I have paid my bills and left; stop harassing paying customers. I left AT&T and still harassed; after I paid in full. Number 1- Don't go to Long Beach 2nd store! Period. Not only did corporate personnel just state that the "manager" can only take the complaint but was not understand the underlining issue. My wife and I recently upgraded our phones to the Samsung Galaxy S26. Today, we walked into the store to turn in our old Samsung phones. Melanie greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful. She answered our questions quicly and expedited completing the paperwork to return the phones to the manufacturer. She also inquired about whether we wanted to insure our phones, which had already planned to do. Melanie helped us for just under an hour. It was SO refreshing to find staff who was this invested in providing awesome customer service and making sure that we received all the services we needed. SUPER employee! Its good to have AT&T store in a neighborhood. I purchased quite a few phones here over the years. Its not good when they sell you products (physical and plans) while withholding the information and/or openly giving you wrong info on how much it would cost you once you walk out. Once you walk out of the store they got you, as you cannot reverse it back.... Suddenly your bill comes, and you go WHAT? Good luck with changing anything on it. The phone extensions maze is created for you to travel through a labyrinth of "let me transfer you" until you will give up. You give up - they win. Bingo. Next customer, please. The manager Luis was so friendly and helpful. He simultaneously triaged multiple customers in the store while he sorted out my returns and purchases. Despite being so busy he made us all feel like our presence / time was respected. Usually i walk into other att stores and feel like I'm just adding to their work/stress. I do not even want to give this store a ONE STAR. The representatives at this storefront would not sell me a SIM card. A 5$ SIM card. They said they do not sell SIM card and can not and will not. I than called the 1-800 # AGAIN and customer service placed a order for a SIM card for me to pick up in store elsewhere. I than filed a customer complaint regarding the interaction I had faced within that store. Misrepresentation incorrect policy being related to consumer refusing service etc ... Came in to buy an IPhone, took about five minutes to be acknowledged that I was in the store because salesman was with another client. That's fine. I asked if there was another sales rep that could possibly help me. He put his head in the door to the back room and came out and said it would be 15 minutes because he was doing inventory. I asked "Can inventory wait so he could come and wait on a customer? " The response was, "I don't know, no, I just work here". And so I left. There are plenty of places to buy iPhones, I suggest you find one. I think when you spend $1000, there should be a little bit of attention made to you. read more

Store #1 The very first word out of the manager named Myra was "huh"? It was all downhill from there. (Now that I think of it, it was already it was a banana peel slippery slope.) Bf received an extraordinary offer for an iPhone. This offer was also shown on television in a holiday ad. I heard it stated in that ad that the offer applied to new and existing costumers. Off we went to take advantage of said deal. Suckers. We fell for it. Like coming up with bait and switch ideas isn't how a battalion of corporate entitIes get their pay. A gobbledegook reason not to honor the offer was what was offered. It's a good one. Bf is told he did not qualify because of his status as prepaying customer. Do they make this stuff up? It required effort to get the manager's presence on the sales floor. Every manager of this store is ensconced in a chamber (office), invisible to the sales room. Now bf has had some past encounters with helpful sales people here and he notes that what every sales person has in common that he or she is very easy on the eyes. Which might make it easier to say "so sorry no can do". Hmmmm. So Myra manager just stood by, abdicating her authority while letting the sales person spout disqualifying reasons. Bf believes being a long standing customer should count for something. Make sense? Less so in this millennium. Customer goes bye bye. Notch on their corporate...whatever it is they notch. read more

