This is about AT&T as an Internet Provider. Internet went down as a result of a windstorm. Took AT&T over a week to be available to come and make a repair. They never came. But they charged for that time though I had no Internet service. Not the first time. Previously hand-carried a spent modem to a storefront on Market in San Francisco when they told me to bring it, then they insisted they hadn't received it. Learned one has to get shipping address/label from them and return via Fed-Ex. And had to give up old landline (square phone) because they kept insisting I was calling places I'd never even heard of, at over $500.00 a month. I'm seldom on the phone, ever. No integrity or ethics at all. Totally distrust them. read more

FRAUD ALERT - BEWARE OF KONNER! This store takes advantage of monolingual Asian customers. Konner convinced me and my husband to open new phone lines with him at the store. He promised us complimentary AirPods (3rd Gen) as part of the deal. We never asked for this -- it was entirely his offer -- so we trusted him and thought he was being kind. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. After we opened the phones, he told us the AirPods were "not available yet" and asked us to come back next week. When we did, he told us again to come back the following week. This continued for two whole months. Finally, he told us to go to another store in Chinatown to pick them up. When we arrived there, the staff said the AirPods were not complimentary at all and tried to charge us for them! We feel completely misled and taken advantage of. Konner's promises were false and deceptive, and this experience was especially disappointing because he clearly took advantage of our trust and limited English. Warning to others: Get everything in writing and do NOT believe any verbal promises from this salesperson. What he says is not what you'll get. read more

Do not come here! The staff is incompetent. They allow the customers to make the rules which led to a horrible experience. Went in for an upgrade for 2 phones and somehow they mixed up the phones. Not only that they do not know how to activate the phone but it shouldn't take 2 hours to activate/transfer. They forced my mother to come back to return her phone because they refuse to own up to their fuck-up. They also told her to wait 3 months or something before she can upgrade. Now the upgrade is on the wrong phone. Do not come here! Go go Apple or to an actual AT&T store directly--not an "authorized dealer." read more

this isn't a review of this particular store, but for ATT service in general. What horrific service they have, fraudulent billing practice. I started fiber service with them back in Nov/Dec of 2023. Was told there's a great promotion for fiber, that I get a free iPhone 14 upgrade with the fiber. The agent on the phone said it's an incredible deal, available just in my area! Since then, I've been charged for the iPhone 14 equipment! that's 9-10 months of equipment charge. I spend hours on the phone with them back in May/June. finally got a hold of a supervisor who said they were going to take care of everything. Wrote a note as such. Fast forward to today, I looked on my bill, and still there is equipment charge for the iPhone 14. After 4 hours on the phone, being disconnected twice and no one bothering to call back, I've gotten pretty much no where. A supervisor saw the note from the May/June supervisor I spoke to, said should only take 60 days for this to become active on my account (ie no equipment charge and getting credit for all the fee they charged since Nov/Dec). Since it's not happening, she transferred me to the advanced technical support department. The supervisor in the advanced technical support department is looking into this. But, here's the thing, everything time over the past 20 years that I had made any changes to my account, I am overbilled.... take hours on the phone to get no where. This is ATT's practice, overbill you. I'm switching to another service provider the first chance I get. read more

No stars. Disrespected. Ignored. I waited outside the door for 15 minutes before the store opened at 11am. I was the first one in the door. This Old Lady cut me and started talking so the sales associate talked back she completely ignored me and my mom. I've been waiting as the counter for 56 minutes without being helped even though I am the first one in the door. I am extremely irritated and disappointed with atnt customer service. In the emergency room, you at least get seen based on arrival time then triaged based on severity. Same issue - both customers want a new phone. Why she was helped before me is wrong! The manager needs to address the lack of personnel as there is 6 others on this store waiting. I am thinking of switching to another carrier based on this experience and the lack of online and in person experience. read more

I have phone service with ATT and wanted to add the Internet service. When I placed the order I was told to have bundled service of the phone and Internet. It took four months for them to get their acts together. Their excuse was that they needed to coordinate with muni to get the fiber cable to cross from one side of the street to the other side. This is in the Richmond district. Now ATT told me they could not get the phone service on the same Internet line and they sent me two separate bills. The total cost is doubled that I intended to pay. So forget about ATT. Sonic is the carrier you should go with. ATT is just too big to care about good customer service read more

This was the third store I visited after Stonestown and 827 Irving on 12th Avenue. All I'm trying to do is cancel service for a deceased family member. I had also called their customer service line three times. The customer service line would tell me to go in store and the store would tell me to call. I explained this to the rep at this third store and they immediately helped me resolve this issue. They called at&t on my behalf and the 20 minutes it took to resolve was way better than my 4 wasted hours on the phone and 2 hours wasted waiting at the two other stores. I know they didn't make any money off me and i don't require at&t service at this time, but if I do in the future, I'll be sure to come here. read more

I usually hate going to att and everything is a hassle, but Ian and Aaron (I hope I remembered your names) worked with me to find the best option and set up my new phone for me. They were very gracious since I am not the primary person on my phone plan too and gave clear instructions on what to do. I am very pleased with my experience here! Earlier today, I called 1-800 number for canceling my account on Jan 11th 2019. The person who took care of me at customer service, cut my service immediately, even after I checked with him that make sure it's gonna be available until Jan 11th 2019! Since this was only phone line I have, I gotta run to nearest AT&T store which was this one. I was not sure if that possible they can restore my account, so was very anxious and upset. There were two people working in this store at that time. And they helped me to restore my account service, tried to make me comfort. Calvin was extremely helpful when I came in needing an upgrade for my old iphone 5c. He was very knowledgeable about the different phone models and helped me pick out my new iphone 8. I came to this store on 2/6/18 to upgrade my iPhone 5s to iPhone X. Before I came to the store, I called to the store and there's service agent named Zi to talk to me and answered my questions for upgrading. Through the call, he answered most of the questions and made me decide to go to the store and look for him to upgrade my phone. His services was excellent and gave me details about the phone insurance coverage etc; He also tried to profile and cross-sell me the other products with store promotion. I used to work at serving sector some years and totally understood what he was trying to do, however, the way he's cross-selling is excellent and he focused on the benefit of customers rather than just selling products without knowing customers' needs. I just felt like my friend to show me good stuffs and wants me to get the same benefits! Excellent job Zi !! More referrals under your name will be coming! read more
