phone they have, which I finally get after 6 unanswered calls to the store, which call 7 was answered extremely rudely and told me they're busy and was literally hung up on. Now I'm back here the next morning, old phone they have is dead, they never charged it, no manager on duty, and no one knows what's happening. read more

Recent bought 4 iphones and spent over $1,000 on phones and accessories at this store. Sales person didn't set up my phone correctly and had to spend 3 hours at an Apple Store to fix it because ATT store refused to service phone 36 hours after it was purchased. The next problem was a defect phone charger which stopped working 1 month after it was purchased. Tried to exchange charger at ATT store on 2nd street and manager, David Gonzalez, ID #DG348T told me to drive to the Cerritos Apple store if I wanted a working phone charger. "We don't service Apple Phones or products". AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Before buying any ATT product, make sure it is a corporate store, otherwise there is NO customer service. I had to call ATT customer service to get any response to my problem. read more

I felt that I was wasting his time. When I asked him if her could recommend a phone he pointed to a wall of phones. When he was helping me a coworker came and asked him what he did with her phone? WTF!!!! He is with a customer. But he left me to help the coworker. When I asked him if the phone has a hot spot he didn't know. Usually a trip to the phone store is unpleasant. Mostly because whenever I walk away I always feel defeated because I have to spend more money. But this store is different. I have had to come in for many things including setting up home Internet. And every encounter has been pleasant. They have never pressured me into getting something I don't need or want, even though they are sales people. One time I did get a guy who did seem incompetent right from the beginning and I did ask to wait for another person to work with. And then I was quickly in and out. I'm a person who values customer service. I had worked for Nordstroms for 10 years and I am still in the retail industry. Yes, my husband and I entered this establishment with the intentions on purchasing something but the one on one contact is what propelled me to write this review. Two years ago, my husband, who had Att could not get service at his work anymore. He switched over to T Mobile. He ended up switching buildings a year ago and now his T Mobile no longer works BUT people who have Att can get service. He visited three different Att stores each person told him he needed to do different things before he could change back over to Att. He thought he had all his ducts in a row. We entered this location and met up with Tamika Crump. As advised by Tamika, my husband needed to unlock his phone before service could be switched over. He was not happy at all as no one told him this before. Tamika held her composure and was always smiling. She offered her business card and assured my husband she could take care of everything once he retrieved his password to unlock his phone. Kudos to her!!! read more