For an entire year I've been chasing Jamal around to fix the billing on my account from when Shay sold a bogo deal to us for Mother's Day in 2019!!!! Check my previous review for the story....this is an update. I am still a dissatisfied customer regretting letting Shay mess with my account. I should have went to another carrier like I intended. Shay lied and said we weren't going into a contract, well, if you are stuck in something for 2 years then yes it is a contract. Now Shay has no idea what's wrong, whereas before she knew EXACTLY what was wrong immediately, but the other manager, Sara, wouldn't fix it....that's why I was sent on a chase to find Jamal, who is no longer with the company of coarse. Monday we went in and Shay told me to wait while she gets the manager. 15 minutes later (her customer even had to ask the young man there to help her bec Shay left to get me the manager and hadn't returned) Shay returned telling my hubby and I that the manager is already gone. Tuesday at 5pm I went to the store again and left at 6:30pm with no results. The new manager (yes there's another one again), Patrick, is going thru my billing to see what he can do (I assume) so I was fine with leaving and giving him more time. I really really really appreciate any help in getting this figured out once and for all before I head to Texas. Anyway, Shay told me they would call me the next day bec they will be finished going thru it all. I NEVER heard from Shay or Patrick. Today at 1:34pm and Shay is off and Patrick's in another meeting and he will call me back when he's done. I'm starting to feel like this is not going to get resolved at store level after all, which is why I'm now writing this review. If something changes then I'll update again. This is the worse service ever and I'd never recommend AT&T. While I was in the store 3 others left unhappy. One man was even tossing his stuff around. I'm gone as soon as my "not a contract" is over in May of 2021. Patrick did give me $160 credit, but that's not what I was told so as much as I appreciate his doing that, I'm really upset Shay screwed me over! Karina was so awesome and helpful!! We went to this AT&T store to switch from Verizon to AT&T after 20 years. All of the representatives were totally helpful and we're so happy with our new AT&T service. We even ordered the new iPhone. When we had some issues getting it connected to cellular Karina was able to help us get connected within 15 minutes. She even helped me wipe my old iPhone for trade in. Walked into this store prepared to buy the new Apple Watch due to my old watch finally giving up on me. 3 associates were there, 1 of them was the manager Celeste, there were 3 associates to 2 guest. All 3 associates looked me directly in my eyes & didn't even say "hello, I'll be with you momentarily" or anything, genuinely felt like I was bothering them with my jolly presence. 2 associates were helping 1 guest! I've been with AT&T 15 years, been into a store maybe 5 times total, this experience makes me never want to go back to a store. Being in the customer service field I'm aware of how far a simple "hello" will go especially when someone is coming in to spend their hard earned money. That was an uncomfortable experience. This store is 100% the worst AT&T store I have ever been to. The managers are so unprofessional and the staff is poorly trained. I got the new iPhone 7Plus and turned in my old phone for a promotion that was a FREE upgrade. A month later I saw my bill shot up to $389 from $101. I called AT&T and they said the store never showed I turned in my phone and that's why I was charged. So then I went into the store. They said I turned it in but owed a balance on it so that's what the charge was for. When I saw the receipt it shows $0 value for the turned in phone. MJ is the manager that oversaw David J take my phone and zero out the credit for it. They can't find the phone now and say I need to pay $242 for it. AT&T said they have seen stores take phones and put zero credit down for them then the rep sells them for profit online. Looks like I'm a victim too now. NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS STORE! These sales reps are sales people, they will hustle you, work you and will talk you into adding things on your phone you don't need or want. So be very careful they are here to sell you things including phone insurance that you can do without. Otherwise you end up spending a lot more than you wanted to spend. Have a spending plan limit and do your research and stick to it . The store is well stock of all Gadgets and Phones you like. The employees were nice and helpful. read more

Sometimes I'm a jerk. Sometimes I mozy into a store a mere three minutes before closing to make a purchase. Sometimes I make a sales associate stay 10 minutes later than they had planned. And, sometimes, just sometimes, I kick people in the shins. Hey, I told you I was a jerk sometimes. You know who's not a jerk though? The dude working at the AT&T store in Belmont Shore. When I came wandering in at 6:57pm on a Sunday night I didn't get one single exaggerated eye-roll, annoyed sigh, or knowing look to a co-worker. Nope, I got nothing but the best of service from good ol' Alfonso at the AT&T Store. And this was all before I even told him I was there to get an iPhone, he was just as happy to help after he found out about the little bump in commission he'd be getting at the end of the night. I was expecting a rushed transaction, and I wouldn't blame him. Hell, I'm the jerk here at closing on a Sunday night. But, no, not Alfonso - he still offered the upsell of chargers and covers and such, he happily transferred all of the phone numbers from the old phone to the new one, and even gave a quick tutorial on how to use this new-fangled iPhone. I must say, I was quite impressed with the service here. And it was much better than I've ever received at either the location in Seal Beach or on Bellflower. Horrendous customer service! Staff lacks training and basic knowledge of products, most specifically Digital Life. Greeting by initial employee rude and somewhat surly. Sales associate disappeared into the back to ask her manager a question about the service address. Waited and waited and waited.....looked around and noticed every employee except the security guard disappeared. We kindly departed. Bottom line: when purchasing something as serious as a home security system, you need a have a level of trust and competency in the company and people who work there. The staff is very nice but I had a few issues with our business account recently. First, after going in a couple of times and being very clear to them which phone I wanted, they ordered me the wrong one. I had to go through a bunch of steps to get correct phone because I didn't notice until I opened the box. Which means a return rather than a simple restock. Then I had to submit a new order for new phone. Both times I paid for sales tax at purchase and was told I'd get a refund for the first phone - the incorrect order. I never got that refund. I tried calling the store about this because support said they had no control over this transaction and store people had no clue how to answer and said sorry they couldn't help. I called business support again and someone very helpful found that the had indeed received the returned phone but said that store should have refunded me but since it was clear they weren't going to, she gave me a credit on our next statement. I also found out that the store auto enrolled me in an insurance plan and something called next up. No one mentioned this to me. I just got an email about it - 3 months after I bought the phone. I called support again and they said the store does automatically add this but they're supposed to tell you so you can opt out. So I had to again ask for a credit and cancel some bs that the store people failed to handle correctly. Nice people but kind of lame at actually doing their job. read more

Wow, I can't believe this store is still on 2nd St. The worst service I've experienced. Seems like know one wants to work in the store except the one young man that is doing everything. There were three girls working. One girl checked me in because of Covid and put my name on the board overhead on a screen. I was first inline and one girl came over to me and started to help but went to the back room and didn't return. Another girl came over and said have you been helped I replied that there was someone but I don't know where she disappeared. The second girl left for the back room and didn't return either. I waited over 30 minutes with three girls twiddling there thumbs not taking care of me. After trying to get a parking space in the Shore which is crazy I said to myself I'm finished with this store! Having problems with WiFi dropping- so woman removed safari- put in google- now my gmail won't open anything- and my WiFi still doesn't work. Have never received good service going in this store! Have always had to go back to another store to have them fix it. Bought my phone there- they didn't transfer anything from my other phone- I won't go on and on- but last time going back- now I am going to the Called Att and Apple store- they cannot figure out why someone would do this and tried to help me reinstall it- but it would not- so now have to go to Apple store. Within an hour I had a new identity. A new phone identity which means a new phone company, brand new Berry and a new phone number! I wasn't in the market for a new one, but when your cell is your primary phone and it gets stolen...... well you gotta go get yourself a new one. And also since Verizon wanted me to pay +$500 for a new one with them (no I didn't have insurance) it just made more sense to pay their cancellation fee and walk here. Doesn't it suck when it just does not make logical sense for customer service, but a store clerk just can't think outside the box? I have to say that AT&T def kicks butt in terms of selection of cute phones. I know its not all about cute............but we're not talking about a car here people. Its my phone. Its with me 24-7. I chose the Blackberry Curve in titanium. I was tempted by red, but the red was just toooooo red? I don't like electronics to be odd colors. Service here from Amber was so helpful especially with my frustration of having my Iphone 4 stolen. Although she couldn't get me a new replacement without my having to pay the full $600 for another one, she did try her best to make sure I kept my unlimited data plan by placing a hold on it so it and also letting the phone representative on the phone know that a note was made to ensure that no one else could change my data plan. She also took down my IMIE phone ID # to see if it was already in use by the jerk, I mean, new owner of my phone. We were in there for a while trying to see what other options I had so Amber also tried to engage us in some convo because I'm sure she could see the annoyance on my face. I called to make sure they had the Black 32 gig in stock. Yep! They are in stock.. come on down. I run down to the store, and was told that there is no way to get the phone to take it with me... the person with the account has to sign for it. That's new... I guess since I got the last iphone as a gift. "If you want to pay retail.. it's 699.00" Alright... No fuvking problem. I'll just go up the street and get the person for whom the gift is intended, and we can have lunch at Rubio's and get the phone. YES! We walk across the street and down the block. I have everything I need for a successful purchase...the giftee, the credit card and the right attitude. Half way into the transaction they guy says, "The phone will be here in about a week. Pay for it now... and we'll get the order right out." But wait! you had them in stock just an hour ago.... That's what that fellew in the dumpy blue shirt told me. Guess what I told him to do? These people are totally incompetant. Why didn't the first unattractive geek tell me I had to wait a week? No customer service...no one anticipates the next move. My bf and I went in today to get him on my plan and get him a new phone, and me an upgrade. We were greeted by Jesus, and he was so helpful and friendly. background: my BF and i are heavily tattooed, and aren't welcome everywhere with open arms. Not once were we made to feel any thing but decent deserving customers. Jesus had to go through many hoops getting my BFs number changed over, and myself authorized on the account (it was under my dads name). My friend got his iPhone here with a minimum of fuss and muss. It was a weeknight too so there was only like one other person in the store who needed help, meaning we had the undivided attention of our salesperson Lacey, who was really great. Friendly and efficient, she got our stuff done in record time, explaining everything along the way and answering our questions patiently. It's a small store, so not a huge selection of accessories and whatnot, just the basics. Also, since it's on 2nd St I imagine the parking here probably sucks most of the time (but we didn't have to deal with that). Overall a good location because of its staff. read more

These were the only two associates on the floor and they were helpful to everyone that came in.
